Panama City Toyota is a family-owned company that has operated under substantially the same ownership for over 25 years. We have significant ties to the community, and believe it is our obligation to make Bay County—really the entire Florida Panhandle—a better place to live.
Although family has tenure in the community and in the automotive business, the current leadership probably has more experience as an automotive customers than as an automotive operators. Hopefully this causes us to see everything through a “customer lens,” and keeps us from ever forgetting that unfamiliarity can be intimidating. We strive to eliminate that feeling.
An early tagline for the dealership was the recognizable phrase, “Where Relationships are Born.” While this may not always be used in the dealership’s current advertising, the sentiment remains. Here, our team recognizes it’s not about us, but instead it’s about you, the customer. You are the main character of the story and we are here simply to guide you into the perfect vehicle to accomplish your goals.

I will never buy another car from Panama City Toyota. I was pressured into buying the service contract by the sales manager. I told him I didn’t want it, because it’s both expensive and a hassle to come I was pressured into buying the service contract by the sales manager. I show up this morning for my very first scheduled service and I am like 20th in line for a scheduled appointment. I don’t have a half a day to wait around your dealership for an oil change. That’s the point of having an appointment. I asked the person working if it would be more than a half hour since I had an appointment and the guy laughed and said, “it’s definitely going to be longer than 30 minutes. None of this would be an issue had I not been pressured in to buying the service agreement or if Toyota didn’t over promise on appointment times. Why even have appointments when you schedule all of these people at the same time. Panama City Toyota will never get another dime out of me or my family. More
