I recently purchase a "Brand New" 2012 Bettle 2.5L (07/14/2012), what a bad experience so far, last week had to take the car to be service due to Engine light came on, according to service team i 2.5L (07/14/2012), what a bad experience so far, last week had to take the car to be service due to Engine light came on, according to service team it was an engine light valve that need it to be replaced, after I take car with me I noticed the window does not close properly (dont go all the way up), I called my Sales Agent Ignacio Socias and to my surprise his response was: Oh those cars came with that defect you will have to deal with it, this information was not provided to me when I purchased the car and NO I dont have to deal with a defect that came with the car, due to my work I couldnt go back to the dealer to have that fix and was planning to go this coming saturday 07/28/2012 and to my luck last night coming back home from work (half way) I was stranded on the side of the road at 7:00pm (engine light came on) and car was overheated to 197 degrees. Called my "Sales Agent" and request a towing and also a car for me to be able to go to work today, he said he was going to send a towing truck but that he couldnt give me a car to use while the "Brand New" car was on the shop that he was going to call me back. After 2 hours waiting for the towing truck and plenty of calls made to Ignacio and the person of the towing company the guy arrived to pick up the car at 9:00pm, drop me off at my house and take the car to the dealer. What kind of service is that, specially for a woman being stranded on the side of the road at that time and not getting back to you when they promised to call back? And to make this day more "beautiful" from Service just called me to ask me why my car was there, is there any type of internal communication between them? I shouldnt be dealing with all this for only being with that "Brand New" Car for only 10 days. Please do research prior to investing... More

My sunroof drains experienced a meltdown out-of-warranty. Jose Luis, my service advisor, and Rolando Sanchez, the service manager, helped me with a rental car and kept me posted with repair updates. Their sk Jose Luis, my service advisor, and Rolando Sanchez, the service manager, helped me with a rental car and kept me posted with repair updates. Their skilled service tech removed my entire headliner and all interior trim above the doors to repair my sunroof drains. Amazingly, the car doesn't have any rattles and the light beige headliner and all interior upholstery looks like new even after the exhaustive work performed by the technician. Best of all, they worked with VW Customer CARE to provide me with payment assistance for the repair. When I returned with a blown fuse for my dome lights a few days later, Pablo replaced it free of charge and the service manager who was off for the day saw me entering the dealership from the highway and called to check if everything was okay. That's the kind of service that's hard to find these days. Esserman VW is not the closest dealership to me, but they have shown a level of service above and beyond any other dealerships I've been to, making it worth the extra miles to get there. With more reviews on this site than any other VW dealer in the South Florida area, there's good reason they rate so highly! Thanks, Esserman VW!!! More
The people who work there have no customer service skills. Every time I go there I get treated badly and they try to rip me off. Once they tried to make be buy a new axle for my car after asking me a skills. Every time I go there I get treated badly and they try to rip me off. Once they tried to make be buy a new axle for my car after asking me a bunch of times if I was sure that I had never been in accident. They wanted me to call my insurance company and have them pay for an axle replacement and kept asking me if I was sure I had never been in an accident. Another time they put the wrong blinker light (a left blinker light on the right side) in my car and gave me an attitude when I went to complain about their service. Sadly I choose to go again when my window broke and I went to get it fixed as an emergency. Daisy Zabala asked me if i had an appointment and I told her no, that it had just happened and that I couldn't leave my car without a window because it might get robbed or damaged by rain. She insisted that I had to make an appointment, another service consultant was able to help me. Mind you, my car is still under warranty. I will never go back there, even if I have to drive 30 miles to go another VW. The worst service consultant is Daisy Zabala, if you decide to go there after reading this review ,at least ask for someone else if she approaches you. More
I leased an EOS in 2008, and was sold a wear and tear policy by Fitzgerald, the finance manager. I returned the vehicle in May 2011. I was told I had 2 tirs that were not acceptable and owed $360. In Jun policy by Fitzgerald, the finance manager. I returned the vehicle in May 2011. I was told I had 2 tirs that were not acceptable and owed $360. In June, I filed a claim with Nation Warranty Corp, NAS. Several weeks later, NAS contacted me and claimed that Esserman had never paid them for the wear and tear policy, eventhough I have my signed copy. I went around with Esserman for months and months. Later I was told that even though I have a signed policy with NAS I actualy had the policy with another company, National Adjustment. When I filed the claim with the new compnay, they never admitted I had a policy, they just said it was deneied becaused I had filed it more than 30 days from the date I turned in the vehicle. Off course it was more than 30 days, but to no avail. I GET NO satisfaction from the dealer or VW corporate. The customer service stinks, no one returns calls and in all honesty my EOS was a piece of junk. More
