Worth the drive! We knew the Kia Telluride SX was what we wanted, and we were very particular about the color/features. And even though there is a Kia dealer 15 miles from our house, we made the 65-mile-drive to Palm Springs. Because with the help of their General Manager, Larry Jowers, we were able to get exactly what we wanted for a very fair price and felt good about it all. When there were issues at first, Larry genuinely listened to our concerns and was very considerate. He gave outstanding customer service-- even on his day off. As a result, he gained our respect, trust and business. In addition, we had a wonderful experience with our sales associate, Abid Alanazi. From the moment we met him, he was professional yet very personable. He was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. And when we were pressed for time, he went over what we needed quickly and efficiently. Overall, excellent sales associate and highly recommend asking for him. Now that we have the exact car we wanted for our family, we couldn't be happier. The safety features are incredible. The cameras and alerts are extremely helpful. The front panel and details throughtout are tastefully done. The options included are endless and the car looks so luxurious. Best investment in a car ever!!! And thanks to Larry and Abid, best service too. Like I said, worth the drive. More

The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. I would give the dealership five stars, but making the appointment was extremely frustrating. I left two messages to be called back, but had to call the third time to finally be able to make an appointment. More
Don't buy a KIA if you live in the Coachella Valley Unspeakably bad service. I have a 2017 Niro. This is the only Kia dealer in the Coachella Valley. I will not buy another Kia until there is another option. The car is nice. This dealer is the worst. They cannot answer the telephone, they cannot call you back, they let two tires wear down to zero because of bad front-end alignment and then blamed me for declining to allow them to fix it (the car is of course in warranty so that's absurd). A warning light comes on and I bring it in; they are having a lot of such cases. They apply the usual fix. On my way home from their shop after repair the warning light comes back on. Back in a few days later....all day....overnight....they need to order a part but I can drive the car. OK. The part comes in. Do they call? No. Email? No. Write a letter? No. Answer the phone? No. The part is in (finally got through to the parts department). Can I get an appointment? No. Does their website work? No. The week I got the car a screw was loose inside the rear tailgate hatch. It rattles around until it gets stuck for a while. Will they tear it apart and fix it? No. It is a hybrid. The gasoline engine does nothing but charge the battery. Does it need a not covered by warranty oil change every 15 minutes with the world's most expensive synthetic oil? Yes, of course. Is the software stable? No. Every time I pick up the car something new has gone haywire. The Kia service portal and diagnostics in the car....useless. That's why they had to keep the car overnight to find out an oxygen sensor needed to be replaced. When the computer lit up in the dash and said there was a problem I just push a button to schedule an appointment. Cool! Does that work? No. My car was the first model year for the Niro. Maybe there are some growing pains. But this dealer could make any model Kia makes seem like a trip to xxxx. (Update 7 days later) Since writing the above I wrote a service advisor (A. Durant) at Palm Springs Kia via email. That was Oct 9, seven days ago. I have since heard nothing. I then filed a complaint with kiaconsumeraffairs.com. The web form for submission of complaints did not work so I had to telephone and speak with a person, sataylor@kiaconsumeraffa…. I followed up with her by email. This was also seven days ago. I did not hear anything so on both the following day (Oct 10) and yesterday (Oct 15) I sent her a copy of the original complaint and I asked for a delivery/read receipt on the email. Both times, within an hour or so I got a notification that someone had read the email. I then expected to hear from Palm Springs Kia rather quickly, but heard nothing from anybody. Finally in disgust I just brought the car in yesterday. The service advisor said that yes indeed the part was in and did I want to wait a couple of hours? I said no, you can keep the car overnight. This morning the news is that the part did not "work" or was defective or some nonsense and a new part had to be ordered and it would not be in until next Tuesday (6 days from now). No loaner car was mentioned. After the shock wore off I have come to understand. This is the normal service this dealer provides. This is how they roll. If you don't like it, buy a different car somewhere else. More

Pleasant visit for a service recall on Ca. emissions Service advisor Lisa Peters was very nice and knowledgeable. I went in for a recall and found out I needed two more things done for my warranty for fr Service advisor Lisa Peters was very nice and knowledgeable. I went in for a recall and found out I needed two more things done for my warranty for free. It took awhile but they had a nice waiting room with television, clean restrooms, really good free coffee, free water and vending machines. I usually hate going to dealerships but this was a good experience and I will take my car back here in the future. More
