They suck, took the car and kept it 3 days and never did any work on it. They never called to say they looked at the car. I called them and the had no information and left me on hold for 45 minutes, I calle any work on it. They never called to say they looked at the car. I called them and the had no information and left me on hold for 45 minutes, I called back and they had an attitude because I asked them to get my car ready and I will pick it up and take it somewhere else. I won't take the car there again. Hopefully the new kia dealership at i10 will be better at taking care of their customers. More

If you value customer service and integrity, Palm Springs Kia does not deserve your business. My wife and I own a 2014 Kia Soul, a 2018 Kia Niro, and a 2022 Hybrid Kia Sorento. We have been taking our ca Kia does not deserve your business. My wife and I own a 2014 Kia Soul, a 2018 Kia Niro, and a 2022 Hybrid Kia Sorento. We have been taking our cars to be serviced at Palm Springs Kia for the last three years, and recently bought the Sorento there as well. We had some problems with service in the past, but the manager Jessie made everything right. He was attentive, listened well, and corrected the issues. This story is not about him or the service department. I've been eagerly awaiting the release of the EV6, Kia's new electric vehicle. Last week I saw that the prices were announced, so I called Palm Springs Kia to get a release date. I spoke with Abid who said he would give me a call as soon as one was being shipped. Let me start by saying we started our communication via email, and then via phone, and I stated what I wanted and that I would happily pay full sticker price, but asked not to pay a markup since we were such good customers. When we bought our Sorento 6-months ago, they were asking $2,000 above sticker, but let it go for $1,000. Listen, I understand supply and demand, and right now there aren’t a lot of new cars. So while I think it’s a shady business practice to markup the price of cars, I get it at least. Sure, it does not engender long-term customer satisfaction or loyalty, but I can understand why dealerships do it. So finally the call came today from Abid. I was like a giddy school boy. He sent me over the sticker and said the car would arrive next week. Yeah, it was the gt line, and over $59,000, and I only wanted the awd wind trim, but I was willing to get the fancy car and pay the premium price. Let me be clear… at no time did Kia Palm Springs promise me sticker price, but they led me to believe it wouldn’t be a problem. So I told Abid I would be right up, but it would take 40 minutes because I had to take my electric scooter. I wanted to get there first to get the paperwork done so we could lock it in. I hop on my scooter and arrive just before noon, with copies of my wife’s license. I had been texting her on the way how excited I was. I walk inside, meet Abid, and he leads me over to his desk. Before we sit down, he tells me that there will be a markup on this vehicle, and instead of just over $59,000, it will now be $78,000, and would that work? No Abid, that will not work. So put my helmet back on, told them that I was clear what I would pay in our email, and that it was poor customer service to make me scoot all the way to the dealership, just to be informed that it would be $18,000 more than originally thought. All they had to do was be honest with me upfront, and I would have been disappointed, but i would have understood. I get markups even though I don’t like them, but I cannot abide that level of duplicitousness and lack of customer service. It is just so short sighted on their part. Because now, not only am I having to waste time with this negative review, not only will I be telling my friends not to support Palm Springs Kia, but they also lost any future business, and I will be taking my three Kia’s elsewhere for service. I’m not even mad… It’s just laughable how poor the experience was. I will happily drive to San Diego, Temecula, or Riverside in the future to purchase my new cars. So if you value honesty, integrity, and good customer service, Palm Springs Kia does not deserve your business. More

Unfortunately, I was not able to make my original appointment, but Lisa worked with me, got me in, and took fantastic care of me and my vehicle. I waited at the dealership for my service to be done appointment, but Lisa worked with me, got me in, and took fantastic care of me and my vehicle. I waited at the dealership for my service to be done because I live an hour away. Bonus, I was able to take advantage of their well-stocked vending machines and watch some TV while I waited. I received a welcome text, then a text with a video showing me how my car looked and what needed to be done! I also received a text telling me my vehicle was done and ready for check out. They washed my baby too! Thank you, I will only take my Telluride to them for servicing or any work that needs to be done! More
The personnel at the check in are very helpful and personable, the waiting area is clean , neat, and uncluttered, and there is a small snack area where you can get drinks and machine items to eat. personable, the waiting area is clean , neat, and uncluttered, and there is a small snack area where you can get drinks and machine items to eat. I was charged $248.00 for labor on the replacement of $18.25 oil pressure switch. I was left waiting there 4 1/2 hours after being on time for my 9:30 am appt. It doesn't take almost 2 hours of labor to $18.25 oil pressure switch. I was left waiting there 4 1/2 hours after being on time for my 9:30 am appt. It doesn't take almost 2 hours of labor to hook up to the machine to check sensor, then check oil pressure switch, remove faulty & replace with new kit. The whole process should have been less than one hour. They now charge an outrageous amount for labor $155.00 per hour. Basically I was not only taken advantage of, I was pummeled. Apparently they charge for the time car is in repair bay, not just actual labor/work time!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬 I will NEVER use their Service Department Ever!! I realize prices have gone up, but don't screw your customers. More
