Bad experience for my first car service. Oil change and tire rotation. Agent said you’re only the second car in for service, and we have a full crew of mechanics. “We’ll have you out soon.” Oil change and tire rotation. Agent said you’re only the second car in for service, and we have a full crew of mechanics. “We’ll have you out soon.” I arrived at 8:30 am, with a promised finish time of 10 am. At 9:45am the agent said the crew is looking at my car now. I’m curious to know what happened in the first hour and 15 minutes. At 10:15am, the agent said it will be another 40-45 minutes before my car was ready. I had already told him I work at 10:30am, and that I needed the car as soon as possible. He informed me they found a nail in my tire and had to repair it. Still no explanation why it was taking so long…. At 11am I went to the service desk and requested my car. He said it was ready to go. It took him 7 minutes to finalize my bill. I ended up being 45 minutes late for work. This customer service agent is not well-suited for his job. At least he could have offered me a discount or coupon for my next service appointment. If this is the typical experience for the service department at this dealership, I’ll sell the car and never consider another purchase from them. More
