Do yourself a favor and work with anyone at P&W except Tom Morgan. Tom can be an alright guy when he's in a fine mood but looks can be deceiving. I have seen him get downright abusive towards custo except Tom Morgan. Tom can be an alright guy when he's in a fine mood but looks can be deceiving. I have seen him get downright abusive towards customers he is not happy with. We can't all mesh, I suppose; however, wearing your heart on your sleeve is far from appropriate if you're just going to be juvenile about it. I highly suggest working with Brenda or any of the other available sales people... just not Tom Morgan. I've personally had a great experience with Brenda Graham. More
Although I've had great experiences at other BMW Dealerships (A&L, Ganley)...P&W was by far the absolute worst experience that I've had so far. I was advised to pay for services on mulitple parts on Dealerships (A&L, Ganley)...P&W was by far the absolute worst experience that I've had so far. I was advised to pay for services on mulitple parts on my vehicle in which I did pay to get fixed. However, I drove off of the lot twice with my car not being fixed properly. Therefore, I had to return my vehicle to allow the "Service" Department to "fix" my vehicle again. I decided to trade my vehicle in, I was approved by a bank however the bank had requirements on the type of vehicle that they would approve. My Sales representative could not find a vehicle in inventory to fit the requirements of the bank. I've been driving a loaner car for 63 days waiting for a vehicle. I called the dealership multiple times to return phone calls and each time, my sales representative & the manager was assisting another customer. I received a threatening text message from the sales rep stating this....."I need you to give me a callback within an hour. If not I will be reporting the loaner car you have stolen." I couldn't believe it. I called back and drove to the dealership. The Manger advised me that unfortunately there is nothing that they could do on their end, I don't have any other choices but to pay for service to "fix" my vehicle again or do not get it fixed at all. Although, I was approved by a bank, they didn't have the inventory so I was left to pay a significant amount once again! After my experience with P&W BMW I will NEVER purchase another BMW again. My car will be paid off next year...I will be trading it in for a Mercedes Benz. I guarantee that Mercedes Benz doesn't treat their customers in such a way. If you own a BMW in Pittsburgh, PA I would recommend to receive service at A&L BMW or Sewickley BMW! More
Recently, I have a extremely terrible experience with P & W dealership. I am really disgusted by that. They lie in your face just to gain a couple of hundred dollar in sales. This is DEFINITELY damaging BM & W dealership. I am really disgusted by that. They lie in your face just to gain a couple of hundred dollar in sales. This is DEFINITELY damaging BMW's reputation. They first lied to you that the finance went through the BMW bank. But actually, they used a small local bank. Then they secretly added a couple of hundred dollars on the previous agreed sales price when I went to pick up the car. Then they lied to you that they will waive the bank processing fee. But actually, the bank never waives that. When I found out about this, they would not admit it, even saying I signed the contract anyway! Are they out of their mind? Then they assured me that if I pay off my finance early, no penalty will be applied. LIE AGAIN! the bank always charge the penalty. The tactics they are using is to first trick you to buy cars from them by offering reasonable price and seemingly professional behavior. Then they start lying to you on many things. So if you really have to deal with them, do not submit your customer review to BMW until you find everything is correct. Be very careful with this dealership. They are dishonest! They do not have integrity as a business, and even as a person!!! More
I want to be clear that my 1-star rate is only for the finance people. My salesman Tom is great, no complain at all. However, the finance people are just cheaters and scam. They agreed to waive the bank p finance people. My salesman Tom is great, no complain at all. However, the finance people are just cheaters and scam. They agreed to waive the bank processing fee for the loan, but they didn't do so at all, until I found the number was larger from my loan statement. They tried to cover their own mistake by letting me call the bank and see if the bank can refund the fee to me, which is totally RIDICULOUS. Even the bank thinks it's ridiculous, because they should know clearly the bank will charge that fee for sure, and it's their responsibility to refund the overcharged money to the client. Their irresponsible behavior also includes not answering your calls, your messages or your questions, because they don't want to admit their mistakes or their scams. This is NOT the way of doing business. So be very careful when you deal with those finance people. They really like to play games and fool you. More
I strongly believe they create problems so you have to come back and get them fixed. This is my own speculation based off my experiences. I'm looking into this and reaching out to other BMW dealerships f come back and get them fixed. This is my own speculation based off my experiences. I'm looking into this and reaching out to other BMW dealerships for their opinions. I wouldn't take your car here. I'm incredibly skeptical of their service center. More
I lived in Pittsburgh for nine years, moving to New Jersey in July 2012. For much of that period, Max Moser was my service rep. He was great. Professional, knowledgeable, yet friendly and extremely tru Jersey in July 2012. For much of that period, Max Moser was my service rep. He was great. Professional, knowledgeable, yet friendly and extremely trustworthy. I recommend him and P&W service unreservedly. I bought my latest BMW -- a 2004 330ci - from Fred Rongier. I will always be grateful to Fred for recommending the color -- that wonderful grey-green that came out in 2004 but I think not since. I was looking at ordinary blue. He said "No. You want . . . this" and he took me out to show me the grey-green. He just stood back as I fell in love. (It may have taken a day or two, but the effect was the same.) I've had the car since, and I won't replace it until I find a color I like as much. Thanks, Fred, and thanks, Max. Warmly, Allan More
I brought my car in for an inspection and some repairs. Specifically the major issue was that my wipers weren't working. Brandon called me later to say that the wipers needed a new relay and that this would come to about $150 (in addition to the $100 diagnostic). I was concerned that this was simply replacing the fuse box relay which would take less than one minute and asked Brandon what the repair entailed. He said he didn't know and certainly didn't seem interested in finding out. Plus he said my wipers were streaking and needed to be replaced. I hadn't noticed this but really didn't have much choice given that he said the car wouldn't pass inspection. When I picked up the car I discovered that indeed it what just the relay in position 36 in the box. For $250?! Fortunately, the manager who was there when I picked up the car subtracted the service charge, but I feel the service advisor should have a better idea of what he is charging you for, or at least make an effort to find out. I was also told my wipers needed to be replaced to pass inspection because they were streaking. I hadn't noticed this at all, but didn't have much choice given I was 25 miles away from the dealership and couldn't very well just pick up my car after paying and then have it inspected elsewhere. I also was quoted another $1600 dollars of work which I declined. Taking my car to another service center to have that work done, I was told that it wasn't needed. Keep in mind, I didn't just ask their opinion. I told them I wanted the problem fixed, only to be told there wasn't one. The real egregious issue was that I was told my tire tread was low and Brandon told me I would need new tires by the middle of winter. I agreed to replace them. When I checked my service records at home I discovered that I had gotten new tires at P and W 17 months and 20 thousand miles earlier. Frustrated by this, I checked the Continental website to discover that the tires were warranted to 80 thousand miles. I brought this up to P and W but was required to first pay the $1000 bill. When Jim called me Monday morning, he said I was required to inform them about the warranty before the work was done, even though P and W had sold me both sets of tires. As a consolation, he offered me a free detailing. I let him know this was in no way satisfactory. I was then informed by Jim that he had passed the buck to Continental, even though their warranty clearly puts the onus on the dealer. He also told me there would be a 90 to 120 day delay before a response would be issued. The next day I called Continental, only to be told that they had never spoken to P and W and there was no case file for this issue. I notified P and W of this. Still no work back, except that they are looking into it. This is not even close to what I would consider customer service. I should point out that I have been bringing my car to P and W for several years, but will not do so in the future, nor would I buy a car from them. More
