They worked on it and fixed a secondary issue still under warranty, but they lacked the wherewithal to have originally realized that it was under warranty. They attempted to charge me over $1200 for the job until I demanded that they were wrong and that it should still be covered under the powertrain warranty. They realized that they were not going to get a dime out of me until they actually followed the warranty rules and fix it for no charge. But while they were under the car they decided to find 3 other issues that specifically were not covered. All 3 were a hoax because I had a certified technician look at afterwards and he said that they were just trying to get money for doing nothing. Once they were fixed I picked up my car and drove off. Less that 2 weeks later, the check engine light came on again. Upon my inspection, a knocking noise came from the area around the intake manifold (what they just replaced). Long story short, took it in because it seemed like an issue they could have easily caused. They came back with the knock sensor being busted. Now, I’m well aware things break for no apparent reason. However, the knock sensor lies just underneath the intake manifold. Seems a little fishy to me. The main guy that handles the phones said that it was nowhere near the intake manifold. Not according to engine diagrams though... Their quote on labor was $270. A little high, all things considered. Just a short sensor that only requires removing a piece or two. But that is what their book of repairs told them it would cost. I looked it up and found out how easy it was, it’s location, and how likely it was that they caused it. I confronted them and they stuck their ground, even being rude to my wife when I had to step away for a minute. I will not stand for that. We decided that we were going to just do it ourselves. We made sure to give them an earful and showed them the diagrams of how they were wrong. One technician even said that we should pull the car up and pull out the old part since it would “only take a minute”. I confronted him about his estimate for looking at the part to which he responded that the labor cost of $270 was accurate for removing and replacing the part that would “only take a minute” to pull out and look at. We called them out on all of their BS money grabbing practices and then simply demanded our car back because they were not deserving of anyone’s time or money. They then proceeded to require $58.XX dollars to pull our car off the rack! There simply was no way to keep their sticky fingers out of our pocketbook for that one though. I tend to be a quiet calm person that gives people loads of respect. I am also a Chevy guy that is pretty brand-loyal. This dealership has lost all of my faith and business. I will never return to this dealership. I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to get to Springfield for the dealerships there. Never waste your time with this awful dealership. Go somewhere else. Terrible customer service No responsibility for their mistakes No willingness to work with you Outrageous prices for “only take a minute” jobs Never go here More

The 512 is on upper end of charges in my estimate it would be the cost to repair the vehicle in a higher cost of living area ie.los angels or another big metropolitan area. Knowing this I called other dealerships in this area Pinegar and Marshfield Chevrolet and their estimate from both was 320. After I learned this I complained to shop supervisor. He refused to match price these other dealership charge. Pinegar and Marshfield cheverolet had the same part cost as Ozark Chevrolet but the labor charges were twice as high at Ozark Chevrolet. There were bogus charges for 30 dollars for shop materials and 280 labor charges. I don't know why they don't believe in a business philosophy of wanting repeat customers instead of cheating them. After all I bought two cruzes from Dennis hanks Chevrolet (the dealership which was bought out by Ozark Chevrolet located in same building). My door after they made the repair rattles now. More

The fifth time and five weeks later I contacted corporate for help with this issue. Corporate did respond and a new motor was installed after two more weeks. Since the new motor was installed the dash warning for low oil is coming on and the dipstick cannot be removed and the engine light flashes at random times. After taking it to the dealership three service people could not remove the dipstick. I was told to drive it and bring it back the following week and they were able to pry the dipstick out and they added oil and said everything was fine. They left it locked in four wheel drive for some reason. It has been two weeks now and the oil, dipstick and four wheel drive have been the only issues so far. More

We contacted them by email and Shane Davis called and set up appointment time that worked for us. We got there late afternoon in winter when it gets dark early and were driving our new truck home before dark. More

The salesman and sales manager both were very helpful providing timely information and making the buying process as easy as possible. Everything works properly on the Colorado and the gas milage is as advertised. Ozark Chevrolet will be the first place we look when we go to replace other vehicles that we own. More
