This is the third vehicle that we have purchased from Oxmoor Toyota. Salesperson, Richard Edmondson has great customer service skills, he approached us with a smile and handshake. We returned to Oxmoor Oxmoor Toyota. Salesperson, Richard Edmondson has great customer service skills, he approached us with a smile and handshake. We returned to Oxmoor Toyota for another matter but. Mr. Edmondson ask my husband, what would be the next vehicle he would purchase as soon as the lease on the ToyotaRav4 lease was up that Mr, Edmondson had previous lease to us. My husband told Mr. Edmondson a Cadillac, Mr Edmondson explained to us that they were nice vehicles. Then, he ask us to wait a few minutes then he returned with a 2011 Toyota Avalon. Mr. Edmondson went along with us to test drive the vehicle. He showed all the special features. He explained to us a Cadillac's value would drop versus the Avalon's value would hold up longer and it was better built vehicle. The 2011 Toyota Avalon was a manager's demo with a $5000 drop on the original price. Therefore, we able to purchase the vehicle at a reasonable price, with affordable monthly payments to own. Thanks again Mr Edmondson. We will recommend our family and friends to the dealership and Mr Edmondson. Mr. Kevin and Judy Blakey. More
When I first bought my car not through this group but a dealership out of Louisville, Oxmoor was not very helpful in providing service or warranty work to my new Camery. Only went here because it was clos dealership out of Louisville, Oxmoor was not very helpful in providing service or warranty work to my new Camery. Only went here because it was closer than driving back 150 miles to the other dealer. Brought my car in to have the driver side handle repaired. Was able to get car into the shop for the first appointment of the day. The service person was good and got the paper work taken care of quickly and I was able to catch the shuttle back home by a respectable time. Did not hear back about the car until late in the day and they did not have the part. They would have to order it. I left the car overnight and the next day about noon got a call and the color was wrong for the part so they would have to reorder the part and have it sent in. They still have not performed the oil change or a few other small jobs on the car yet. I picked up the car so I would have it for the weekend, no real apoligies or anything, brought the car back first thing Monday and it took till late in the day to get the car and I had to call to find out about the car status. The price for the service seems higher than others Not sure if I will use them for service in the future. More
Recently we needed a timing belt replaced so we called Oxmoor and got a VERY competitive price for parts and labor. However the final bill was considerably higher than the quote. After discussing the ma Oxmoor and got a VERY competitive price for parts and labor. However the final bill was considerably higher than the quote. After discussing the matter with Jason Rooney and together reviewing the notes I had taken while getting the quote, it was determined the quote had in fact not included labor and that was the reason the actual price was higher than the quote. OXMOOR’S JASON ROONEY STEPPED UP AND PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST and refunded us for the disputed amount. I would use them for service again. Their actual price (parts and labor) was fair; although a bit higher than the independent shop I that I typically use outside of the Louisville area. Oxmoor's price seemed to be lower than other dealers based on my research. Plus Oxmoor has a free shuttle and they get the work completed quickly. The next time I use them I will just lean toward over communicating and perhaps try to deal with the same person from start to finish (hopefully Jason) because in addition to the pricing issue there seemed to be another communication break downs at Oxmoor; when we dropped the car off they seemed surprised to see us despite having set up the appointment. It’s as if the person giving us the quote and making the appointment was totally disconnected to the service department. Once I started dealing with Jason the communications were much improved. More
I am the owner of a 2005 toyota avalon. On august 1 2011 my family and I were traveling through kentucky on vacation ..when my car started acting up. We were tied up in construction traffic when the engine started chugging and shutting down we managed to get off the interstate to service station. Not being familiar with the area several people reccommended your dealership.we were several miles outside louisville and it was around six pm. I called your service department and explained our problem to Dave Faircloth. He told me they were open till eight pm he gave me directions to the dealership and told me if i got there before eight he would write up service ticket and work on it first thing in morning. We made it in before closeing time and DAVE wrote up the service. DAVE also noticed the stranded look on my face and gave me a loaner car for the night and directions to motels.Dave also gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him if i had any more trouble. The next morning we were on our way to complete our vacation. My family and I believe this service to be excellent. Dave is a true asset to your dealership. Do to his superb dedication and attention to his customers he is a hero in our eyes. A great big thank you to Dave and the employees of your dealership. More
I bought a 2001 Camry last year and was not at all happy with the transaction but like the car. First they added a "special benefit package" for $600 and I didn't really get any concrete information what i with the transaction but like the car. First they added a "special benefit package" for $600 and I didn't really get any concrete information what it was for. They just said it was always part of the deal but I would get free oil changes and other benifits. A few months ago I went in and got a free oil change. I took it in yesterday and they said they have stopped doing that. Guess this one oil change was my "special benefit". I think $600 was a lot for an oil change !! Yesterday they charged me for my oil change, twice what I could get it for other places and when I got home and looked at the check point page, they had checked everything. I raised the hood and see that the coolant is really low and also the windshield wiper fluid. How much would it have cost to fill them? Everywhere I have had oil changes before, that is always done. I'm not sure now what was done and what was just checked off the list. I will never go back to Oxmoor Toyota even though I plan to keep Toyota cars. They are not the only ones who sell Toyota so I plan to look other places next time. More
Purchased a car. We liked it. The first sales manager was a jerk and when we refused the percentage they offered, Charles another sales manager came over and said a mistake was made and the actual percentage a jerk and when we refused the percentage they offered, Charles another sales manager came over and said a mistake was made and the actual percentage was lower. It was acceptable, so we purchased the car. During the negotiation, Charles says that they have only had the car for one month and it had been "certified". This added a value of $1500 to the car. However the following problems were observed: the molding was coming up on the roof, the brakes scraped, pulled to the left extremely bad, and the wipers were horrible. All were mentioned at time of purchase, (except brakes weren't noticed until afterward). Salesman promised it would be taken care of. Also after the removal of the marketing paint on the windshield it was noticed that the windshield had cracks. This could not be noticed before because of the writing and painting. We called not fifteen minutes after leaving to talk to Salesman and he said it would be replaced and to bring it in. We brought it in, it wasn't repaired. "Sorry, don't know what happened. Please bring it back." Molding was replaced. However, came up again. During the talk to the service department, found out that car wasn't received a month ago was actually serviced and "certified" three months earlier. DON'T GO FOR THE "CERTIFIED" = ITS A JOKE!. After the second drop off the car and the windshield still not replaced or tinted (which was promised at time of purchase), I called and spoke to Customer Relations Manager, Brittany. I told her I was going to be out of town for a week and to please make arrangements for the windshield the following Monday. I wanted this in her lap to make sure it would be done. The following Monday the car is dropped off. I pick it up that afternoon and guess what -- the windshield is the same! I call Brittany and she says it is not being replaced, only repaired to prevent further spread. I tell her that is unacceptable that Paul had promised and it was because of their gimmicking writing that it wasn't noticed. Too bad, "SIR YOU BOUGHT A USED CAR AS IS". Amazing how the "certification" turned into a "as is" car. My recommendation -- This was my second purchase here. The first one was smooth. However, they have lost all of my future business. No one knows what the other is doing. I will say that Corey and Bryce have been nice. Service is poor. As of right now, 25 days after purchase, my brakes have still not been looked at, my windshield still has a crack, and my car is overnight there waiting for the glue to keep the molding down for the second time. Hopefully my windows are tinted when I pick it up tomorrow. Oxmoor Toyota will not get one more cent from me, and I will not recommend to any of my friends. My co-workers can't believe how many trips I have had to make and the inconvenience they have put me through. We received a questionnaire from Toyota Certification and I hope they respond to the long letter we wrote them. Toyotas are great cars and we own two of them and have owned in the past two previously. However, I will NEVER drive on the Oxmoor Toyota lot again after my 90 day warranty is up. NEVER will I ever look at or purchase a car from them. Take my advise --- DRIVE ON BY! More
My wife and I bought a new '07 Yaris and got a decent deal, not the best but it was a little more than reasonable and our sales guy played the desperate "I need to make a sale line" and we got soft and b deal, not the best but it was a little more than reasonable and our sales guy played the desperate "I need to make a sale line" and we got soft and bought, but we love the car. However, their service dept. has been absolutely horrible. Another user has mentioned "empty promises" and that is exactly what they give (3 hours for an OIL CHANGE). To go with the oil change we need to replace a passenger side mirror, which despite a promise of the car being finished in a day the part has taken over a week and is still not there, with no guarantees on delivery or where a part may even be. No one has said that they would call us to let us know when the part would be there; and when we left our car and the part did not make it in 2-3 days (as promised) they failed to even call and let us know our car was just sitting at the dealership, despite guaranteeing it to be finished that day. Thus, leaving us scrambling to find rides for my wife from work. I will never use their service dept. ever AGAIN!!! I have heard so much good info about Toyota of Louisville it makes me a little disappointed in our choosing of Oxmoor in the first place. More
