Recently we needed a timing belt replaced so we called Oxmoor and got a VERY competitive price for parts and labor. However the final bill was considerably higher than the quote. After discussing the ma Oxmoor and got a VERY competitive price for parts and labor. However the final bill was considerably higher than the quote. After discussing the matter with Jason Rooney and together reviewing the notes I had taken while getting the quote, it was determined the quote had in fact not included labor and that was the reason the actual price was higher than the quote. OXMOOR’S JASON ROONEY STEPPED UP AND PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST and refunded us for the disputed amount. I would use them for service again. Their actual price (parts and labor) was fair; although a bit higher than the independent shop I that I typically use outside of the Louisville area. Oxmoor's price seemed to be lower than other dealers based on my research. Plus Oxmoor has a free shuttle and they get the work completed quickly. The next time I use them I will just lean toward over communicating and perhaps try to deal with the same person from start to finish (hopefully Jason) because in addition to the pricing issue there seemed to be another communication break downs at Oxmoor; when we dropped the car off they seemed surprised to see us despite having set up the appointment. It’s as if the person giving us the quote and making the appointment was totally disconnected to the service department. Once I started dealing with Jason the communications were much improved. More
I received a large TV as an incentive with my 2002 Ford Escape. I gave it to my husband as a surprise Christmas present and when it was opened it was smashed. The box on the outside - perpect, inside TV Escape. I gave it to my husband as a surprise Christmas present and when it was opened it was smashed. The box on the outside - perpect, inside TV - smashed. I called the dealer to report the problem and was told to bring it in for a replacement. But when I brought it in (300 miles 1 way) I was told they couldn't do that withour the General Manager's approval and he wasn't there. I have called 3 to 5 times a week since and noone returns any calls. Yesterday I insisted to talk to a live person and through him the General Manager decided that they have no responsibility for the TV - It's too old to take it back where they origanally purchased the set and since they can not get their money back I get no TV. How did this go from, "No problem", to "You're stuck with it" in 2 weeks? Bad custommer service. I will never go there again. More

I would not advise anyone to use this dealership. I received no response to the price offers I made online. I reached out for a special sale they were having on Prius only to get no response and than received no response to the price offers I made online. I reached out for a special sale they were having on Prius only to get no response and than when they did respond, they quoted me $1000 more than the advertised price. Also I inquired about having aftermarket leather installed and they quoted me a price that was $600-$700 higher than the actual cost even though they were not performing any of the work themselves. Please question all of their prices including the add on dealer fees that range about $700. They are the highest out of all the dealerships I shopped at. I ended up buying a car out of town and saved almost $2500 by shopping around. More
If you do your homework, Oxmoor Toyota does NOT measure up to other dealerships. They do NOT stand behind their services. The level of manipulation is disgusting...I am NOT as stupid as I look....hence no up to other dealerships. They do NOT stand behind their services. The level of manipulation is disgusting...I am NOT as stupid as I look....hence no sale for you!! This dealership has even changed management, but it is STIL a horrible place to even think about buying from. Arbitration papers?? REALLY?? Again, I'm not that stupid. I went to another dealership, was treated w/respect...walked out w/a car...They did wanted to make the sale...even though I was paying cash. Admitting you make mistakes is not a fault, it makes you credible. I would think that you would want to pride yourselves on being the best....honoring your customers' requests, and making them feel good about buying from you.... ** I was VERY mistaken ** More

We were tied up in construction traffic when the engine started chugging and shutting down we managed to get off the interstate to service station. Not being familiar with the area several people reccommended your dealership.we were several miles outside louisville and it was around six pm. I called your service department and explained our problem to Dave Faircloth. He told me they were open till eight pm he gave me directions to the dealership and told me if i got there before eight he would write up service ticket and work on it first thing in morning. We made it in before closeing time and DAVE wrote up the service. DAVE also noticed the stranded look on my face and gave me a loaner car for the night and directions to motels.Dave also gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him if i had any more trouble. The next morning we were on our way to complete our vacation. My family and I believe this service to be excellent. Dave is a true asset to your dealership. Do to his superb dedication and attention to his customers he is a hero in our eyes. A great big thank you to Dave and the employees of your dealership. More
I originally had some issues with this dealership but they were VERY proactive about solving the issue and we were able to come to an agreement. I get to end up with a car I really wanted and I feel goo they were VERY proactive about solving the issue and we were able to come to an agreement. I get to end up with a car I really wanted and I feel good about the transaction. The way they dealt with the problem will also ensure that I most likely return to buy my next car as their prices and inventory are much better than the nearby competition. More
I have been to Oxmoor Toyota in person 2 times, had several phone conversations and visited the site many times. Called in to N- in internet who ran my credit. Approved but high interest rate. I deci several phone conversations and visited the site many times. Called in to N- in internet who ran my credit. Approved but high interest rate. I decided to begin to shop for a lower priced car to build revolving credit for a year, and then return to buy what I really wanted once the credit is better. STEP 1 accomplished. Visit #1: Driving around the lot in a rental while my car was in the shop to see what they had in my price range. Of course, there are no prices on the cars. Approached 1st by AR and a new sales guy training. AR not pushy and seemed to know his stuff so I kept his card. Approached only 1 minute later by DS who proceeded to outright lie about TV promotion being on still, that he had just picked up about 500 that day, worked in computers there also, and would look for a Fusion for me at their lots and would call the next day. Very uncomfortable, pushy and seemed a little creepy so left. He did not call. I decided maybe he could help so called him on business card number and he was at home. Said he was off the next day but would go to Oxmoor Ford to find a good car and would swing by the office and call. No call. -Called AR to get advice on car in price range. He said he's be glad to help, and did not agree with the approach of the other salesman since the TV thing was not true. He was pretty nice, but it was very akward being patched to his cell when he was not working (experienced this before with DS. It takes them off guard. If they are not AT WORK, they should not take the calls, especially with a new potential customer.) -Called the main number to see if AR was working. He was not. I said I just wanted to get estimate on car for trade in. I told the guy who answered I was not in the mood for the sales attack, in other words, just needed estimate- one step at a time.He told me to ask for M-. Visit #2: M- simply took the keys and went out to check out the car. Came in, went to desk, gave estimate for trade in. Happy with him personally, but very unhappy with the fact that I got a range and was told it would depend on if I bought from them, etc. huh? Regardless, got somewhat of an answer. Step 2 accomplished. -Called for AR- had a low priced SUV in mind. At home again, asked me to call in morning. Called to ask about a car I saw the previous night and he saw one too, not the same. Checked the price whereupon N- said something about me being his customer. He ran the credit, I talked to AR- I don't know whose customer I am, but apparently noones now. Emailed AR about another car saw on internet asking for lower price. Also "NAMED MY PRICE" online. What a joke! No response to either!!!! I have given VERY personal information- my INCOME, SS#, etc. yet this is all I get in return. What the heck!! JOKE!!! I wish I had NEVER give MY PERSONAL information to this place. Oh, by the way, the 2nd car that caught my eye online is now off. Thanks for the call buddies! Not at all courteous or helpful. And it's pretty funny that every time I asked various people at different times about the free TV they all say, " I think that's off today, maybe tomorrow." Word for word, no joke, although hilarious. Except of course the DS guy who claimed he could move mountains moreless. I give up! More
I was in the market for a new small SUV/Crossover style vehicle and was considering several makes and models, including a RAV-4. I visited Oxmoor Toyota and while my inital salesperson was friendly, and pr vehicle and was considering several makes and models, including a RAV-4. I visited Oxmoor Toyota and while my inital salesperson was friendly, and promptly got me a RAV-4 to test drive, my issues began when I asked for the best price they could sell the vehicle to me. My salesperson came back, not with a price but with a payment...the sticker on the RAV 4 I test drove was around $24,000 and I knew with my good credit I would qualify for the 1.9% for 60 months that was currently being offered...that should have put my payment around $450 per month, even if they didn't come down off the sticker price. Instead, they told me they could offer me the "GREAT DEAL, with $1200 down, $496 per month for 60 months" What?? That puts the price of the vehicle around $30K if it's at 1.9% interest. I specifically asked for the purchase price, not the payment...any idiot knows never to shop by payment. My salesperson then went and got his boss, the sales manager, who can best be described as a "typical" car salesman. Spoke fast, tried to sell me on a payment, blah blah blah. I offered $22,500 he finally agreed to $23K. The clincher was when I questioned how they came up with the original payment, what was the purchase price on that, because I had already calculated it to be close to $30K and his reply was "Oh, you've done your homework, huh?" Yes, I may be a young woman but I am college educated and this is not my first rodeo...and their dealer fees to process paperwork was $800. Made the "free" tv they offered not so free after all, and confirmed my belief not to shop at most big-city dealerships. I will never do business with Oxmoor Toyota, or even consider them when shopping for a vehicle again. I guess they can afford to offend a few potential customers because of the large market they serve. More
We went here all the way from E Town because they had the best selection of used Prius' and I truly had my heart set on one. We went through the used car lot and James showed us all the options they had and best selection of used Prius' and I truly had my heart set on one. We went through the used car lot and James showed us all the options they had and we wanted a 2007 with not too many miles. My husband doesn't have great credit, but it's not horrible either, and they worked very hard to get us the deal we needed. We offered to go of an older model Prius if needed to work out the deal, but instead of doing that, and taking the easy way out, they got us in the car we really wanted and loved. They even had a room with cartoons on for my two young boys to watch and run round without running or climbing into the cars on the floor. (Not that they complained when they did!) It felt great buying a car from great people. And getting the car of my dreams didn't hurt either!!! More
