Scammed a veteran I bought a yukon xl from Oxendale back in the middle of April.i let them know I had numerous doctors visits for my disabled vet husband and 2 of my 5 I bought a yukon xl from Oxendale back in the middle of April.i let them know I had numerous doctors visits for my disabled vet husband and 2 of my 5 kids who are disabled with cerebral palsy. So I needed something reliable. I didn't make it even 30 minutes off the lot before the check engine light came on flashing, traction control turning on and a noise. I brought it back in the next day only to have the service manager say their is a miss fire but he couldn't get the problem duplicated. . A week later same thing happened, I took a video, sent it to them and they checked it out, said they couldn't find the misfire and to keep driving it to see if it kept happening. Happened again, same answer from Oxendale. Took a trip this weekend and got stranded over 500 miles away from home because the vehicle is now undriveable. I contacted Oxendale to have the manager tell me it's not their problem and I am on my own. It is now a 5000 dollar repair and they let their 3 month warranty run out by stringing me along so they wouldn't have to pay for the faulty vehicle they sold and didn't fix. It's be nice if they lived up to the reputation they give themselves. More
Do NOT disagree with them I had a great experience with my first salesman, but then I met the others.... I told them I was disappointed with the standard ground clearance on th I had a great experience with my first salesman, but then I met the others.... I told them I was disappointed with the standard ground clearance on the Jeep Sport, they promptly told me I was wrong, and brought out several people to tell me I was wrong. During this onslaught, one man told me "tell me everything you know about ground clearance." Since I had already been attacked on my stupidity for thinking 8 inch clearance is not perfect for everything, I told him to shut up and when to talk to the boss. The boss, did not care, and I left a very vocal dissatisfied customer, but the man who asked me to tell him everything I know, decided to wait for me outside and try to stare me down. I asked for a call from Matt Oxendale, the owner and I was told that would not happen. Wanna get told you're an idiot? Wanna get stared down? Come down to Oxendale's! More
Most terrible experience I have ever had a dealership I went to see what the Oxendale Dodge Cottonwood, AZ for the people dealership was all about. I was looking at trucks when the salesman Chris came up I went to see what the Oxendale Dodge Cottonwood, AZ for the people dealership was all about. I was looking at trucks when the salesman Chris came up and asked if he could help. I started by asking what this new for the people thing was all about. He went to tell me that it is a new way a dealership will treat people. I asked him to explain what he means by that and he said they would not pressure, not take your keys and hold them, not take your licence and hold it etc... So went on to tell him what I was looking for and what I had to work with, my complete truth about everything that was happening with my credit etc. So he pointed me in the direction of this nice looking truck. I looked at the truck and decided it was nice and I wanted to know how much it was. He (Chris) told me with the way the dealership is they could not tell me how much the truck was unless I took it for a test drive. I was kinda taken back by this whole thing but I did take it for a test drive. While I was test driving the truck I asked him again what was the price of the truck. He replied that he did not know and he would have to ask his manager when we got back. Once we got back he told me I needed to fill out paperwork and take my keys for my trade in and have the manager look over the trade in. I told him I did not want to fill out a credit form just yet because I still did not know the price of the truck. He said that I had to do this to get the price and get everything moving. I knew I should have left right then,( but I did not) my fault. Well I filled out the paper work and give them the keys to my trade in. He asked me what I was willing to pay and what I wanted for my trade in. I gave him the numbers and he said that he would be right back. He finally came back and gave me the number on the truck and what they were willing to give me on my trade in. I asked for my keys to my trade in and he said he would be right back. Then another Chris (Manager) came in with paper work saying how much they would consider on my offer that I gave Chris before he left. I told that Chris that it was not in my finances to do that deal. I then asked for my keys again and he said he would be right back with my keys. He then came back again and gave me another offer and I still declined and said where are my keys. He left again and this time I went out to watch where he went. I could see it was in an office talking to someone. They kept talking at this point I was just over the whole deal and walked into the office and said as loud as I could where are my keys. He pulled them from his pocket and said he had one last deal he could make and I needed to take it today. I told him no and he just kept on, finally i just walked out. I get a phone call about 10 minutes after I get home from Chris (Manager) again trying to give me another deal. I told him how upset I was with everything that happened and he hung up on me. I called back and tried to get him on the phone and now he was to busy to help or talk to me. I then got transferred to Travis (Chris's Manager) he told me that he was sorry for what happened and then tried to sell me the truck for what I wanted in the first place to make up for all the bad business that happened before to save me as a customer. I turned it down and said that I was still going to let Matt Oxendale (Owner) know what happened while I was there. Four days later I get a call from Chris (Salesman) saying he was sorry about what happened but he seemed to be laughing about what took place. Whatever you do don't go there. NEVER go there. More
