I made an appointment for a recall. Then had my engine light go on, (not related to the recall). I went to auto zone, got a diagnosis, and brought it to the dealership and got more info Then had my engine light go on, (not related to the recall). He stated the costs to resolve the issue would cost $385 up to $425 which included the $150 diagnostic fee. And usually takes between 1/2 - 1 hr to replace/restore. The day of my appointment I brought my vehicle in at 11:00 am. I told them to call after the recall was taken care of to get permission for any other expenses needed. I got a call around 3pm from Chris stating the recall was almost complete and the other issue would cost $537, and my vehicle would be available around 6 pm. How much does this dealership charge per hour? My purge replacement cost me $380 in labor fees alone. I feel I was lied to about the costs/ labor involved and the time it took to complete. I will never return, not even for an oil change. More
