I scheduled service with them on my vehicle. I was told they were 2 weeks out. That's fine I said and awaited the appointment. I arrived 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment at which ti I was told they were 2 weeks out. That's fine I said and awaited the appointment. I arrived 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment at which time they asked me is I needed a ride to which I said if you'll take me back to my home (21 miles away) yes. They would not go that far. I thought this unfortunate but fine I'll wait the approximately 4 to 5 hours the service would take and went to their service waiting area. After about 4.5 hours I went to see where they were at with the vehicle as no one has approached me while several others had come and gone ( I understand that oil changes etc. are faster than the services I needed). I found after waiting in their waiting area they had not even started. I will never use this dealership for anything in the future despite it being one of the closest Dodge dealers and my having purchased my most recent Dodge there and having several others. Somewhat relieved that I resisted the temptation to talk about replacing my 2019 purchased there with a 2022 from there. I will do it elsewhere More
Went to Owatonna Motors to get a key made for a Ford Escape. Was told they had 4 keys in stock but I had to go to service. In service I was told I had to go to parts. After explaining that parts sent me Escape. Was told they had 4 keys in stock but I had to go to service. In service I was told I had to go to parts. After explaining that parts sent me to him he got on his computer and said they could do it in 8 days. After further explaining that it was my daughters car and I had it now and wouldn't in 8 days I was told they couldn't help me. I went down the street to Batteries Plus where it was done in 5 minutes for a lot less money. Never going to Owatonna Motors for service again! More

I did extensive research and had exact prices I wanted for the new truck, my trade in, and an out the door price and when the supervisor came out with his out the door price we were within $500 of what I wanted. I got a very fair price, the transaction was extremely fast and smooth, and they found even more rebates that I could which lowered the price. Definitely recommend. More

Poor customer service I purchased a used 2015 F-150 from Owatonna Motor Company in July of 2018. The day I purchased it I noticed the fuel gauge wasn't working properly so I purchased a used 2015 F-150 from Owatonna Motor Company in July of 2018. The day I purchased it I noticed the fuel gauge wasn't working properly so before I took ownership they swapped the part out for a new one. My factory warrant expired about a week after purchase and less then a week after it expired my check engine light kicked on. I took the truck in and found out it was another fuel system problem and would cost over $900 to fix. I have attempted on numerous occasions to contact my salesman, the sales manager, and the GM to see if they could help me out with this problem. I figure since the truck already had a fuel system issue and the factory warranty had just expired it shouldn't be to much to ask for the dealer to stand behind their product. Out of all of the messages I have left not once have I got a phone call back. The only time I can get a hold of Dave (salesman) is when I call and ask to talk to him about a car sale. So far the excuses I have got are the sales manager is always on a test drive and the GM is moving the entire inventory to Minneapolis but Dave always promises they'll be sure to call me in the next day or two. This has been going on for two months. It's one thing not to want to fix the truck it's an entire other level of poor service when you give a customer the run around or just ignore them. I will never buy another car from this dealership and I would recommend you look somewhere else for your next purchase if you value good customer service after your purchase. I guess I should have caught on to their approach to customer service when they didn't even give me a full tank of gas after I bought the truck! More

Great Sales and Service Owatonna Motor Company hit a home run with us twice in a row. After an issue with our van, in which it needed to be towed, we used them for service. T Owatonna Motor Company hit a home run with us twice in a row. After an issue with our van, in which it needed to be towed, we used them for service. They were reasonably priced and both fast and thorough on the repairs. We began shopping for a new vehicle shortly thereafter and didn't check out Owatonna Motor Company until the very end of our search. We were actually prepared to purchase a vehicle from another dealer in town but saw one we liked online and decided to check it out. As we were perusing the lot with our toddler asleep in the back seat Brian Miller approached us and asked if he could help. The initial vehicle we came to see had just sold, but Brian showed us a variety of vehicles in our budget and was very helpful, knowledgeable, checked off all our wants vs needs when it came to mileage, features, safety etc, and most importantly was not the least bit pushy. He empathized with where we were at and we felt so comfortable speaking with him, especially compared to other salesmen we were working with, that we decided to purchase the Jeep he had us test drive with him on the spot. Brian accompanied us on the test drives, one at a time due to the sleeping child in our current vehicle, and explained everything to us about the vehicle twice over, answered all our questions--even if redundant, and we could absolutely tell that he wanted us to find the best vehicle for us--not the best vehicle that would line his pockets with commission. And that's another thing--the sales team at Owatonna Ford doesn't work off commission, and it was absolutely apparent! To make a long story short they took two of our older vehicles in trade for a reasonable rate and put up with a then awake, hungry and pretty unhappy toddler as we did paperwork--even at one point providing fruit snacks that gave us 15 minutes of blessed relief. We had to drive home to get our remaining vehicle and return to take the newer Jeep home, but all in all it was a 3 hour process from us driving on the lot to look at vehicles to us driving our new (used) vehicle home. I can't recommend Brian Miller or Owatonna Motor Company enough. This was our first experience purchasing a vehicle non-private party and I'd absolutely return there in the future! More
