You get exceptional assistance from the Sales Department to the Service Department. This is my first occasion that I have bought a vehicle and feel good about having it serviced at the same location. Overall, the dealership has friendly sales staff, but I'm not to thrilled about their service department. I try to e-mail them because I'm in school all day long with very minimal time to actually call, and not to thrilled about their service department. My experience started with online searches for a used vw. The website for Waldorf Subaru Volkswagen was very easy to navigate and had great pictures of the vehicles available. With in a few minutes of sending an email that I was interested in a 2008 rabbit I received an email from Marvin letting me know the vehicle was still available and he was ready to help. I stopped in a few days later, unannounced, to see the vehicle. Marvin was not available so I spoke to Mike. Mike was less than helpful and didn't seem like he wanted to sell anything. I expressed how much I liked the car but I couldn't finance what they were asking for it. He might have spoken 10 words to me the entire 35 minutes I was there. I left feeling very disappointed and started searching for other vehicles. The next day I received another email from Marvin asking what happened and what he could do to help. I responded to him explaining my financial situation and asked if he had any suggestions. He called me the following day and said he was able to work some things out and get me more money for my trade in. I was ecstatic! I went the following day, calling ahead this time, Marvin met me in the parking lot with a big smile and firm handshake and within the hour I was driving off the lot in my new rabbit! Andre handled the financing for me, I had already been approved with Bank of America. He got me a better interest rate, was very informative and knowledgeable. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the customer service provided by Marvin and Andre. I hope Mike was just having a bad day and does not treat all his customers the way he handled me. More
The day before a trip out of country my check engine light came on. I called the dealership and they said they would check my Jetta as soon as I could get to the dealership. They had my car in the shop within 15 minutes of arriving at the dealership and had me on the road after replacing a sensor within about an hour. I really appreciated the quick and thoughtful service. I was really pushed for time preparing for a nearly 3 week business trip. What could have been a disaster to my schedule ended up being only a minor delay. More
Last year we had a bad experience with this dealer when my wife took the car in for warranty work. The service manager was horrible. I swore we would use another dealer in the future. It just so happened that the next time we needed service, it would be convenient to use Waldorf Volkswagen again. (We are 1 hour away and they are the closest VW dealer). I tried to contact the service manager and his email was returned undeliverable. After contacting the dealership, I was introduced to the new Service Manager and was assured by him that the dealer service had changed. To cut to the point, George Greenway (Service Manager) and Chris (Service Rep) both made our visit for our 40,000 mile check 100% better than we could have hoped. That is how it should be! Thanks to them. More
