Do not go to Ourisman Chevrolet of Marlow Heights or deal with Eddie(a sales manager) in particula This is the only 1 star review I have ever written. Do not go to Ourisman Chevrolet of Marlow Heights or deal with Eddie(a sales manager) in particular. When I came in and asked about the online price of a vehicle I was given an almost impossible, born on a leap day under a full moon, combination of requirements I had to meet to get this "aggressive pricing". When I actually managed to qualify for some of them as an Iraq War Veteran and educator, I was offered a deal Ourisman later refused to honor. This is despite confirming it twice in writing, because another manager said Eddie made up the wrong collection of difficult to qualify for rebates. When I came back in and asked to speak with the highest person at the dealership, Eddie came forward and lied saying it was him in an attempt to cover up his incompetence and prevent me speaking with the general manager. Only by directly asking another manager why I had been given the impression someone was senior to Eddie did I get a guilty look, and admission that there was in fact a GM. Anyway, the GM was still unwilling to "make it right" and told my pregnant wife and I we should just buy it at their price because it was a good enough deal. He told me he cared more about today's bottom line than any hit to Ourisman's reputation, proving their customer focus, or generating future business. I definitely did not buy a vehicle there and strongly recommend avoiding Ourisman. More

Caroline sent my wife home and told her to drive dont worry I sent my wife here to get the car checked out because it was running hot. I made an appointment to see a mechanic for that morning. Ourisman recept I sent my wife here to get the car checked out because it was running hot. I made an appointment to see a mechanic for that morning. Ourisman receptionist from service called me to confirm and patch me through to a service manager (Carolyn) to discuss specifics. I expressed that my car was running hot and I need it it fixed because it is our only car. We are having it towed in because it can not be driven. I also said my wife has Ms so I really need the car fixed and I need it seen soon so she can leave. She will be picking up me and the kids this afternoon. This is our only car. Carolyn said no problembi will take care of her and get her in see what is going on. My wife arrived, waited for a few minutes and the mechsnics went to take the car into the garage to take a look. Carolyn took it upon her self to connect the diagnostic machine to the car and prevent the mechanics from looking at it. Told my wife it isn't showing anything so we can do anything. Carolyn then told my wife to go home. My wife said but what about the bells and alarms I can drive and pick up my family while it is doing that? What if the car blows up? Carolyn said "You don't know nothing about cars it isn't going to blow up!" My asked "so just drive it! What if the alarms start going off just just drive and pick up my husband and kids while they are going off! Carolyn, told my no you'll be fine just bring it back tomorrow. As I said my wife has MUltiple Sclerosis, she was driving home and all the alarms started again but she had to pee because then it became additional stress. My wife had a body malfunction because she was already in the heat and the humidity and now the car is messed up making noises. When the alarms went off we called onstar. They asked why was she sent home my wife explained. My wife called Carolyn again told her what was going on, Carolyn said oh you are ok. Don't worry about that you can still pick up you family. Just bring it in in the morning. Then my wife called me. Told me everything I called Carolyn, told her that my car was supposed to be fixed already and we need a car so that my wife can come pick me and the kids up. Why did you send her home my water pump is out and when she brings it back I need my car to be fixed. Carolyn said "ok". My wife got home washed up and changed and ate. My wife tried to drive it back because Carolyn told her to drive back. The car then over heats again in a not so great area of SE Dc. My wife had to call 911 to get towed back to the Branch avenue Ourisman Chevrolet after sitting in the heat on the side of the road for 2.5 hours. As soon she gets there Carolyn is running outside to try to prevent her from talking to the GM or any other manager. Then without talking to me again they send my wife home in a Shuttle. I called to see what was going on. My wife told me she was in a shuttle. I got off the phone and called The Manager over the service department Donna. Donna said let's get everyone picked up because it is obviously too late for a car and your kids need to be picked up. So the shuttle picked up my wife again to go to the school and pick up the kids and myself from downtown dc. Now they want to add extra to the bill as if it is being seen for the first time. I just had an oil change a week ago. The want to charge me for that. Here my thing I am prior military so that is a discount I was going to get anyway. However now I am pissed. This is just the beginning of what needs to be done. Garbage for service until they have better checks and balances and get rid of Carolyn. More
