That unexpected extra. Mike in Mazda Service always does a great job, makes sure repairs are on-time, keeps me informed, and works out a fair price. Have to share this Mike in Mazda Service always does a great job, makes sure repairs are on-time, keeps me informed, and works out a fair price. Have to share this story: took my CX9 in for an oil change. I've had an intermittent rattle for over a year, but gave up trying to fix it. I didn't ask to have it fixed, BUT, the tech heard it, found it, and fixed it with a clamp. That's what I call caring. It's hard to build trust these days, but this is how you go about building it. He could have just completed the task on the worksheet. Nope. I am thankful. More

After two failed attempt to repair, Ourisman gave me a loaner and said I should contact Mazda USA myself. Ourisman has treated my entire situation with great care and sensitivity. They extended the use of their loaner car while I deal with Mazda corporate. As far as customer service goes, Ourisman in Rockville is top notch, while Mazda corporate customer service is terrible. Rather than immediately issue a refund for the defective battery, chuck devault, the service manager, said that I would need to go through the "mazda warranty" on the battery to get my money back. I wasted a half day having my car towed from ourisman, and now have to sue them to get my money back. The problem was easily fixed when far east motors of silver spring installed a non defective battery. Skip the arrogance and incompetence at ourisman, and go to far east motors. I dealt with pj and chuck devault at ourisman. They were always very difficult to reach -- the automated system forces you to talk to many people before you get the one you actually asked for., Even paying them was a nightmare (20 minute wait). I wish that I had not paid them before checking to make sure the battery worked, but I had to to get the key. The Maryland attorney general's office should be investigating the business practices at ourisman. More

They claim that they are not responsible for any damages that occurred. On Wednesday July 10, 2013, I dropped my car at the Ourisman Collision Center for a core support repair, they said it would take about one week. On Wednesday July 17, I received a call that my car had been stolen and given one version of events. I went to the shop on Thursday July 18, and was told a different version. According to the manager some one had removed a pane of glass from the bay door, opened the shop and walked through all the bays, about 4 or so, and found my Mini without a bumper. My keys were not left in the vehicle, but were placed on the techs tool box. When the car was driven out of the shop, they closed the bay door and replaced the glass that they had removed. This happened some time Tuesday July 16. I got another surprise the next evening when I arrived home and found letter from D.C. Police Hit & Run Unit. My Mini was involved in a hit & run accident the night of Sunday July 14. I emailed a copy of the police report to Ourisman and called them the next day. They took a very long time responding to my email. Late in the day they sent an email to my insurance company and yet another story had been conjured up.The general manager claims that because there was another Red Mini S parked outside of shop doors, they assumed it was mine and went about their business. There were, however, differences between the two vehicles and, had they looked, they would have realized that the bumper was intact on that Mini where as mine was completely off the vehicle. Also, the hood is very different on the other Mini. My car was driven 114 miles after it was dropped off at the dealer but when it was found it was not more than 20 miles from Rockville in N.E. DC. Also the shop claimed car could not be driven far. I guess this was an incredible Mini. I am writing this to just warn people and make them aware that this is in the realm of possibilities and to always check on the liability policies when dropping off the car. According to consumer Affairs in Montgomery county the standard under the law is they should take reasonable care of your vehicle. They don't have to have alarms, lock boxes were they keep keys or cameras, so leaving keys is dangerous. You need to prove beyond a doubt that they were negligent. There is no protection, as a consumer, so I ask is this correct? I was lucky I have an amazing insurance company, and gold plated policy, they were great. But not all have this. More
Had excellent experience getting my VW Jetta TDI 2010 serviced at this dealership. They know what they are doing, and follow the procedures in doing the service work! They fixed the issue which the serviced at this dealership. They know what they are doing, and follow the procedures in doing the service work! They fixed the issue which the other VW dealership (Darcars Silverspring) couldnt fix it. They offered a shuttle service and pick up, kept me well informed about what is going on. Would definitely recommend their service department if you are looking at meticulous work and keeping you updated on the status of the work. -Vishnu More
Last year I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from this dealership and have been going through so much turmoil ever since. Honestly, I love my vehicle but I wish I never purchased anything from this t this dealership and have been going through so much turmoil ever since. Honestly, I love my vehicle but I wish I never purchased anything from this terrible dealership and never ever would purchase another vehicle here. I understand a car is going to have issues but every other month there is something wrong with my CX-9 and it's always a struggle with the horrible service department to get it looked at. Every time I bring my vehicle in for service they tell me the problem which I am having doesn't exist when in fact it does! Last year my truck while driving would frequently jerk. When I bought it into service they told me they didn't feel it and nothing was wrong. Since the guy that works there is one of the "top" Mazda technicians in the country I was suppose to believe that. They supposedly plugged my CX-9 up to the computer and couldn't find anything wrong. As soon as I took it to a Sharett Mazda in Hagerstown they told me it was a misfire in my engine almost instantly. Every time I have to bring my vehicle in to get service done I always get a filthy vehicle back with my gas light always on empty when it wasn't given to them like that. They always like to tell me they don't have loaner cars but when I bought the car my sales consultant made sure he mentioned they do offer loaner cars. This dealership is the worst. The service people love to talk to you like your nothing. For all the shoppers out there I would really think twice before coming to this dealership. They are nice until you purchase the car and roll off the lot, once its time to be fruitful of the so called benefits they offer for buying from them its a different story. Right now my CX-9 is getting serviced by them and today Frank harassed me and told me I better bring his car "loaner car" back by tomorrow because he promised it to someone else. At first he told me they didn't have loaner cars and now he is harassing me to bring it back because apparently the next customer is more important than me. This has been the WORST buying experience of my life and because of it not only will I never buy another vehicle from Congressional Motors but I don't even want another Mazda just because of their service. Tomorrow, my Mazda CX9 will make 2 weeks in the services shop, expecting a part. There was a lot of water in the AC tubes. I am waiting for a new blowout motor or whatever name of the engine inside these a shop, expecting a part. There was a lot of water in the AC tubes. I am waiting for a new blowout motor or whatever name of the engine inside these air vents. The explanation from services: " avoid turning on recirculation of air in the AC when it is raining, it sucks water in." SERIOUSLY? I don't even know what is worse: a management that allows cars sitting idle for 2 weeks among the inventory, the lack of parts and planning for the parts, the horrible explanation that it is either plain wrong or an apology for Mazda poor design. Can I turn on the car when it is raining? LOL The price: more than $500 for opening + more than $600 for the motor. I am so disgusted that I am almost cutting my losses, selling the car and get a Honda, maybe an Accura. I am very patient with mistakes, and this is the first online review I write, but it Is disgusting. More
