I just purchased my Passat and needed service for the first time. Even before I brought the car into the dealership, The customer service over the telephone was awesome. He provided constant updates on the progress of work and issues that would come up, and also gave a cost breakdown for every job performed. I will continue to bring my vehicle to Congressional Motors as long as Jose is there!!! More

Being extremely knowledgeable in his field, Mr. LaSanta informed me of all the things that I had covered under my warranty, where I could find the best deal, and gave me a detailed explanation of what was wrong with my car. Although I’m completely automobile-illiterate, he was able to explain to me what was wrong with my car in a way that I could understand. Additionally, he informed me that he put in long hours daily and I was impressed at how gregarious he was even that late in the day. More
Jose is an awesome service technician. He let's me know what to expect for my next visit and how much it will cost. He is always courteous and is sensitive of my time. If the work to be done is going to take awhile, he assists in helping me rent a car for the day. Depending on the service to be done (aka 5k mile, or 40k mile), it can get expensive at this dealership. On the plus side, they do offer "the fifth", which is the fifth oil change is free. In addition, they offer coupons for the services through their website, snail mail, and e-mail. The coupons help lower the costs. Finally, after each service, Jose ensures that my car is washed and cleaned before returning it to me. :-D I highly recommend the service department at Congressional and try to get Jose as your technician if you can. More
I have always recommended this dealer for my VW as well as my Mazda. The employees are friendly and understanding. Work is accomplished on schedule. During my visit with mazda i did not know what was wrong with my car they found the problem and was able to fix it in a timely manner. The service at Congressional VW is outstanding, you can even schedule online and they are very good about returning your call. For the most part, I have been pleased with the service that I have received. The dealership has been accommodating to my needs and has treated me with the utmost respect. Their prices are relatively reasonable (for VW parts) and their labor is cheaper than the other dealerships that I have contacted in the area. When I lived in Laurel, I still drove to Congressional because of their service and prices. Dustin Craver and his team of technicians made my last visit to the shop enjoyable – checking to make sure that my car truly needed the service and only fixing the parts that needed to be fixed (I went in for brake work). Not only did he change it for free because he discovrered it was still under guarantee --which I did not know--, but he made sure the dealership gave me and my son --who was wearing a simple short, having just played a rugby game--a ride back home. I recommand this dealer, and Allen Krum especially, to anybody. More

When I bought my car at this dealership 3 years ago, I was not happy with the sales person. There were outstanding issues with the vehicle and he failed to remedy promised items once the car left the lot. was not happy with the sales person. Recently, I was having transmission issues and the Mazda dealer close to where I live was giving me the run-around saying it was my fault and I used the wrong 'BRAND" of fluid, which was crap. Although I was hesitate to deal with Congressional again, I am SO HAPPY that I did!!!! Rich was fabulous! He dealt with the warranty company and got them to replace the entire transmission AND pay for my rental car. I also needed new tires and he honored the cheapest price I could find elsewhere!! He absolutely made up for the bad salesman that I dealt with years ago. Congressional is a little bit out of my way, but with the experience I had this go around, it's definitely worth the hassle.
