My boyfriend and I definitely shopped around the Virginia / Maryland area for our next car. We had two cars to trade in which was a challenge for some dealerships to manage. Also, trading in two cars - at other dealerships - provided an opportunity for the dealerships to lowball us on the trade-in value. Congressional was different. Congressional was professional, friendly, and quick. We knew what we wanted and were willing to wait until the numbers made sense to us. Victor, our salesman, was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and honest. When we were done with the initial details with Victor we were passed off to Jay and after dealing with such an amazing employee with Victor I was nervous the caliber of employee would drop. You can’t have two extremely amazing people, can you? Well, Congressional does. Jay was funny, detail oriented, quick, and knowledgeable. After all the paperwork was finished and we were out the door with our new car I was inclined to hug both Victor and Jay. They both felt like friends by the end. We got the price we wanted, the experience we craved, and the customer service that I thought wasn't possible anymore. Congressional was fantastic and I’ll be screaming their praise from the roof tops. More

I was very happy with the service. We got a fair price and everybody we dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable. I bought a Used VW from Shannon at Congressional Motors. Shannon was easy to work with, showing us the cars in stock that we were interested in and explaining the cars features during our test drive. The dealership accepted our quote from Carmax for the trade-in of my previous vehicle, and we quickly came to a reasonable offer on the vehicle without hassle. Purchasing the vehicle was also quite straight forward, and Dana went over all the available options for the car (warranty packages, etc). Both Shannonand Dana were very personable. Before we left, Shannon took us on a tour of the service department, and guided us through syncing my bluetooth with the car and explaining other features. I would recommend Congressional motors for a purchase of a VW. More

My girlfriend and I worked with Victor. He immediately came out to greet us when he saw we were interested in a new 2010 CX-7. He was able to get a great feel for what we wanted pretty quickly. Price was our top factor in deciding from which Mazda to buy. Throughout the entire process, Victor was courteous and professional and eager to explain all the incentives in our particular deal. Not only did Congressional match our Carmax quotes, they even came back before we signed the documents to tell us about 2 other incentives and that we would be receiving an additional $1k off the price of the vehicle. I was extremely pleased with this transaction. It took us only three hours to trade in two vehicles (at a very fair trade-in value) and purchase another. Victor was one of the most straightforward and friendly sales associates I have ever worked with. I would definitely recommend Congressional to any potential car buyer and Victor to anyone looking for knowledgeable and courteous service. Bottom line, we shopped around the area at different Mazda dealerships and Congressional offered the lowest price with the most money for our trade-ins. We also dealt with only 2 (very friendly) people the entire time, Victor for our sale, Jay for our close/financing. Couldn't have asked for anything easier. More

We had an excellent experience, purchasing (my very first) car from Ray tonight. It was a long time we were evaluating different options and Mazda definitely was one of my first choices. However, I only had seen the car in a car show and my final decision was not made. We absolutely had no plan to finalize any deals tonight, because by the time we got to the Congressional it was very late at night (almost about an hour before closing). Nevertheless, these were all before Ray's welcoming approach (and meeting one of the best AND nicest sale persons I have ever met). I would describe Ray as an extremely professional and sharp person, very knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant and REAL. One of the high qualities (and sorry to say, but rare in his business) that made me feel happier about having this business with them was his sincerity and his open face. He does not make the customer feel any pressure, while he does respond to all questions and requests graciously. He helped us to find the right car for me, with a great patient. They had all the models I liked to try in their inventory, so he took time to let me drive them all, and I even went back and forth and drove 1 or 2 cars more than once (even though they had to close and we were the last customers). During the whole time, he was extremely helpful, supportive and understanding of my needs and requests, without pressure toward any specific choice; he put me at ease to take my time and make the right decision, with the best help I could have expected. I don't think there is a need to mention; I obviously recommend Ray to everybody who read my comment and to my friends/family. He is wonderful in what he does and he is a real genuine person.
