I'm compelled to share my experience with Oursiman Jeep of Bethesda, and if there were a no-star rating, I would choose that. This dealership engages in predatory practices, particularly towards women, and of Bethesda, and if there were a no-star rating, I would choose that. This dealership engages in predatory practices, particularly towards women, and allows their finance team to forge signatures. They pressure customers into deals and refuse to address their own mistakes. I purchased a vehicle and, within the first two months, experienced stress cracks in the fenders that required replacement. Instead of addressing the issue properly, Daniel A. and Jon P. from the service center sent my brand-new truck to a third party that didn’t even color match the repairs. My concerns were consistently ignored, and I felt sidelined. I reached out to Chrysler and Jeep Wave for assistance, but it took weeks of calls to get any response from the dealership or their service center. Imagine spending so much on a truck only to face a simple warranty issue and receiving this kind of treatment. I have all the text messages that reflect the disrespect I encountered. It’s alarming how much the tone changed when a male representative contacted them; their responsiveness seemed to improve dramatically. But the worst part was the finance team’s handling of my contract. After spending an entire evening at the dealership finalizing my purchase, just before leaving for a trip, I was shocked when the finance representative asked me for more money. I had already reviewed the contract multiple times and paid everything due. To then be told to pay more felt like a breach of trust. This finance person ultimately forged my signature, removed the added options, and canceled my subscriptions as retaliation. I later learned that he was fired for similar issues with other clients. Recently, I contacted them regarding a paint issue, expecting my Smart Shield coverage to apply. Instead, I discovered the extent of the mess they had created and was told I was responsible for fixing it. When I visited the dealership to present my contract, they claimed they had no record of it. Larry Payne insisted on upholding a clearly forged signature, all while I was out of the country. He asked me to “make it make sense,” which only added to the disrespect I faced. Would I ever buy another Jeep or do business with Oursiman Jeep of Bethesda? Absolutely not! Save yourself the time and trouble that comes with their flaky, predatory business practices. More

When negotiation was almost finished the person in charge of the paperworks tried to include a 10 year warranty for almost USD4000. In addition, they were extremely bad in sending all the software applications.and giving me the car. More

They add in “destination fee” that is included in the window sticker and provide false information to the client in order to dupe them. Beware of this dealership, read over your paperwork and if an issue such as taxes and selling price does not match, ask about it!! It means there are “fees” added to vehicle price. More
I am only writing this after multiple weeks of trying to get in touch with someone at the dealership to cancel my warranty. Unable to get anyone in financing or management on the phone. Emailed, left voicem get in touch with someone at the dealership to cancel my warranty. Unable to get anyone in financing or management on the phone. Emailed, left voicemails, no response. I even tried to contact the GM on LinkedIn. After years of hard work I came to this dealership to finally purchase the car I have wanted since I was 12. A new vehicle purchase should be a straightforward process, with few surprises or negotiation issues. Unfortunately, the choose to operate with 0 integrity every step of the way. They refused outright to negotiate on financing. I assume this is because they knew there was extremely limited nationwide inventory for the Wrangler I wanted. They also conveniently chose a lender which has no branches in the state of Maryland. For the extended warranty, I asked for details on exactly what was covered and in what situations the warranty would apply. They lied to my face on multiple counts. This is not a case of them using ambiguous language - they explicitly gave me false information to get the warranty sale. In addition to lying about the extended warranty, they failed on multiple accounts to honor the standard warranty that comes with any new vehicle and covers 100% of both the powertrain and any manufacturer caused defects. Went in for my first oil change at 3k miles and the service department tried to bill me, even though I have Jeep Wave (first 3 oil changes are free). Were they hoping I would just forget. I also asked them to check a rattling sound that was coming from the vehicle. Without asking any follow up questions they said that would not be covered by the warranty. They quoted me $400 in labor and assumed I was at fault before even accessing the vehicle. This is a brand new 2021 vehicle with 3k miles on it and they are not interested in taking responsibility for a potential mechanical issue. Its been driven around the city for a few months and had 0 accidents. How or why would I have caused a mechanical issue? Most of this would have been entirely forgiven if they had just let me cancel the warranty. All this dealer had to do was show a minimal level or respect and integrity to earn a longtime customer. I love Jeeps, after a year I would have traded up to a hybrid and then some. They decided to book the small, short term profit instead. More
CAR CONSUMERS BE AWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIPS'S SALES PRACTICES. On 03/25/2021 I made an online inquiry about an in-transit 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that appeared on their website with an MSRP of $8 PRACTICES. On 03/25/2021 I made an online inquiry about an in-transit 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that appeared on their website with an MSRP of $85,020. I was almost immediately contacted by their sales representative Dawit Hagos. I explained to Dawit that there were two other SRTs at other dealers I had as purchase options (#1 MSRP $82,975 OTD @ $77,000; #2 MSRP $84,265 OTD $78,300). Both units remain publicly available online including the discount pricing. I advised Dawit I would be willing to pay the same price cash out the door ("OTD") comparably adjusted based on the MSRP. Dawit advised he would speak with his manager. Dawit contacted me back within minutes offering a $82,500 purchase price to which I advised him that absent the comparable pricing I wasn't interested. I furthermore advised Dawit that I had an affiliate pricing voucher that would afford me a price of 1% under dealer invoice if that was of any benefit to the dealership fully realizing that the price I was seeking was below affiliate pricing requiring the dealership to utilize some of their holdback. Again, Dawit advised me that he would speak with his manager. Dawit contacted me back again within minutes advising me that his manager had approved an $80,000 purchase price. I specifically asked Dawit if the $80,000 included all dealer fees to which he replied that it was all-inclusive of all dealer fees. I would be financially responsible for the Florida sales tax (where I live), the Florida tag/registration/title, and the transportation of the vehicle to Florida. Based upon Dawit's representation's I agreed to the $80,000 all in price. Dawit wanted to write up the deal at that time but considering it was almost 7pm I suggested we do the paperwork the next morning. Dawit and I had a couple of email communications to detail the process and contact information. On 03/26/2021 Dawit sent me a credit application to which I replied reminding him I was paying cash. I was then advised that because the vehicle was in transit they would/could not do any sales contract with me until the vehicle had been delivered to the dealership which was anticipated as possibly late April. This made me somewhat suspicious and concerned. Acting upon my concerns/suspicions I emailed Dawit the details of our agreement in an effort to memorialize the details and avoid any potential conflicts. I can tell you I am glad I did act upon my concerns/suspicions. Within minutes of that email I was contacted by a representative that identified themselves as the new car sales manager. This "manager" hostilely advised me in no uncertain terms that there was "no deal" nor any agreement that he would be willing to put into writing with me as the vehicle was only in-transit. He boldly stated that if he has a "local buyer" when the vehicle gets delivered to the dealership that "will pay more money for the vehicle" he "will sell it to them". I quickly replied that I wasn't interested in dealing with a dealership that would act in that fashion of business. The conversation quickly devolved into the "manager" referencing to me as "BRO". I quickly advised this "manager" I was not his "BRO" and he will not address me in that thug like fashion. He attempted to falsely accuse me of using a "curse word" to which he refused to identify what exactly was the "curse word". Regardless, I wasn't having any part of it with this obviously hostile individual that was in my opinion most unprofessional. I demanded to be transferred to the store's GM, Justin Reed. In speaking with Justin, who was very polite, courteous and professional, I was advised that he couldn't imagine how Dawit gave me $80,000 in pricing as it would have to have been cleared by him and he had not done so. Justin advised me he would inquire and get back to me. Justin contacted me within minutes. Justin advised me that Dawit was telling him that I was quoted $80,310 as the affiliate pricing and that I would need to pay additional dealer fees. Justin continued to suggest/infer that I had improperly failed to consider these additional fees to which I explained to Justin quite the contrary. I was very specific to make 100% certain the pricing was all-inclusive of all fees. Based upon this entire situation I opted not to purchase the vehicle and advised Justin I would be providing this negative feedback on my experience with his dealership. I would highly recommend that unless this dealership is selling unicorns, and you really need that specific unicorn, find your unicorn at another Jeep dealership. This one simply doesn't meet acceptable professional standards in my humble opinion. They only bring shame and confirms the worst of car dealership behavior - again, this is in my most humble opinion. More
