Unscheduled Service Visit I showed up at the dealer @ 7:30am for an oil change. The customer service representative informed me that the wait time would be over 2 hours. She recommended for faster service to go online and make an appointment. I did, come back st 3:30pm and was out in an hour. I appreciated that Hyundai recognized the value of my time. I love my Hyundai Team!!! More
The service writer said one hour and it was one hour. Arrived at dealer one and half hours early. They took me in right away.. The service writer said my recall would take a hour. From salesmen or women to management, service dept, admin dept, to maintenance dept all have been superb encounters. I can’t stress enough about the great service I received. Usually I receive excellent service from Hyundai Bowie I was very disappointed with the service. Not sure they can be trusted anymore. I didn't even get a complimentary wash like everyone else who was serviced on the same day I was serviced. So I was rear ended back in December. I had my vehicle fixed and then took my vehicle to Hyundai of Bowie for and oil change. During this servicing I was told I needed an alignment. I didn't think much of it at the time. My vehicles BDS system was acting up as a result of the accident and I took it back to the collision center (hyundai affiliated) where they needed to take it apart recently. They fixed my vehicle and everything was great. I took my vechile back to Hyundai of Bowie for an oil change on March 28th. I also threw in the alignment thinking I still needed one based on their recommendation. Hyundai of Bowie stated they aligned the front of my vehicle and couldn't do the back because I needed a subframe. They wanted $1600. So I called the collision center back thinking the alignment issue was apart of the accident damage and they might have missed it the first two times they had by vehicle. This was also recommended by Hyundai of Bowie. How about the collision center had proof that my car was not out of alignment when they gave me back my vehicle recently. I haven't had it back long and I haven't hit anything so now I'm stuck wondering why my vehicle is out of alignment. I'm wondering if they servicer did something to my vehicle. I've NEVER had issues with this dealership, but they have lost my trust and I will NOT be returning. The old advisors were much more pleasant and friendly. The cashiers dont have a friendly demeanor. Now I am left to wonder what state my vehicle is in and a possible $1600 bill. I'm also wondering if my oil was changed, if the cabin filter was changed or if they even aligned the front of my vehicle. My trust is completely GONE. I dont recommend these new folks. More

Service Department Service gets worse & worse each time I go, Lots of employee turnover. Probably made my last appointment there. In addition, the dealership was out of coffee cups for those waiting. I'm not a coffee drinker but an employee could have gone to the CVS two minutes down the road & purchased them. Told by another customer they were out the last time she was there also. More
Another Lemon This is my second Hyundai Tucson from Ourisman Hyundai of Bowie and I cannot not have another bad engine!!! The engine went bad on my Hyundai Tucson 2012 in four years. They put a refurbished one in it and that went bad immediately. The service department could not figure out what was wrong with it so I got a new Hyundai Tucson 2016. On my way to work this morning (08/11/2017); the “engine over heat” light came on. What is going on now? My Hyundai experience has been a total nightmare. It is currently at the Hyundai dealership in (Laurel Maryland) the service department. Hyundai road assist would not take it to my home dealership Hyundai of Bowie even though it was in the 25 limits. After keeping the car all day they decided the water pump and gasket is gone in just one year. Today is Friday and they said my car will be ready maybe Tuesday. They also say it may have engine damage due to over heating. Plus they are making me contribute to the rental car and all of this is under warranty. They put me in an awful little rental car that is falling apart. This is the way Oursiman Hyundai of Bowie and Laurel treats their customers. They are family but they say they are different. This is an awful company and they are not customer oriented. I feel extremely unsafe in Hyundai vehicles. I will go to anyone who will listen. Lemon Law. Marcus is usually very kind and helpful so I hope to get this resolved soon. More
