Well, Brian made the difference. He gave an estimate on the time it would take, updated her during the service and had the service completed BEFORE she thought it would be done. Oil change and tire rotation I visited the dealreship for the first time to service my new 2016 Honda HRV for its first oil change and tyre rotation. On arrival: no body came I visited the dealreship for the first time to service my new 2016 Honda HRV for its first oil change and tyre rotation. On arrival: no body came to me. I waited for a while and I had to go to one of the windows and ask for help. I went with appointment and was told that told it may take 2 to 3 hrs to complete. In the end I had to wait for 3.5 hrs. And the car was not washed because I was told that if I want the wash I would have waited longer. After all done and I start driving home, I noticed that the tyre pressure indicator is on. I was couriers and stopped by to a nearby autoshop and checked the tyres. The standard for the HRV is 32psi, but the tyres were loaded to 36 and 33 for the rear tyres and 34 and 33 for the front tyres. What a day to spend for just a regular oil change and tyre rotation. More

Ladies beware I am a 75 year old woman who went to get an oil change at Tyson's Honda and was told that my 4 year old Accord with less than 20,000 miles on it neede I am a 75 year old woman who went to get an oil change at Tyson's Honda and was told that my 4 year old Accord with less than 20,000 miles on it needed more than $700 in other work such as changing the transmission fluid and brake fluid. I assumed that they were truthful experts but subsequently learned that I had been misled. Don't visit Honda of Tyson's Corner unless you have someone to advise and protect you from their "service advisors." More

He was also incompetent in that he was unaware that the brake problem he diagn The sales rep we dealt with was unfriendly, especially toward my wife. He was also incompetent in that he was unaware that the brake problem he diagnosed, which had an estimated repair cost of $950.00, was actually covered by a recall notice. If I had not researched the issue online, I would've paid the entire cost of the repair. After calling the national number for the American Honda Motor Co., ((888) 234-2138) I confirmed that the repair was covered by a December 2010 recall notice. I then called the Tysons Corner Honda service department to explain that the repair should be covered. I was told that most of the repair was covered but that I'd still owe $200 because it was not fully covered. There was no apology for missing the issue and when I specifically asked why we were not told that the problem was covered by a recall, the service representative said "it's an old notice and I didn't realize you could get it fixed." He then reminded me to change my brake fluid more regularly, as if that was really the problem. This type of begrudging service is precisely what people hate about getting their cars repaired. It breeds mistrust and dissatisfaction not just with the service department but the entire organization. More
