David took the time to ask the right questions and get to know what we were looking for before servicing our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed his professionalism and the fact that he was attentive to our requests. David went above and beyond to find the perfect vehicle for our family while providing THE BEST car shopping experience we have ever had! Tyson’s of Honda is a top notch dealership with a one of a kind salesman. We highly recommend David to any and all friends and family who are looking for a vehicle and a smooth shopping experience. We will be coming back to this dealership in the future. Chris and Geraldine Humphrey More

I visited three other Honda dealers before stopping by Tysons. The first three dealerships (Fairfax, Koons, and Dulles) were clowns. I waited at Koons for about 15 minutes before someone even came out t Tysons. The first three dealerships (Fairfax, Koons, and Dulles) were clowns. I waited at Koons for about 15 minutes before someone even came out to help, even though it was around 1pm on a weekday with no other customers in sight. I called Dulles before even going there and had an appointment. When I showed up (on time) the receptionist said that the guy was still at lunch and would have his "floor partner" help me. I explained everything on the phone and had to take another 10 minutes to now explain it again. Fairfax, which is 3 miles from my house and where I planned on purchasing and servicing, was even worse. Can you believe that the consultant asked me to fill out a credit application before test-driving??? I know that I look young, but I'm almost 40 years old and could pay cash for the Civic I was looking for, if I had to. I stopped by Honda of Tysons on a Sunday after doing some other shopping in the area. I was greeted in the parking lot about 45 seconds after getting out of my car. The guy introduced himself as the General Manager, Mike Walker. We walked inside and he had the exact vehicle pulled around the front of the dealership as he explained the vehicle to me in detail and also explained all of their current programs and specials. While on the showroom, he introduced me to both sales managers (Azmi and Larry) and the finance manager (Arti). Everyone seemed genuinely interested in helping me. I was then introduced to a sales consultant named Mo, who took my daughter and I on a test drive. You could immediately tell that Mo knew a lot about the vehicles and also how to treat clients. When we came back from the test drive Mike Walker came right back over and sat down and personally went over all of the numbers to make sure that I was completely comfortable. While we were looking at the numbers, I look over and my daughter is sitting behind the sales managers desk playing on their computer with Azmi and Larry. She was having a blast. These guys get it. We made the deal and scheduled to pick up the car in a few days. When I arrived on the day to pick up the car, it was detailed and sitting out front ready to go. I walked in and was greeted by Mike Walker and the Finance Manager, Arti. They had everything prepared and was extremely patient while I reviewed all of the documents. I was in and out within 25 minutes. At which point Mo took over and went over everything on the vehicle to make sure that I knew how to operate everything. Before I pulled off, Mike came back over to check on me. I can honestly say that that they earned a customer for life and I will drive right by my local dealer eveyday and know that I made a great decision. They have earned a customer for life and I have already referred three people in to see them. More
Mohamed was incredible! He knew the car inside and out, provided no pressure, and made me feel completely comfortable. The manager I dealt with was a bit difficult at first but then came around. The pric provided no pressure, and made me feel completely comfortable. The manager I dealt with was a bit difficult at first but then came around. The prices at this dealership are worse than any other dealership, but I was able to negotiate a price a felt comfortable with. It was important for me to ensure Mohamed got the commission he deserved. He is the best salesperson I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. More
I was very wary of the buying process and dealerships, so I thought AAA truecar benefit would come in handy because they supposedly provide a guranteed price. Well, they did provide a good price but none of I thought AAA truecar benefit would come in handy because they supposedly provide a guranteed price. Well, they did provide a good price but none of the three dealers who contacted me actually honored the price. They all added more than $700-2000 for dealer added equipment beyond the base price of the car. I was in the process of negotiating the price with them over email, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. Then I decided to call Mohamed Ameyar at Rosenthal , who had let me test drive the vehicle a week back. Within a minute I decided to buy the car from him, had the car in my driveway the next day. Mohamed made the buying process very straight forward and easy, gave me the best price which basically actually matched my truecar price. He also knew the features in the car in and out, and showed me everything in detail. He was also very knowledegable and helpful during the test drive. The financing process with Michael Russell was pretty smooth too. Overall a positive car buying experience. More

So.... I was in the market for a new smaller SUV to replace my trusty Honda Civic, and to match my Brother's Honda Pilot. Well, its smaller than Pilot, but still, its an SUV, so they match. A couple of replace my trusty Honda Civic, and to match my Brother's Honda Pilot. Well, its smaller than Pilot, but still, its an SUV, so they match. A couple of my friends suggested that, along with other dealers, I should check out Tyson's Honda too. Thought, "Why Not?!" I am shopping around so might as well give them a chance too. Now bear in mind that between my home and Tyson's Corner Honda, there are at the very least 3 Honda dealerships. So, I email Tyson's Honda, a very nice lady, Pooja Kaur gets back to me. Asked me what I am looking for, when I am going to buy, where it will be registered, the usual questionnaire. No problem there. I gave her the details, she got back to me and told me the price. I asked her for the Out of the Door (OTD) price, she responded with the OTD price. I email her back saying that the price quoted is higher than I want to spend, I thanked her and told her that I will wait until the prices come down. She came back and explained to me the price break-down, and told me that if I am still interested, I can let her know. Well and good. No problem so far. The next day, Pooja emailed me back asking what time I want to come in. I emailed her back telling her if she can do 28,000 OTD, I can come back the same day. I got an email back from Jeff Riddle, saying, "No problem. We close at 7pm, so as long as you are here by 6:30 we will do $28,000 OTD." (Direct quote from the email that he sent). Now that email came at 5:50pm. I emailed him back and told him that I will be coming from Germantown MD, so I will be there by 6:45 pm. So, I am on my way, I got an email back from Jeff saying, "It is $28,000 out the door in Virginia, not Maryland. If you are trying to be 28k out the door in MD, we are no where close." (Direct quote from the email he sent). Now one should ask Jeff, did he even read the whole correspondence between me and Pooja?? Or did he just saw an oppertunity of another sale for the day?!? Anyways, I was half the way to Tysons when I saw that email. I emailed him back saying, "Dont worry about it. Thank you for wasting my time." (again, direct quote from my email). He replies back, "It's our pleasure. :)".... Really?!?!?!? WOW!! So, I emailed him back saying that I will me leaving a review here, on Dealerrater.com, and to Honda directly, because he might think its funny, I dont share the same humor. This is what he replies back, "If you want to contact Honda and Dealer Rater thats up to you if it makes you feel better, it still won't get you at $28k out the door in Md. In fact, I am not sure what good you think that will do? You know that price is not possible or you would have already purchased one at your local Md Honda dealer. I would probably try to help you out and get you close to $28k out the door in MD if it was not for your threatning tone. You won't get anywhere with any dealer acting like this..." Ummm... yeah... keep it up like that Jeff.... Customers that are willing to spend money at your dealership REALLY love to be treated like that. So, in summary, Pooja was great and very courteous. Jeff on the other hand, not so much. All of the quotes above are from the whole email chain, in case Honda cares about its customers and want to see the emails that went back and forth. Tysons Honda might be a great dealership, but Jeff Riddle aint the reason for that. ** EDIT ** I just read the response from the dealership and couldnt help chuckle.Funny that instead of admitting that their Sales Manager Jeff was rude and disrespectful, they are calling me a kid or a spammer or what not. Is Jeff responding to this review?!?! Well, make it sound what you want, but Mike, the General Manager of Tysons Honda and Lance, the Zone Sales Manager of Honda, got involved. If I was a kid or a spammer, I wouldnt have bothered writing this detailed review or dug out the email address of your VP of Sales to submit a complain about this incident. Also, I got a private message from the dealership asking me to either remove or rewrite this review. This is the quote from the message I received, "But this is not a review, it is slander defemation and personal. It is the type of discussion that should be kept private between the two parties. You should do a little research on the internet about business/personal slander/negative reviews and defemation before choosing to post something like this on the internet." More
