I had contacted the dealership online and received prompt response from Ms. Tetiana and from Amine at the showroom. Experienced prompt, courteous and "non pressure" service. I was given a written price quote response from Ms. Tetiana and from Amine at the showroom. Experienced prompt, courteous and "non pressure" service. I was given a written price quote without any hesitation and went in after a week to finalize the purchase. Overall a very satisfying experience at the dealership. Anil K. Kappadath More
All the professionals that were part of the purchasing process were very professional and helpful (both sales persons, the sales manager and the finance manager). They offered great guidance and a generou process were very professional and helpful (both sales persons, the sales manager and the finance manager). They offered great guidance and a generous amount of information that contribute to close the deal, and then to technically understand the car features. I would like also to add that the True Price system strongly contributed to a hassle free experience. More
I had a great experience signing my new lease agreement for the 2013 Honda Civic LX. I was contacted by Mary Gerrety regarding my 2010 lease term coming up and she invited me in to discuss signing for a n for the 2013 Honda Civic LX. I was contacted by Mary Gerrety regarding my 2010 lease term coming up and she invited me in to discuss signing for a new vehicle three months early and that the dealership would take care of my remaining payments. Mohammed was very informative and friendly. He walked me through the new features on the 2013 model and took me on a test drive. He understood where I needed to be with the monthly payment and did not pressure me. I appreciate that he took the time to help me set up my phone with the Bluetooth and guide me with the information needed in transitioning from being a DC resident to recently moving to VA. As a single female, I was recommended to always go through the process at a dealership with my father, boyfriend, or male friend. However, I went through the process by myself and think it went great. They provided me with clear answers and also helped lower the monthly payment. Previously, I was an account manager for Cars.com from 2007 to 2010 and spent lots of time in dealerships throughout northern VA and MD. I know not every dealership is this helpful. I am happy with my new car and appreciate the support given at Honda of Tysons. More
I just purchased a Honda Odyssey EX-L from Honda of Tysons Corner and had a great experience. Tahir was very friendly and listened to what I had to say. He worked with his sales manager, Khalil Azmi, Tysons Corner and had a great experience. Tahir was very friendly and listened to what I had to say. He worked with his sales manager, Khalil Azmi, to give me a great price on the van and top dollar on my trade in and this was done all in their first offer....FIRST OFFER!!!. There was no painful back and forth negotiating as I did the weekend before at another dealership. Their "True Price" progam honostly save 3+ hours of my life by not having to negotiate the new car price and the trade-in value to reach the final price I was willing to pay. Khalil put the final touches on the offer and I accepted. But this is not where they stopped. Tahir and Khalil went out of there way for me and my family even after they had my sale. Since my wife didn't accompany me to the dealership this time, because we didn't want to drag our two young children to another dealership, Tahir drove to my house for my wife to fill out the necessary paperwork for our purchase, so my wife didn't have to "pack up" the kids and come in to sign some forms. This again save my family hours of time and was suggested by Tahir to make it easier for us. Plus he was great with my kids! He gave 3 year old daughter a personalized lesson on how to operate certain functions of the new van, which she loved and loves to teach her mother and I how to do. All-in-all Tahir and Khalil saved half of my weekend just by the way they do business and by being the people they are. This was by far the best car buying experience I ever had. I felt I was over a friend's house instead of being at a car dealership. More
Did my research prior to coming in to the dealership. Saw the price of the 2013 Civic on Cars.com and knew all about the redesign and new standard equipment. Truly incredible. What was really mindblowing was the price of the 2013 Civic on Cars.com and knew all about the redesign and new standard equipment. Truly incredible. What was really mindblowing was the price! Lower than any I had seen. Contacted the dealership to see if any hidden fees (some dealerships don't include the transportation fee in the price, which can be alot). Sharon at Tyson's Honda assured me the price included everything but the processing fee of $499 (I think that was the amount) and title, taxes, and tags. Very friendly first contact and good news on the price! I didn't want a Honda at first, I had a used 1990 Honda, I'm 6'2" and feel like I'm pushing myself off the ground when I got out of it. I thought Honda's were too small and too low. Searched everywhere else looking for a good deal. Then I saw the standard equipment on the new 2013 Civic. Some of the Civic's standard equipment was only available on other cars costing $10,000 more. Reconsidered the Civic. Went to my local dealership to see if I would fit in the car. The fit and style were perfect, although still a little low (I used to own a truck and perfer that seating height). Asked the local dealership if they could match Honda of Tyson's Corner price. They tried but were still $600 more expensive. Went to Tyson's Honda next, brought in the Cars.com printout for an additional $250 off, worked with Tahir, showed him the color and price they advertised and I wanted. Great guy, easy to talk to, no price haggling or trying to bait and switch. I added some options for the protection of the car, but they added mudguards free at an already incredible price. After test driving it, I made an appointment to finalize the paper work. There were some hiccups in the financing process but Tahir and Greg, in financing, in particular smoothed them over. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Honda was offering 0.9% financing also. Overall a great car buying experience. I would highly recommend this dealership. No bait and switch, no pressure in upgrading options or models, no concealing added costs. Do your homework, know what you want, know what you'll pay. Tahir is the man to deal with, friendly but not overly, proud of the car he's selling and knowledgable about it. I got the car I wanted, in color and price I wanted. No buyer's remorse here. Thank you Tahir, Greg and Tyson's Honda. More

!!!!!!!!Stay away from Honda of Tysons, if you value your vehicle!!!!!! Car is dead!!!!! I went in for a MIL check engine light on a 02 Honda Civic, turned into replacing the head gasket and left with mo vehicle!!!!!! Car is dead!!!!! I went in for a MIL check engine light on a 02 Honda Civic, turned into replacing the head gasket and left with more problems and repairs costs of 1600 dollars. Do not go here, they will service your car and mess it up, my car has been sitting at home for the past few months. A repair for check engine light turned into replacing engine head gasket and after the work and other issues noticed. After a 2nd follow up visit after the issues noticed from 1st repair, they told me I need a new engine, I was not told from the beginning that my engine was bad, I was mislead. I only had a check engine light when I brought my car in and I left with the following issues they refuse to repair - (Email was sent to Mo, service advisor, no response from him). 1) Car has hesitation when shifting gears and this is an automatic transmission, never had any issues before service. I brought this to them and this was not fixed, I never had this issue before having the repair done by them. Problem still exists, the mechanic stated something do with adjusting the timing belt, but all I can tell them is my car is damaged and doesn't drive like it used to. 2) Engine light is still on, still not gone away, the initial diagnosis was the misfire between 2 and 3 and he stated the mechanic got to the bottom of it. When agreeing to the repair to my car, this is what he told me and what I had agreed to. 3) I never had any oil pressure problems before the repair, then all of the sudden I have a red oil pressure light come on. That just doesn't make any sense to me. After leaving the dealer for the first time, car had no MIL engine light on (so I am thinking my car is fixed). As soon as I get to the light and accelerate off, I notice the hesitation. Later the next day after my car had over 30 miles on it, guess what, the engine light came back on (this was the initial issue which I paid over $1600). I went back to the dealership, took about 2-3 hours and service manager told me the timing belt had to be adjusted a hair, no idea what that means, to be honest, all I know my car did not have this issue before the service. After the 2 hours, they told me I need to bring the car back to drop off to them. Next day they put me in another rental. While my car is in the shop for the 2nd time to investigate why the check engine light came back on and the hesitation, they call me to tell he has bad news that my engine is shot and that I could put 1600 dollars I already spent towards a new engine which I would then have to spend upwards of like 2500-3000 dollars more! Upon my 2nd pickup of my vehicle, he assured me the hesitation was gone and again tells me my car's engine will die within a week or 2. Also they told me my alternator was bad and that they replaced that free of charge. Now again, I had NO alternator issues ever with my car and was not an issue before the repairs. But they told me it was fixed, but the issues are still there and worse, now the red oil pressure light is on. Driving my car to work the following week after repair, I called Honda again, told them my car was shaking while driving home. They told me to bring it in, I have not had the opportunity to bring in the car because the red oil pressure light came on and now it won't start up and they told me that they were not going to give me a rental car. How was i going to go back home? Fast forward 4 months of my car just sitting at home. I decided to call the General Manager Mike Walker told him about all the issues, which he never got back to me, this turned out to be useless and disturbing in itself. Instead the service advisor got back to me and stated oh he told me my engine was bad from the beginning, what a bunch of nonsense and dishonest! The service advisor story is, we gave you 2 options up front, what a bunch of BS!!! As I explained above, engine replacement was never an option when I had the recommended service done for which I paid 1600 dollars. Any subsequent calls to Mike's office were not answered and he even had the audacity to hang up on me as soon as I called his office! How disrespectful? So General Manager refuses to even speak with me, what do I do???? Who would spend 1600 dollars if they knew their engine was going to die soon, that's throwing money down the toilet! Very dishonest practices, they take your money and then they say, oh you can put that money towards a new engine. Okay if you paid to have your vehicle fixed and it wasn't fixed. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU PUT MORE MONEY INTO THAT SAME VEHICLE WITH THE SAME PEOPLE AND EXPECT A GOOD OUTCOME!!!!! So the trust is lost completely. Getting repair work done, you expect your car to be fixed and better than it went in the shop not worse off. Makes you wonder on whether or not I still have my vehicle's original parts or engine that used to work before the repair. I am still waiting on a response from the service advisor on why did I have all these issues right after the service. The response in regards to the red oil pressure light from the service advisor was - oh you need to put more oil in your car, it's burning oil, WOW!! I am the sole owner for this vehicle, bought brand new, I've never had this red oil pressure light come on, maintained very well for the past 10 years, all oil changes on time. I have all the service history of my oil changes and now my car is burning through oil, that is just very hard for me to believe, unless something happened during the repairs or was it always to get me to spend more money to keep that cash flow coming into the dealership. All of the sudden I get all these issues, I'd be a fool to think this was just all coincidental, it just doesn't add up, something is very fishy here and they don't want to fix it!!!!! Thank goodness for my wife is a stay at home mom with our three toddler boys. I am able to use her car but now we have no choice to get a new car and I would never buy Honda again. If anyone asks me about buying from Honda of Tysons, I would say DON'T EVEN BOTHER ! More
the purchase experience was very positive. My wife and I like the approach the dealership takes to selling. there is no going back and forth between the sales person and the sales manager. The price you se like the approach the dealership takes to selling. there is no going back and forth between the sales person and the sales manager. The price you see on the car is a lower price that compares well to the prices that are provided by consumer reports. We will probably go back to this dealership when we are in the market for a new car. Our sales person was very knowledgeable, helpful and very low pressure. More
After speaking with a representative on the phone about an advertised price on a new Odyssey, we drove from PA to VA to take a look. We were greeted by the manager, who introduced us to Amine. Amine was ve an advertised price on a new Odyssey, we drove from PA to VA to take a look. We were greeted by the manager, who introduced us to Amine. Amine was very courteous and helpful, taking time to discuss our situation and needs, as well as the features of the Odyssey. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and gave us time to discuss our decision. He was very respectful, never pushy, and took the time to answer all of our questions. He spent a significant amount of time with us to ensure our happiness, gave us his card and encouraged us to contact him anytime if we have a question. We returned a couple of weeks after our purchase to have the exterior and interior treatments done, and Amine, again, provided outstanding cutomer service, even though the sale was complete. His focus throughout the sale, and afterward, has been on us as his customer, not simply on just making a sale. He is a great asset to the dealership. More
