I assumed that they were truthful experts but subsequently learned that I had been misled. Don't visit Honda of Tyson's Corner unless you have someone to advise and protect you from their "service advisors." More

He was also incompetent in that he was unaware that the brake problem he diagnosed, which had an estimated repair cost of $950.00, was actually covered by a recall notice. If I had not researched the issue online, I would've paid the entire cost of the repair. After calling the national number for the American Honda Motor Co., ((888) 234-2138) I confirmed that the repair was covered by a December 2010 recall notice. I then called the Tysons Corner Honda service department to explain that the repair should be covered. I was told that most of the repair was covered but that I'd still owe $200 because it was not fully covered. There was no apology for missing the issue and when I specifically asked why we were not told that the problem was covered by a recall, the service representative said "it's an old notice and I didn't realize you could get it fixed." He then reminded me to change my brake fluid more regularly, as if that was really the problem. This type of begrudging service is precisely what people hate about getting their cars repaired. It breeds mistrust and dissatisfaction not just with the service department but the entire organization. More

I’ve called numerous time and I never been able to get a hold of anyone that can help or knows what needs to be done. I bought my car about 4 months ago and and I regret giving them my business. The only good experience that I’ve had was the first day that they were selling me the car. I bought the protection and maintenance package and supposedly the (vendor) was going to send me a service booklet (that was never mentioned during the signing by the way). I took my car in for an oil change and was told that I needed this booklet and I need to call this vendor or I will have to be charged for the oil change even thou I’ve already purchased the maintenance package; they were treating me like they are doing me a favor by not charging me that one time for a service that was already paid in full. I have yet to meet my service advisor, but that’s another headache/story. I have never written a review for anything in my life, but this just unbearable. Unless someone form Honda of Tysons corner contacts me and can provides some assurance that they can provide simple phone numbers and guidance so I can get what I paid for 4 months ago, I will never endorse them or refer any family or friends to set foot inside that building. I’ve called over 11 times and each time I got the run around, I left voice mails that still hasn’t been responded to. This is just disappointing. More

I bought my first new car the past weekend and I had a very pleasant car buying experience thanks to Mr Mohammed Ameyar and Mr. Amine Kadmiri. They were very detailed & professional throughout the whole process. They explained everything I wasn't familiar with. Great service!. OMG their price is also unbeatable. I searched through a lot of dealerships until i came across Sonic. I live in Frederick, Maryland but i drove almost 2 hours because of their great deals. I highly recommend this dealership. Stress free experience buying my first car I bought my first car (a 2016 Honda CR-Z) this past weekend from Derreck Folgar. I was really nervous about the whole car buying process, but Derreck I bought my first car (a 2016 Honda CR-Z) this past weekend from Derreck Folgar. I was really nervous about the whole car buying process, but Derreck was extremely helpful and responsive throughout. He was quick to respond to all of my questions prior to arriving at the dealership, even on his day off. Most importantly, he was very transparent about the total costs associated with purchasing the vehicle. I had contacted almost 10 different dealers inquiring about price, and most of them were unable to provide any straightforward answers in writing (much less, competitive OTD offers). Derreck was able to offer me a great deal on my car over email, and without any hidden costs. I ended up driving 2 hours to Tysons Corner from Richmond in order to purchase my CR-Z. It was a huge relief to have a fair price negotiated before traveling, and a car already set aside for me. Since it was my first car, the process ended up taking a little bit longer than expected, but Derreck was really patient with helping to explain all of the aspects involved with purchasing a car that I wasn't familiar with. Every time we have sought routine service (oil change, etc.) or recall service (3 airbags), the Tysons Honda dealer, finds problems that require costly repairs. Most recently (02/10/16) when we took in our Honda Accord for an airbag recall, the service rep said the SRS light indicated a problem that would not pass inspection and could only be fixed by a Honda dealer. As a result, we paid $433 to replace a seat belt buckle. When we picked up the car the service rep and manager were not on site. I called the Tysons Honda Service manager and left a message to call me about my service experience. He never returned my call. We are deeply skeptical about a rewards structure where service reps receive commissions based on their recommendations for costly and sometimes unnecessary repairs. Our Internet research revealed this to be a common scam at some Honda dealers. One blogger actually found a reputable Honda dealer who replaced his seat belt buckle for just $35. When discussing our dissatisfaction with other Honda owners, we learned that the Tysons Honda dealer has a horrible reputation. In the future, we will NOT go back to the Tysons Honda dealer to purchase or service a car. More
