This was my first car purchase and I wanted to be sure I was getting a quality vehicle that fit my needs, not the dealership's. My husband and I had sent an email requesting an internet quote on a 2010 Honda Element. Kwame responded and my husband had a nice exchange with him about the car. We were going to go in the 48 hours to look at the car which would have put us at the weekend. In the meantime, Kwame sent an email about "March Madness Deal Busters." One of the deals was a "Loaded Honda Pilot for $28,985". I went in to 1. look at the Element and 2. See about the loaded Pilot. The only thing loaded about that particular Pilot was the price and the mileage. No sunroof, no leather seats and nearly 7,000 miles (2009). There was a 2010 burgundy pilot with leather, sunroof etc. parked nearby. Kwame said he could get me a good price. Final tally was $31,995. I asked for $30,000. He went to talk to Tony. Tony came to meet me and started pulling out supposed documents stamped with "Confidential" about the prices they as salespeople can sell cars for without losing money and the $31,995 was already WAAAYYY below. Like I'm some idiot who has never bought cars before. I got up at that point as I did not want to play the game. I forgot my Blackberry case in Kwame's office and he called me later that evening to let me know. I stopped by the following day, got my blackberry case and on the way out of the lot, what do I spot but a burgundy pilot with a "March Madness Deal buster price of $28,985". I stopped my car at the entrance, jumped out and went up to the window where I checked it out. I couldn't see the mileage as the engine was off, but I did see it had black leather and the third row was also down and had a mud cover. I immediately called Kwame on my phone and asked about it. (I would have gone inside, but I was already late picking up my daughter from school) He paused when I inquired about it, then started stumbling that it WASN'T the same car and that it was a 2008 and he would check it out to make DOUBLY sure, and call me back. Needless to say I am still waiting for that call. I found the entire episode bizarre and I didn't like them acting like they were the sharpest knives in the drawer. Obviously these two didn't want to make a sale and must be independently wealthy as they do not care about the commission. At this point, I am going to buy a Nissan Murano, will never go back to this Honda dealership, and plan to tell everyone I know about my experience. Even random people I meet on the street. Better Business Bureau is my next step. More

We never once felt we were getting a sales pitch or felt pressure to purchase a car or decide one color over another. They were willing to find the perfect car for us, not just a car on their lot. Walter showed us details of the car that would suit our needs. He even spent time with us finding a way to keep two car seats in the car while still accessing the third row with ease (without having to take out the car seats). He brought up three cars for us, just to decide on the color. He moved each one under the light (we looked at night) and he even had one of the cars washed when I mentioned "I just can't see the color very well". He also drove us down to the garage, under the bright lights, to see the color too. He went above and beyond. Nancy Herrera was amazing as well. She highlighted all the key items I may need to reference in our new manuals and paperwork. Usually, you get "Here are your 5 Manuals" and if you need a code for the stereo, good luck finding them in your new papers. They were all friendly, sincere, detailed, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. And they all stayed as late as it took for us to decide on exactly what we wanted. The Sales Manager, Tony Ramazani, became an instant friend. He welcomed us to the Oursiman Honda family and has already gone above and beyond helping us prep our old car to return to another dealership. Wonderful! We honestly, can't say enough. We highly recommend this dealership over any other Honda dealership in the VA, MD, DC area. More
I have given the highest rating for several reasons. First, from the moment my wife and I walked in the door we were treated respectfully and courteously. Walter knew every detail about the car, including the intricate details about the electronics, seat movements, safety issues and other areas which were extremely important to my wife and I. Third, there was absolutely no pressure from anyone. It was truly the best car buying experience that both of us have ever had. Additionally, Mr. Ramizani and Mr. Whitford stayed beyond the closing hours of the store in their personal time to ensure we could complete our business the same evening we came to the store. We had visited 2 other Honda dealerships and other brand dealerships in the week prior to our visit to Ourisman. We did not have the intention of leasing the vehicle that evening but once we began to work with Mr. Whitford and Mr. Ramizni we knew this is where we would direct our business. We have purchased and continue to service three Hondas at Ourisman Honda. We keep going back because we love Hondas and love dealing with everyone at Ourisman. It is just so easy to talk to anyone there about your car. Each car purchase was made easy with their professional sales staff. I have never had to return my car after a service, it is always done right the first time. My Odyssey, with 168,000 miles on it will have to be replaced someday and I know that we will just decide which will be the right Honda for us once again. More

I recently totalled what was my very first car and this was my first attempt to navigate my way through new car sales. Unsurprisingly, I was nervous walking into the dealership. Kwame was able to put me at ease and easily gain my trust and respect. He was friendly, personable, and somehow made car shopping into a fun event for my sister and I. Tony is a credit to the Ourisman name. Not only does he keep his promise, but he goes above and beyond even what he's promised. He treated me AND my 8 year old son with the greatest of courtesy and respect. Tony's response time to my telephone call was amazingly swift. In fact, he called me twice and followed up with an email! I went with my family yesterday after getting email confirmation from Ourisman Honda Bethesda,MD that they will match a lease offer for 2010 Odyssey EX($310 a month with absolute 0 down - including ta confirmation from Ourisman Honda Bethesda,MD that they will match a lease offer for 2010 Odyssey EX($310 a month with absolute 0 down - including tax, tags, fees etc.) I had from a different dealer. When I went they said it is fine, however, they offered me only 12k for my 2007 Odyssey EX(22k mile) which is in great condition. Then when I mentioned that it was a ridiculous offer, they told me that they had to talk to the General Sales Manager next morning before they can offer a realistic trade value for this van. I agreed. The manager (Jose) called me in the morning and told me that they will give me 18k for my trade. I told them I wanted 19,500 and he said they could only do upto 18,500 and he could talk to the manager again and see what he can do. He never called and I called the Sales person Roma again to see what is going on. He told me the same thing - that they will still match the other lease offer and give me 18,500 for my trade. I asked him to confirm if he still had the color/model that we looked at last night. He confirmed with a 'yes'. I reached the dealership within 35 minutes. When he gave me the credit application papers I asked him again to make sure the same color van is available. At that point Roma told me that he did because he didn't think they sold a van that morning. After I insisted on confirming, he went to check and told me that they actually don't have that color. However, they can manage to get the same color from the sister company but it will cost a little more because they have to do some re-inspection. I told them I am not going to pay anymore because I asked him before coming and he should have told me then. So this time he came back and told me that they'll accept the same price we agreed before. So once more I confirmed with him and he agreed that they'll honor the matching price and trade that they promised before. Finally, I gave them the credit application so they could run the credit check and we can finish the deal. After the credit check, the manager came back and told me that the sales person gave me incorrect information and that we had to start over. And that is a lie because I was there last night and I gave them all the information including the offer and only then they offered me the trade amount this morning. So there is no way that the manager didn't know the price I confirmed in advance. I was upset but still patient. He said if you put $500 of the tax and etc. down up front we'll have a deal. Even though I shouldn't have offered anymore, I was already fedup with all the time wasting and just said that I'll put down $200 max. Then he came back and said that we were $900 short of the deal. He just told me $500 and now changed it to $900. This shows how they kept lying and breaking their word. This whole process wasted lot of my time and one credit check. I went with my family including two little kids twice. I believe their practice was extremely deceptive just to get me in the door and they kept lying repeatedly to get more money. I would advise everyone NOT to buy from these people. Do not deal with sales person Roma Emelev and manager Jose Cuadro - they are very deceptive. More
