First off, going in I was a bit unsure of what I wanted to purchase. What really made this a five star experience for me was the fact that Steve really knew his products and was very honest and up front wi to purchase. What really made this a five star experience for me was the fact that Steve really knew his products and was very honest and up front with the pricing and financing. It's such a relief as a buyer to not feel pressured into such an important purchase which is why I appreciated his "stand back" approach to selling cars. He was able to answer every question I threw at him and then left me to make my decision as to which options worked best for me and my family without trying to sway me in one direction or the other. Needless to say, I would definitely recommend Ourisman to anyone in need of a new vehicle. More
After a friend had had a great experience ordering a Chevy Cruz from Tyler Harper at the Oursiman Chevolet Dealer next door to Ourisman Dodge, I found myself in the market for a 2012 Dodge Charger and w Chevy Cruz from Tyler Harper at the Oursiman Chevolet Dealer next door to Ourisman Dodge, I found myself in the market for a 2012 Dodge Charger and was hoping Tyler would be able to help me out. I was please to find Ourisman allows their salesmen to work at other dealerships, therefore Tyler met me at the Dodge side of the house and worked my deal. I've bought 7 cars in my time from dealerships, so I walked in with reasonable expectations of what to expect... and this was by far the most hassle-free experience I've ever had. I too was ordering the vehicle direct which simplifies things; the negotiation was smooth and not overtly excessive. Tyler didn't use typical tactics like using Dodge incentives as negotiating leverage; we negotiated the price and then applied the incentives from that price. I left feeling confident I struck a great deal. On my return from a Thanksgiving trip, the dealership even stayed open late the night before delivery to let me settle some final details. On the day of delivery I was pressed for time from work and Ourisman was able to accommodate my pickup in less than one hour! There wasn't excessive sales attempts of add-ons or extras at the last minute. I walked in knowing what I expected the closing price to be and that's exactly what I got. I even asked to have the dealer sticker removed from the trunk at the last minute, which was done within 15 minutes without issue. As far as buying/ordering a car, I would definitely recommend Ourisman and Tyler. More
I was very pleased with the service I received when i went to Ourisman. Tyler was very friendly and wanted to make sure that we found the right car for me, not only something i really wanted but somethin went to Ourisman. Tyler was very friendly and wanted to make sure that we found the right car for me, not only something i really wanted but something that was in my price range as well. I never felt rushed or preasured at any point even though i showed up later in the day and we didnt finish until slightly after closing time. I felt like i was able to walk away with not only something that i really liked but something that was also a good deal. Overall it went about as well as buying a car can and I walked away very happy. More
Jim worked very hard and spent most of a Saturday afternoon to locate the car we wanted. We worked with three other dealerships and they did not even come close to finding what we wanted at the right afternoon to locate the car we wanted. We worked with three other dealerships and they did not even come close to finding what we wanted at the right price. He also gave us a number of different options. We decided on a more expensive car than we had planned. We are happy that we spent more and got a bigger engine. Also the added features are really nice to have. We were going to finance the vehicle through our bank, but got a better rate through your financial representative. She was really helpfull. Jim also followed through with our Sirius account when they tried to give us less of a trial period then we were promised. I deal in customer service on a daily basis and would hire any of the people we dealt with at this dealership. I would also reccommend my friends deal there. In answer to the optional question: If the dealer controlled the reviews, I would take them with a grain of salt. More
I took 2 separate test drives with a salesman and they were OK. Not high pressure, but a little low pressure. When it came to get pricing it all went to heck in a hand-basket. I emailed the salesman who I were OK. Not high pressure, but a little low pressure. When it came to get pricing it all went to heck in a hand-basket. I emailed the salesman who I went with on the test drives and I told him in the email the exact model and exact packages and option I wanted. He emailed me back with a much higher number than I expected. I told him I read Dodge's site, Edmunds, and KBB and he was way off. He actually scanned the windows sticker and said 'here it is - what do you want me to do?' I emailed him back and said that he didn't even read my email since the options on the window sticker didn't match the options I requested in the email. Then he wrote some crap in the next email about how Edmunds doesn't know everything and that they have a special warranty and have car washes and bucket load of other crap. I finally emailed the guy back and said never mind - I'll find another dealer. Don't go to these creeps, They didn't listen to me, didn't respect me, and tried to sell me a car on the lot rather than sell me that car I wanted. I was trying my best to spend 35k+, but they lost a sale because of terrible customer service. More
I bought a used car from this dealership 6 months ago. A week after buying it the battery light came on, then all the other warning lights follewed one by one while I was driving and the car stalledon me an week after buying it the battery light came on, then all the other warning lights follewed one by one while I was driving and the car stalledon me and would not restart. I have to have the car towed back to Ourisman Service because of an electrical system problem. It took Ourisman Service 22 days to fix and I had to get Chrysler of America involved because Ourisman service depart would not call me with updates and generally had no clue as to what was wrong with it. During this time, Ourisman made it clear that they would not take the car back and that my only option was to trade it in for deprieciated value if I wanted to get rid of the car. After repair finally finished and I picked up car, battery light intermittantly would come on and go off. I took it back and had Ourisman check it and was told they could not do anything until the light stayed on. They assured me they were documenting problem and that it would be fixed when it happened permenantly. The battery finally came on, followed by the other warning lights one by one again and the car stalled on me and would not restart. I towed it into Ourisman Service once again and this time they found a wiring harness was burnt out and needed repair. Told me they would now not cover the repair and that I had to pay for it. Initially Service manager Jim Darrow's tried to sell me a $1000 repair, but then dropped the price to about $80 and making a repair of the damaged wires when he relized I was pissed and was not going to have them repair it. I dealt w/ Service Manager Jim Darrows and Sales Managers James Hottle over issues w/ this car. Dealership and several of their managers have no integrity and could careless about fixing customer problems once the ink dries on the check you signed when you bought your new or used car. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS! AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE! More
Heed the warnings!!! We ALMOST bought a vehicle despite the many worning on this site. Please do yourself a favor and heed these warnings. We ALMOST bought a used 2005 Hyundai Sonata from this dealership the many worning on this site. Please do yourself a favor and heed these warnings. We ALMOST bought a used 2005 Hyundai Sonata from this dealership. They were very friendly when they thought we were going to buy it and walk out the door with it. We asked if we could think about it and do some research. Through our research the vehicle was priced too high. We went back to negotiate since this is the vehicle we were looking for. Immediatly when we walked in Emerson and Jim Boone (the manager) thought we were their just to buy the vehicle. this was not the case. When they found this out - this is when the browbeating began. They told us that we were foolish and they were offended by our offer (we expected this) but the manner that the pursued and continued to speak down to us was apalling!!! Please - only go here if you want to leave feeling like the worst person ever. However, we did end up purchasing a used vehicle from Steve Nolty at Fairfaz Hyundai. Talk about VIP service!! I have also written a review about their service. Please check it out. Thanks! More
I cannot agree enough with the other posters. I bought a car in January only to find out soon after that the side panels were attached to the car with VELCRO and glue. In addition, the lock system I had ins car in January only to find out soon after that the side panels were attached to the car with VELCRO and glue. In addition, the lock system I had installed never worked, and driving down the interstate one day half the wiring in the front lights fell out. I've had it in there for days for repairs and it still isn't fixed. They have admitted their fault (the service people remember my car and name just because of the velcro) but I still can't get a rental or loaner when I bring my car in. Stay FAR FAR away. More
