On a recent visit for routine maintenance, David D., my service rep, checked me in as soon as I arrived for my appointment, correctly estimated the time it would take to complete the service, made sure that my tire pressure was "topped off" as my indicator message was demanding, and was friendly and professional. I highly recommend David and Ourisman. More
Very long oil change appointment The only reason why I would have to return is because I bought a prepaid package of oil change already. But the customer service there is terrible. I first made an appointment and once i got there the guy told me he was super busy and will take about 2 hours so it was better to reschedule. I said fine and changed it for Thursday morning instead. However, once I got there and they took my car I ended up being there for 3.5 hours waiting just for an oil change to be done. I had to go to him twice to ask about the status and the people there blew me off like if my time did not matter. I was unaware that in order to get an oil change I had to ask for an entore day off of work. In the end I got the oil change. They supposedly did a free multi service inspection but there was no verbal or written communication saying if everything was ok with the car or not. More

Upon arriving in Alexandria, VA I immediately called Ourisman and explained what happened, the service department told me to bring the Jeep right in, they would take care of me and allowed me to leave my Jeep there for 2 days so I would not miss any of my sightseeing! An exceptional experience - deepest thanks for such caring people for an “out of towner”! More

On 10/15/2017 I test-drove and inspect Trust the other reviewers that Ourisman isn't a one-star organization, it's a zero star! Lies and runarounds. On 10/15/2017 I test-drove and inspected a used vehicle. I observed that both turn signal lenses were detached from their mounts and laying loose at the bottom of each headlight assembly. I questioned how their VA State safety inspector passed the vehicle. The salesman had no explanation. Also, the drive belt and engine had a severe vibration. The salesman said they would check into the engine/belt issue. Over the next week I kept in contact with him. On 10/23/2017 the salesman told me both headlight assemblies were replaced and the water pump was replaced and he was ready to make a "deal." The internet sales manager also called me and said the car was "fixed." On 10/24/2017 I visited the dealership. The only thing they did was remove the loose lenses from the assembly. They never replaced the assemblies nor did they install new lenses. They also did nothing with the engine/belt issue. They said it just need to be cleaned. I asked the salesman why he told me the headlamp assemblies and water pump were replaced. He had no answer other than some pathetic excuse that maintenance had confused the vehicle with another car. We walked out of the dealership and never heard from Ourisman again. Unfortunately, you can guess that they sold the vehicle with a known safety issue and mechanical issue to someone else. You can also assume this wasn't the first, nor the last vehicle, they will sell with known safety and maintenance issues. Again, lies and runarounds. More
Service department are shocking. Seemed nice when I showed up and dropped my jeep off, but xxxx I was wrong. Trying to charge someone $800 for unnecessary new brake pads and resurfaci Seemed nice when I showed up and dropped my jeep off, but xxxx I was wrong. Trying to charge someone $800 for unnecessary new brake pads and resurfacing rotors is criminal. Turns out my pads were fine and they just wanted to charge me. $1800 for new front ball joints is absurd and out of wack with any other garage. Four ball joints are $200 plus roughly $600 labor. Not sure where the extra $1000 came from. On top of that, trying to charge $250+ per axle to change the diff fluid is twice the price of what it should be. I get you're a dealer and therefore charge extra, but this is crazy. No wonder it is so easy to get appointments with your department, no one ever comes back. You guys should be ashamed especially as it seems your Sales department is fine. I will never be back. More

Samer was very helpful answering all my questions. He took me on test drives with the vehicle I ended up purchasing and one other I was interested in. He explained the difference between the two vehicles based on the information I gave him as far as needs and my driving conditions. I was impressed with his technical knowledge as well as his ability to break down the information in an understandable way. He took his time and his demeanor made it a no pressure environment.
