Bad Service I took my 2012 Jeep Wrangler in after experiencing problems with my brakes. I took the opportunity to get an oil change as well. The service dept called me the day of service and told me that there was nothing wrong with my brakes, having been checked by their certified service professional.. Let me say there was CLEARLY something wrong with the brakes, as an intense scraping sound occurred whenever the vehicle was driven. I asked the service "leader"(?) to double check and that I had brought in the vehicle due to clear brake issues. Again, they said nothing was wrong with my brakes. I was driven to pick up my vehicle at the end of the day. When the vehicle was brought to the front, I could hear it before I could even see it. The employees that were still around all shifted the blame to someone else and acted like they had no idea what to do or who was responsible. I was not pointed to a manager, but rather told I could drive my vehicle home for the night (It was undriveable due to the problem with the brakes, hence why I brought it in for an inspection) or leave it for the next day. I left it for the next day, but rather than diagnose the problem early as the vehicle should have already been completed, I wasn't called until 3 pm. At 3 pm, to no surprise, I was told there was a major problem with the brakes that would cost me $1100. I okay'd the estimate, and was told I would have my vehicle by 2 pm the next day. I did not receive my vehicle until 6:30 pm, after physically going to the dealership as I was not called nor was I able to get in touch with the service "leader" assigned to my vehicle. I arrived and again experienced a huge disregard for customer care/service. It was a nightmare all around. More
Timely, comprehensive, helpful I took my 202 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for service for the first time thereafter moving to the area. Not impressed this visit. I had a couple safety recalls In the software that needed fixing. I was told that they could take 10- 20 min or up to 3 hrs. I was told that I would be notified if it was going to take longer than an hour so that I would have to option to schedule for another time to be fixed. An hour later I had to find a service rep and ask them what the status was. To which he told me it would be 3-4 hours and that they already started. So I was not given the option to reschedule. 4 hours later I was told my vehicle was finished but that there was a recall for the tail gate that was not resolved because of a part that had to be ordered. So again I will have to take more time to bring my truck in to be fixed because you don’t have safety recall parts on hand; which is troubling since I received a notice to come in at my first opportunity to get the recalls resolved. Why would your dealership not have safety recall parts on hand? If this was a more volatile safety recall would I be sent away to come back another time, meanwhile the safety of my passengers and I is ignored? Troubling. More

Outstanding! Being in a work related service position I know one rarely hears positives and usually just negatives. Let me assure you that is NOT the case here. I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee to Ourisman after I had had it looked at by two other mechanics....one of which was another Jeep dealership... my issue was the check engine was coming on intermittently and they could not figure out why specifically.. I dropped it off without an appointment at Ourisman and Alex Alvarado took my car in immediately. He was patient, listened as I explained the history of the vehicles problem and knew I was quite frustrated with the previous attempts to correct the car’s issues.. Alex was extremely professional, friendly and forthcoming and when I left, I felt certain my car was in very capable, good hands. Within less than five hours Alex reached out to me and let me know the problem had been identified and the cost to fix it. He also recommended several other maintenance procedures on the vehicle, explained their purpose and why he was making those suggestions. He did not PUSH me to perform the additional work and I loved that he did not. Based on his recommendations however, and estimated cost to perform all the services, I authorized the dealership to move forward with the repairs. My car was ready when he said it would be and the invoice was actually a less than quoted. I was so impressed with Alex and the dealership I absolutely would recommend them to my friends, and family. My room-mate was also so impressed, she is now considering buying a vehicle from the dealership simply based on the nature of the car service and responsiveness of Alex. Please pass on these comments to Alex and Ourisman.. Just an outstanding experience.. I intend to use this dealership in the future even though I have another one within three miles of my house and Ourismans is farther away. More
