We bought a new 2010 Jeep Liberty Renegade in January of 2011. Over the VERY hot weekend when it was 106 degrees, our AC started to blow only hot air. We drove to Lustine to find out what the problem was. We did not have an appointment, but Jennifer Bartley was able to help us out and have a tech look at the AC. The tech found that the low pressure had a leak. Jennifer informed us of this and let us know that they had to order the part. She also informed us that they normally drain all the fluid out, but because the weather was so hot they recharged the AC for us. Jennifer did tell us that it was under warranty. Jennifer and the tech had us in and out in about 30-40 minutes. Any time I have dealt with Jennifer, she has been very informative and pleaseant. She has very good customer service skills. It is very nice to be able to take your car in for service and know that you are going to get GREAT customer service and an explanation of what is wrong with the car and what they need to do to fix it. New purchase and trade-in Financial paperwork went smoothly and without delay. * Returned approx 2 weeks later for installation of "WE OWE" items: tri-fold tonneau cover and underbed liner. Darlene Breeden was very helpful and even provided a Logo / Brand hat for my having to wait a little longer than originally told. * So far, my experience with Lustine has been great; and would recommend to anyone asking for recommendation on Dodge / RAM products. A couple of years ago, Lustine had taken over the service and sales from another dealership, which had dropped the Jeep product. When I first brought my Liberty to Lustine for service, the mechanic discover and sales from another dealership, which had dropped the Jeep product. When I first brought my Liberty to Lustine for service, the mechanic discovered a problem with the transmission which my service records showed could only have been created by work done during the warranty period at the prior dealership. Lustine service department replaced the transmission for free and did not quibble about it. They accepted the responsibility for the problem and made it right. Since then, every time I have had a service experience with them I have found them to be willing to discuss the full extent of any service that I need, and look for ways to save me time and money. While paying for car repairs and regular service is far from my favorite pastime, the pleasant and conscientious attitude reflected by the Lustine staff helps. I don't know alot about mechanics so it's important to me to feel confident that the work has been competently done and that it is only work that is needed. Lustine provides that kind of service. Troy called me to keep me up to date, as you did in email, Troy kept in touch with me during the entire process. His follow up shows that he cares for customers and their satisfaction. As a previous Cowles Chrysler Customer, you have won my confidence that you will take care of me. My situation is unusual in that my wife is suffering from a disease that is not curable and I live in fear each day that I may lose her.
