Hello Miss customer- I have waited to respond to this review until I was able to resolve the issues that were outstanding. Once again I apologize for your entire experience. I think that everyone involved had nothing but the best of intentions, as you had obviously received the best price from Lustine as you passed 4 dealers to come here. So I assure you that we did not get anything over you, as you are a very educated consumer that came in knowing all information. And in regards to the credit card issue, I again will apologize. We can go on and on about this, but the fact is that you agreed and signed knowing the downpayment was $3200.00, but left only having paid $700.00 of that downpayment. I agree that this would not have happened if not for the poor job done by my finance manager at the time, but I think you will also agree that everyone makes mistakes. You are not saying we over charged you by $2500.00, you are only stating that we charged you the balance that was owed. And I have apologized to your husband for anything that I might have said that offended him, because I am man enough to admit when I make a mistake. I appreciate the service your husband has given to his country, and being a Marine, I know the value of being true to your word and I know how much integrity means to your husband. With that being said, I also assure you that I am not just an "ignorant sales person who is only out to get over on whoever they need to". Fact is, I am a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, I am a father, a husband, and employ a staff full of former military so that my closeness with the military and good relationship with the surrounding bases stays intact. I care about my customers and my employees, and do not feel it necessary to fire an employee for one mistake. Because that is what it was, it was one mistake. We have done everything in our power to assist you since, and to date I understand you are still unhappy. I have given you 2 years of Chrylser oil changes for free just as a token of my appreciation and an expression of my sympathy that you had to go through any of this. All of this was over something very simple, and I think you can agree to that. You walked in knowing your payment, downpayment, term, rate, etc...Never did we try to renegotiate or add additional charges, and you walked out with the same deal that you were so happy to get in the beginning. I also want to say that Matt Lepage is a college grad who played baseball in Kentucky. He is a great father, a great husband, and an even better employee. He is one of the most honest and hard working people I have ever met. I wish I could find 10 of him. And one final comment. I have offered from the beginning to reverse the entire deal and offered you a full refund of your downpayment despite any miles that were put ont he car. You declined this offer. You only declined it because you know you received the best possible deal from Lustine. I am sorry that you have not mentioned that anywhere int he post. If the experience was that poor and we were only attempting to get over on you, why would you not return the vehicle when I made you that offer?

I understand how all the fees can be confusing, which is why I train my staff to disclose everything up front at the time of sale. We are a full disclosure dealership, and because of our stringent 147 point inspection, the reconditioning fees can sometimes be higher than most dealerships. But with that comes a FREE Lifetime warranty on a vehicle, let alone the guarantee of a vehicle that passes the states emission standard, and even Marylands strict safety standards.
