Herb worked very hard to get me the vehicle I wanted at a price I could handle. Herb was great! Got a lot of pressure from the finance lady to buy the maintenance package even though I didn't want it. Ove price I could handle. Herb was great! Got a lot of pressure from the finance lady to buy the maintenance package even though I didn't want it. Overall though the experience was good. Herb was awesome and I love my Jeep Compass. They got us in and out of there with everything done in a couple hours which is a pretty good time frame for the complete purchase of a vehicle. Everyone was very polite and helpful. I would recommend using this dealership. More
Today I drove two hours to Lustine Jeep to purchase a new Jeep Unlimited. Prior to driving that far I emailed back and fourth with the sales manager and we agreed on a price by email on a certain vehicle. I Jeep Unlimited. Prior to driving that far I emailed back and fourth with the sales manager and we agreed on a price by email on a certain vehicle. I call just before leaving my house and spoke directly with this same sales manager to make sure the deal was still good and that they definitly still had the Jeep (which is still listed on their wesite for sale. When I arrived after about a half hour of waiting they tell me that they can find the vehicle. Saleman says its at the over flow lot and sales manager said it might have been sold (you think he have record if it was sold). The sales manager then said he make it right and showed me two different vehicle I could have for that same price. After more than an hour of his number crunching he came back with a price $5000 high that what he agreed to. He also tried showing the price being actually $4000 higher than MSRP. THIS WAS THE CLASSIC BATE AND SWITCH. He was told I would only come for the deal we agreed. So after another hour he was able to get the price down a little more but not to the promised price, they also low balled my trade to help make there difference up. I understand that sometimes you make a mistake about inventory but then when you offer to make right on it only to try to adjust the number well above the asking prices is a total scam. I believe bait and switch is actual an illegal scam. I have copies of all the email about the agreed upon price to inculed the discription, the MSRP, and VIN number of the car I had agreed to purchase. I had all this so we would avoid any problem. The sale manager also claimed he didnt really read the emails thourghly and tought it was a two when he agreed on the price. I feel even if no profit was made today they should have made right since they admitted fault. Two hour dive one way over hours there, a whole day wasted because they just seem to want me there to try to get me to purchase a car where or not they had the one agreed on. I hope Michael Engle reads this. What I thought was going to be a great buying experience turned out the worst experience I ever had at a dealership. More

Ike Lemuwa wad supper friendly and enthuiastic about asisting me in showing me Chrysler 200s that satisfied my criteria (fabric upholstry) from which I could choose. Ike was very knowledgeable about his available inventory in selecting 200s that satisfied my criteria (fabric upholstry) at which I could look, and totally knowledgeable about the 200's features. Ike thoroughly explained the features of the 200 before, during and after the test drive, and he selected a great test drive route that domonstratied for me the 200's ride quality and handling. Ike also demonstrated thorough knowledge of the 200's features in explaining the equipped features and how they operate in great detail. After agreemtn on the purchase and delivery, Ike also ensured that the vehicle preparation for delivery was meticulate and totally complete. As should be expected, Danielle Kaaukei was thoruoughly familiar with the Finance office paperwork. Danielle also had the expertise and technique to make the finance office experience both "painless" and very understandable. Danielle was both thorough and very understandable during her explaining the paperwork and how the tranaction to make payment of the New Jerey sales tax, NJ registration, and delivery of the NJ license plates would take place(car purchased in VA with registration in NJ). Bottome line - my Chrysler 200 Limited purchase could not have been more pleaAANT. BTW, I received a very ffair price on the purchase of thew 200. Jim More

I HAD A NIGHTMARISH EXPERIENCE AT LUSTINE!!!!! PLEASE READ. ALTHOUGH IT IS KIND OF LONG, THIS IS ALL TRUE!!!! I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE. After months of researching and decision-making, I finally decide READ. ALTHOUGH IT IS KIND OF LONG, THIS IS ALL TRUE!!!! I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE. After months of researching and decision-making, I finally decided that I wanted to buy a Dodge Charger R/T. I lined up a few dealers to visit, and went to Lustine first. I chose to work with Donnie, because he was the most responsive to my emails. Donnie showed me a "new" R/T. When he pulled the car around, he opened the trunk to get a tag. It was filled with clothing and other personal items. When I got in the car, he told me not to worry about the shattered driver's side-view mirror. I thought that was quite odd. I drove the car, but it was a sluggish ride, especially for an R/T. So, I looked at an SXT instead, believing that the 8-speed transmission might make the drive better despite the smaller engine. I liked that car, but I wanted to look at other dealers. They were not about to let me leave, however. They started bombarding me with questions and scenarios: What if we did this; what if we did that; what if we did both; what if we.....I allowed them to pull my credit, and they continued the questions. I kept telling them that I would not buy from the first dealer, and that I would rather get back to them the next day. I eventually left (after TWO HOURS!). The next day, Matt emailed me to get my service. Donnie was not there, so I thought it was odd. But Matt gave me a very good offer on an SXT. I asked about financing, and he told me to come on in. I told him since the dealership was about 30 miles away, I wanted certainty. Jason then emailed me and told me the same thing. After a series of emails, Jason finally offered some interest rates. I then asked whether this would require a downpayment. I never heard back from him before the dealership closed. The next day, I continued to email and call the dealership, particularly seeking to speak with Jason, who was in charge of giving me the financing terms. I left several voicemails and emails for Jason, but I never received a response. I did hear from both Matt and Donnie who told me to come down anyway. Against my better judgment, I decided to go without clear financing terms. Before I left, I noticed that the car they offered to me was no longer listed on Dodge.com. I immediately emailed Donnie to see if it was still available, and he assured me that it was. So, I drove all the way to Woodbridge, and met with Donnie. I told him I was ready to buy the car. He went to get the paperwork, and came back and told me the car WAS NOT AVAILABLE! He then enlisted Matt who said the same thing. They said that someone in inventory had given it to another dealer. I was quite upset! Because they didn't have any SXT's that fit my requirements, I decided to give the R/T -- the one with the broken mirror -- another shot. After I drove it, Donnie and Matt offered me a deal. But Donnie then informed me that this car -- the one with the broken mirror and clothing and personal items in it -- was the one that I would purchase! I was floored! I thought this was just a demo car and that they had a new R/T waiting for me. NO! The broken car was the vehicle they intended to sell to me AS A NEW CAR! I asked how the mirror was broken, and Donnie said the manager had been driving it as a personal car and somehow broke it. No one seemed to know whether it had been in an accident or other mishap. Needless to say, I was furious! Donnie tried to show me another SXT, but by this time, I had already decided Lustine would not get my business. While we were on the lot, another salesperson told me not to buy a particular car because he had driven it to New York City over the weekend and had the engine floored the entire time!!!! I thought he was kidding. He said he was not! Incredible. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered. Nearly a week has passed, and I still have not heard back from Jason about my interest rates. I still have not received an apology for their effort to sell me a damaged and filthy car as a "new" vehicle. No worries - I bought a car from another dealer -- Musselman of Baltimore -- and I am very happy. See my review of Musselman for verification! I worked with Ronald and Portia. One final note: the R/T that I purchased from Musselman's was NOT sluggish -- neither was the one that I test-drove. The one I bought (like all the others) drives like a beast. So, in addition to having a damaged mirror, I think the car that Lustine tried to pass off to me as a new car has a messed up engine! It drove like a 3-cylinder car! Even the Taurus I was driving before had more power than the V8 engine in that car. I wonder if the manager had been driving it without servicing it..... FINAL WORDS: AVOID THIS PLACE. YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. RUN! I have noticed that the owner often responds to negative posts. I wonder if I will get a response. I am not holding my breath! Nothing can explain or make up for this terrible service and experience. It was maddening and a complete waste of time. More

Everything went okay with the purchase, just the usall dealer shenanigans. It took almost two months for my trad-in to be paid off and then I had a issue with the title and registration fee. I guess the dealer shenanigans. It took almost two months for my trad-in to be paid off and then I had a issue with the title and registration fee. I guess the issue finaly worked its way up to the General Sales Manager Jason, and he made things right. Ron (my sales person) and the managers there are good I just can't say the same for the Finance Dept. I hear that they recently made changes in that Dept. More
Getting through on you phone lines is virtually impossible. When you call you get a message saying thanks for the call, which then transfers you to a busy signal. I experienced this when I needed impossible. When you call you get a message saying thanks for the call, which then transfers you to a busy signal. I experienced this when I needed my 7500 mile service and ended up going to Alexandria in the end. Now at 16,000 miles I dropped my car off after hours last night, and have been trying to call to speak with a service advisor to make sure they understand what I need, and once again the phones are all messed up. Wow!!!! More
