I recently purchased a 2021 Mercedes B Here we go! I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to help others. I recently purchased a 2021 Mercedes Benz CLA 250 from Ourisman Chevrolet of Bowie MD on July 26, 2025, and unfortunately, it has not been a positive experience. Only after driving the car off the lot, I began noticing issues with the brakes. After having it inspected, I was informed that both the brakes and rotors need to be replaced, which is extremely disappointing for a vehicle that was just sold to me. These are not minor issues—they're critical for safety and should have been addressed before the sale. I expected that the dealership would ensure basic mechanical components were in good condition or at least disclose any known issues. Instead, I feel misled and let down by the lack of transparency and quality control. I reached out to the dealership to express my concerns, but I was told there was nothing they could do,” or I can pay $2,400 to replace the brakes and rotors!!!!! I made multiple attempts to have the dealership rectify the issue and was treated like trash! All of my concerns were discarded and one of the managers had the audacity to have a smirk on his!!!!!!’ Let me also remind anyone who is going to read my review that I reported the issue to the dealership the very next day (July 27th, 2925) after driving off the lot! I took the car to their service center twice and was told it was theirs tires only to be told the second time that there is a “slight pulsation in the rotors!!!’ Did I mention all of this occurred less than a week of purchasing the car!!!! I hope this review encourages the dealership to take more responsibility for the condition of the vehicles they sell. I also recommend that potential buyers to purchase your vehicle from a dealership that is certified in the car you want to buy!!! More
The worst dealership I’ve come across in my life. A few of them Service Advisors need to be replaced with people who genuinely care about the customer and their auto needs. Customer Service Training A few of them Service Advisors need to be replaced with people who genuinely care about the customer and their auto needs. Customer Service Training is definitely needed. I have never met a I don’t give a F$&@! in such a pleasant tone yet nasty way in my life. It was insulting and infuriating. I will never step foot in that place again. They don’t care about you at all. Trust when I say this. Mechanics SEEM to be genuine in passing but they in the shop. SMH. Most Horrible experience in my 54 years . Please stay clear of this place if you want to maintain your emotions and your blood pressure. If not you will experience what I’m telling you and they stick together so don’t get emotional. absolutely the worst GM I've ever encountered from hiding from a call prior to me coming to the dealership, so playing the not pick up game when he's at the dealship, to disregarding that his Service team ca from a call prior to me coming to the dealership, so playing the not pick up game when he's at the dealship, to disregarding that his Service team called to say my car was fixed and it wasn't throughly inspected and looked it let alone a test drive on the car after completing a batter recharge wasn't done. Now I'm left with 3 pages of the same codes the vehicle had upon arriving 3 weeks go with it into their service dept and he's worried about tone and someone talking loud. You can't change how God naturally from birth made my vocal cords are y'all crazy. More
Bunch of Harry Wormwoods. (Matilda’s Dad) IYKYK. General Manager Brad is absolutely useless. Purchased a used vehicle. Within 2 days the interior was falling apart. Within (Matilda’s Dad) IYKYK. General Manager Brad is absolutely useless. Purchased a used vehicle. Within 2 days the interior was falling apart. Within 11 days major exterior components were no longer functional. Entire doors for example. They refused to fix the issues at no cost. Under 30days and under 1000miles. But because the warranty that was suggested to me is what was purchased, they refused to cover the cost of the repairs. Bought a whole car from them and within 11 days they wanted 1k in repairs. Insane. Meanwhile, the used sales manager and General Manager have the ability/authority to cover and claim the repair under whatever label needed if they WANTED to. They simply did not want to. Why be a good person and a business with integrity when you can be shady and cover it up by saying “things happen.” It was haggling and shifty behavior/conversations from the beginning. Should have known better. The car malfunctioning and breaking withIN two weeks of purchase should be covered by the dealer no matter what. Any miles put on the car within that time were literally due to wasting energy going back and forth to the dealership only to be told they won’t do anything about anything. Lesson learned. Would not recommend. Car salesmen will be a car salesmen. More
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP I purchased my car from the Ourisman Chevrolet in Bowie a month ago, a red 2020 Toyota Camry. In that short time the brake bolts on my rear passenger side of my my car from the Ourisman Chevrolet in Bowie a month ago, a red 2020 Toyota Camry. In that short time the brake bolts on my rear passenger side of my car loosened, slipped to the front, and popped my tire. First i called roadside assistance to at least switch to my spare but the wheel lock was never put in my car. This is already gross negligence and a huge safety hazard. Because of this i had to get a tow to my dealership instead and i spent $350 to tow it to them as they said they would handle it. As soon as my car arrived however the service managers said they would not fix it, and the one i met with when i went to the dealership implied either i did something to the brake or pissed someone off. He also suggested i should file an insurance claim but I didn’t feel comfortable doing that as I am not at fault. My usage of the vehicle would not have caused my brake to slide up on my tire. Also, as a result of their negligence I could’ve lost my life and others could’ve been affected as well. I’ve never had brake bolts come loose and they couldn’t have if they weren’t already. I haven’t been in any accidents or sped over any speed bumps, nothing that would have made my brake slide around my tire. Again i stress that the wheel lock was missing from the car and that in itself is a huge safety hazard which everyone I spoke to brushed off, so they do not seem to care about customer safety. I also spoke to the sales manager, Brian reiterating my concerns. He said he would get back to me during the day Friday and he has still not contacted me. This lack of communication shows they do not have true concern for safety issues. I do not see how they can make me responsible for a mechanical failure within a month of me purchasing this car. I could’ve died since i had no knowledge the bolts could’ve even been loose until the week leading up to my flat tire. I do not believe the car was thoroughly checked before i left as they were in a rush to get me out of there to begin with. Again I never touched my brake or that wheel so how the bolts came loose is a mystery to me and with the way the service manager and sales manager responded to me trying to shift blame, I do not trust this dealership. I work at dealership myself and talked extensively with my managers, they agreed that this seemed pretty sketchy as a response especially when Ourisman is in the wrong. Not only was i endangered but i could’ve been stranded and i ended up spending more on tows because my wheel lock was never given to me. I will be sending a complaint into the Better Business Bureau as i wouldn’t want this to happen to any other customer. Freshly purchasing a car and having something of this magnitude occur is already troubling in itself but it’s clear they do not want to fix the issue. More
I called up and asked him about parts and he was rude and not helpful! not helpful! More
The service department had the car for over a week for a check engine light. They had the week before allegedly replaced the catalitic converter, but later found they only cleaned the old one even though a check engine light. They had the week before allegedly replaced the catalitic converter, but later found they only cleaned the old one even though a new one was covered by a warranty. As it turned out the engine light was caused by an exhaust leak from a pipe or hose coming out of the catalitic converter, allegedly. I called three times during the week and was never informed of this problem. When I finally made contact with the service representative, I was told of the leak and the cost would be $1077 because this pipe/hose was not covered by the warranty. Well they had my car, the key and to get it back I would have to pay. They would accept a personal check even though I was a Bowie resident for 45 years, it was a local bank and they had all my information. Company policy I was told. I had to pay by credit card for an additional fee of $30.39. the customer service at this dealership sucks. I wouldn't recommend going to establishment to buy a car or to having one serviced. More
Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, the lug nut and wheel thread were broken. Horrible service, I called and left message with the service department. The management is both deceitful and dishonest. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealership. I found a listing on CarGurus that had the sale price a little lower than the dealer This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealership. I found a listing on CarGurus that had the sale price a little lower than the dealership website listing. Very normal. I called the dealership to verify the price with Stephanie, who confirmed the price with the sales manager, Brian. I drove to the dealership to see the car and negotiated through the list of fees that they added on to the sales price. Eventually, I decided to purchase another car on the lot for a similar price. We agreed on the deal, the salesman ran a credit report, and I purchased new insurance for the car I was buying. As we were finalizing the process, Brian came over to the desk and said that he couldn’t go through with the deal. I told him we had already agreed on the price and we’re finishing the process, but he refused to let the transaction complete. After insisting that this was terrible business, I asked if he would at least sell me the original car so I could leave with something. He then INCREASED the price of the original car and would not honor the sale price that I had confirmed earlier. The next day, I called the General Manager of the store, Brad Hamilton, who was reluctant to work with me. He kept saying it was an unfortunate circumstance but there was nothing he could do to honor the original sales price. He insisted that he is not responsible for the CarGurus listing price, but I reminded him that three employees in the store confirmed that sales price to me. After multiple phone calls, he finally agreed to sell me the car for $500 over the list price, plus the tax and titling fees. When I asked for this offer in writing, the itemized list included an ADDITIONAL $500 doc fee. It’s unfortunate that dealerships can get away with false advertisement, blatant lies, and retracting deals, and customers have no power to fight back. I’m leaving this review as a warning to other buyers. More
If you want your car damaged and to have your time wasted/be lied to, here is the place to go. After bringing my 2023 Silverado in for service, upon picking the vehicle up, I found 5 dents in the bed wasted/be lied to, here is the place to go. After bringing my 2023 Silverado in for service, upon picking the vehicle up, I found 5 dents in the bed side that nobody at the dealership notified me of causing. It was only after being confronted that they “checked their cameras” and found their tech dented the truck. And it was not by accident, it was by them not being able to drive. They could not get the vehicle parked straight enough for their lift and tried to dolly the rear end and push the side of it with their hands… on a 10,000 lb truck. Suffice to say there are 5 dents in my truck. Dealing with Manager Russel and Lagos was like pulling teeth and they fought me on wanting to have the vehicle repaired elsewhere, where someone was able to confidently operate my vehicle in a parking lot and garage. After A month of this back and forth I am finally being offered a check for the repair cost only, and nothing for the hours of my time that has been wasted dealing with fighting them and arranging repair.
