Convenience and business" This is the second vehicle I purchased from Greg Fuller a new 217 Ram ProMaster low top 118 wheelbase very pleased with the vehicle I bought it betwee This is the second vehicle I purchased from Greg Fuller a new 217 Ram ProMaster low top 118 wheelbase very pleased with the vehicle I bought it between February and March of 2017 it is now November so I'm writing this review for Greg Fuller. The first vehicle I purchased from Greg was a ram CV minivan I could not afford the ProMaster at the time so Greg got me what I needed which was the ram CV which by the way I was very happy with it did what we needed but we outgrew it did not have any major problems with this van when I traded it in it had 50,000 miles on it as far as I know in a conversation with Greg it has a new home in Montana and at this time they do not make this van as they have switched to All European made vans. So I was finally able to get what I wanted the Ram ProMaster Greg helped me with that. I can't say enough good things about the ProMaster it is too low roof short wheel base and I can pretty much do anything with it that I can think up I am 511 and I can stand up in the back with no problem it has a pentastar 6 cylinder engine which I had in my first van love this engine 289 horsepower more than enough power even in the bigger van I have tow haul and can put a trailer hitch on it if I so choose I can configure this fan pretty much to how I want it it has more than enough room for what we need now and I can do other things with it seats are comfortable for long rides visibility excellent and the front big mirrors on the doors van sits high I did not really get to drive it in the snow much so I will come back with another review Once winter kicks in but I had no problems with the other van so I don't see much of a problem with this one as it has the slip differential I also have the back-up camera on this one I don't have any windows in the back or the side except for the front doors but I have no problem backing up with it for a big vehicle that also has a real tight turning radius that I can squeeze it into tight places then maneuver it quite easily. I am paying more monthly for a new vehicle but also with the vehicles of today you shouldn't have any problems my last vehicle I drove 50.000 miles and the only thing I had done to it was oil changes and wheel rotation I expect no less from this one. I consider Greg a friend and Stephens has treated me well anytime I bring the vehicles in for service I actually have a Chevy that I take to Stephens it's not only convenience I know the people now from doing business with them for 5 years. Excellent buying experience and follow up service I have been dealing with this dealer for many years, for both buying and service, and never had a bad experience. When purchasing I always found them I have been dealing with this dealer for many years, for both buying and service, and never had a bad experience. When purchasing I always found them fair dealing with little time wasted in getting close enought to my price to make deal. As to service: easy to schedule and professional. I have no difficulty giving this dealership 5 stars which I cannot say about other dealers I have dealt with. More
Unwilling to deal, bait and switch tactics. My girl friend had started to look around for a SUV, she found a black Jeep Grand Cherokee limited that she liked at Stephens. It had a tag hanging fr My girl friend had started to look around for a SUV, she found a black Jeep Grand Cherokee limited that she liked at Stephens. It had a tag hanging from the mirror stating that it was a Demo mode and had "huge savings". I accompanied her the following day check the vehicle out, get an asking price, take it for a test drive and potentially negotiate a deal. after looking at the vehicle briefly, a salesmen asked if he could assist us, we asked for a price. He had us follow him inside for a price. After a few minutes of searching on his computer, he told us the MSRP was 46,xxx and that they are selling it for 43,xxx. At this point, I mentioned that the vehicle has over 5000 miles on it, and there's currently 3,000 in rebates, how could they be asking so much for a Demo model? He excused himself to talk to the GM. He came back moments later and told us to take it for a test drive and he'd value or trade and get the best deal possible for us. During the test drive and extensive viewing of the vehicle, it was clear that this vehicle had been heavily used. We found scratches throughout on the plastic trim and a plastic panel in the trunk that was broken out of place. When we folded the rear seats down, the creases were full of dog hair and sand. We also found what looked like gum stuck to one of the seats. Looking more at the outside of the vehicle, we found a large deep scratch about 2 feet long on the drive side front bumper by the fog lights. While on the test drive, we decided to book value the Jeep, it came back with a value of 32,000-37,000. Returning from the test drive, I expressed to the sales person that we would need a very good deal to make this trade, that it's in worse condition than the vehicle we were looking to trade in (2015 WRX with 25,000 miles). He went to see the DM and came back out with an "extraordinary offer" of 42,xxx for the Jeep and giving us 15,000 for our trade-in. This not only annoyed me, it was insulting. I told the salesman that the Jeep only books for 35,000, and that our better condition trade in booked for 24,000, I then asked for our keys so we could leave. He left to go get our keys. 15 minutes later, the salesman came out with the GM who stated he had the best deal possible for us. He was willing to let his Jeep go for 41,000 and give us 19,000 for our trade in. I expressed that we were too far apart to try to make a deal, and again asked for our keys. The GM left to go get the keys and didn't come back for another 10 minutes. When he came back, he had a new deal to make and asked us to meet the owner. I stated that we had to leave to get to an appointment and that we were too far apart on prices to deal, and asked for our keys a 3rd time. The GM continued to talk about a stectacular monthly payment and wouldn't give us our keys. Finally, I interrupted him and demanded our keys. At this point, he had the audacity to ask for a counter offer to bring back to the owner. We left the facility. After a few hours, the salesman reached out via email and asked if we were still interested in the Jeep. We stated we were but not at the discussed prices. There was radio silence until the next day, when we received another email with a worse deal than the last that was offered to us. My family has bought a total of 7 vehicles from Stephens from 2012-2015. When my brother was looking in January of 2017, Stephens was his first stop. He had told me that they didn't want to deal, but my girlfriend and I decided to try ourselves. My brother was right, they refuse to deal. I am not sure what changed in their manager hierarchy since 2015, but it is a completely different business and environment now. I will never go back to Stephens again, and I will make sure my family and friends never go there either. More
