Not normal I took my truck in for issues that I think it is having with either the transmission or the engine. At low or slow speeds the truck feels like if is I took my truck in for issues that I think it is having with either the transmission or the engine. At low or slow speeds the truck feels like if is vibrating and not wanting to shift in the proper gear at the proper time. The mechanic road with me and said it is normal but he did hear and feel it as well. I have owned this truck for nearly two years and I still say something is wrong. Whatever is going wrong has caused my fuel mileage to drop off to a very noticeable difference. It is really getting worse. I do plan to bring my truck back in for this issue because I'm sure this is not normal operation as the mechanic stated. The mechanic said there were no hard codes kicked out by the computer. Well anyone knows that hard codes don't always get kicked out and there may still be a discrepancy in the vehicle's operation. It gets really old hearing ' sorry, but we could not duplicate the malfunction'. I show up and drive with the mechanic and it produces the questionable vibration and they say it is normal. Please just fix this truck and stop pushing the matter off as normal operation. More
Dishonest Customer Service Reps On Monday, October 31st, I paid $993 for service.Included in the price, was a new key FOB and programming.When I went to pick up the key fob on Saturd On Monday, October 31st, I paid $993 for service.Included in the price, was a new key FOB and programming.When I went to pick up the key fob on Saturday, November 12th, they attempted to charge me $52 for the programming.I advised that this was included per the service advisor.About 2 hours later,I was told they could not program my key FOB due to a computer issue.There was actually a technician under my hood with electrical plugs...I told them there was no way there could be something wrong with my computer. My current key FOB still worked and I had just had all that work done by them.I googled the steps for programming my key FOB this morning and completed it in less than 10 minutes.Surprise!Nothing wrong with my computer.It is a shame that dealerships take advantage of consumers this way. I realize that some "game" is part of the reality of using a dealership but this is ridiculous.They won't see me again. More
Bought a LEMON and POOR SERVICE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I purchased my Suburban form Jeff Smith. During the purchase of my vehicle, I paid to have Weather Tech Floor mat DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I purchased my Suburban form Jeff Smith. During the purchase of my vehicle, I paid to have Weather Tech Floor mats for my ENTIRE vehicle (Note: this was not something the dealership through in. I paid for them). When I didn't receive my floor mats after 3 weeks, I called the dealership and as it turns out, the sales person never ordered my mats. 2 weeks later, I received the floor mats in the mail and they were the wrong color. I had to PAY to send them back and when I asked where the cargo mat was, they said it wasn't part of the purchase. I was shocked. I once again showed my receipt where I paid for mats for the ENTIRE vehicle, which includes the cargo area. Jeff Smith refuses to provide the cargo mat. It has been 2 months since I purchased my vehicle and still do not have my floor mats. The day I got my Suburban home, the button on the passenger side seat controls fell off and the back left door began to raddle. 2 weeks after having my vehicle, the battery died. Now 2 months after purchasing my vehicle, my touch screen, which drives the radio, navigation, Bluetooth, backup camera, etc. continues to turn OFF and ON by itself. When I called the dealership about each of these items, I was told they worked when I bought it and there is nothing they can do. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! More
Not a Trustworthy Dealership! I had spoken to a salesman on the phone about a Jeep Wrangler. After confirming with his manager he said that that "we wouldn't have any problem meeting that price". We then planned a time for me to come buy the vehicle. The day that the sale was supposed to take place I called to make sure that we had a verbal agreement. This was very important because I live a good 2 hours from the dealership. When I called he assured me again that he believed it would be no problem but he would check with his manager again. The guy comes back and says that there was a "misunderstanding" and the internet price was actually their best price. I felt like they lied to me in the hopes that I would come to the dealership and be pressured to buy at their price. Also, the fact that they didn't want to move on their price at all was extremely agitating. I am glad that I didn't drive all the way down there and I am even more glad that I didn't give my money to this untrustworthy dealership! More

I had seen a 2013 Malibu online that I really wanted, so I called and asked to see if they still had the vehicle in stock. And I was told yes. And I explained my situation with one of the salesman over the phone. And then I had another guy call me back. And I explained to him what I had and what I wanted. And I advised him to take the information that I provided to him and call me back with some figures. I didn't want to waste his time or my time. Well, it got closer to 5:00pm and I never got a call back. So I called him back, and he gave me some figures and I explained to him that once we closed our shop up, we would be down there to look at the Malibu. We got to Jeff Smith Chevrolet, and saw a few men standing outside not doing to much, parked my car. And "MYRON" came over to me and asked me if there was anything he could help me with. And I explained to him who I had been speaking with about a car. He goes and gets the guy comes back out, and I met the guy in person that I had been talking to over the phone, and he advised me that Myron would be taking care of me and my husband. They already had the Malibu up and waiting for my husband and I to test drive. I was like WOW!. Myron took his time to explain everything about the car to us, which was very good. Because it showed my husband and I both motivation and determination to help us all he could. Long story short. Myron was able to give me almost twice as much for my trade in car than what Five Star was going to offer me. And was able to get me in the 2013 Malibu that I wanted. And since Myron was such a great person, we ended up trading in my husbands old truck and purchased a new 2014 Silverado Truck for my husband as well. So yes my experience with Jeff Smith has been great so far. And I would highly recommend anyone needing or wanting a vehicle to please go to Jeff Smith Chevrolet in Byron, Ga and ask to speak to "MYRON" from Byron. He will do everything in his power to help you get what you want. Great job Myron, keep up the good work that you do. Five Star Chevrolet missed out on 2 sales at one time. More
