Shady Business Practices Contacted Ahmad Khatib (owner) on 4/15/20 about a truck I was very interested in. I told him I wanted the truck and I offered to put a down payment. H Contacted Ahmad Khatib (owner) on 4/15/20 about a truck I was very interested in. I told him I wanted the truck and I offered to put a down payment. He told me no, I don't need to worry about that, I trust you, ill hold it for you. I called back again to confirm I had a pre-purchase inspection service coming out. He wouldn't allow it to be taken to a mechanic. I once again offered to put a down payment on the truck, he again said there's no need to, he’ll hold it for me. I called back again to confirm I had the inspection scheduled for first thing in the morning 4/16/20, as soon as they opened. The inspection was completed within about an hour, and I had the results. Everything came back great. I called Amar right after to tell him again that I wanted the truck, and that I am coming out to get it. I once again offered to put a deposit on it, and even asked him what I need to do to secure the purchase. He again informed me not to worry, he will hold it for me, no need for anything. A few hours later, I was off of work and home getting everything together, when I received a call from Amar, saying his "brother" sold it about an hour ago. Obviously I was not too happy about this and requested he reimburse me for the inspection I had done. He agreed to repay me, and said he will send me a check. I didn't have high hopes he would. Its been almost two months and I have not received a check or heard anything back from him. More

Wasted trip I was trying to buy a car from this dealership, called a day ahead of time. Not sure which person I spoke with (he didn’t introduce himself) but he em I was trying to buy a car from this dealership, called a day ahead of time. Not sure which person I spoke with (he didn’t introduce himself) but he emailed the the purchase order to my bank. Everything’s approved, I leave Killeen, Texas (Ft. Hood) with a cashiers check in hand to picked up the car. I get there, the dealership, doesn’t look like a dealership, it doesn’t even look like a car lot. There is not one car from the website at this place. I walk in the building, there’s not even a receptionist in the place. There’s no one there, I call the number, the same guy I spoke to answers the phone, (he didn’t give his name this time either) tells me that he sold the car the day before. I said I spoke to you the day before and you sent me the purchase order. I drove over 300 miles for nothing. Don’t bother wasting your time with this place, it’s very unprofessional and there’s no vehicles from the website on the property, from what I see, not even sure this is a real car lot. This place doesn’t rate even one star but had to give one to be able to leave comment. More

Incredible Experience!!! First off, I would like to say thank you to Ahmad (the Owner and Salesman) of Oryx Motors for such a wonderful sales transaction. I probably asked 27 First off, I would like to say thank you to Ahmad (the Owner and Salesman) of Oryx Motors for such a wonderful sales transaction. I probably asked 272 questions and called him incessantly for the better part of two months before my car arrived better than expected. I am an analyst and I spent over two years researching cars until I found the perfect car that fit my needs. As it turned out, this car was found at Oryx Motors in TX and was significantly undervalued relative to the market price of similar makes and models. This undervaluing raised red flags for me and I proceeded to call and call and hound Ahmad until he answered every last question I had to perfection. I also did my due diligence with Carfax and insurance companies to find out everything that Ahmad had said about the truck was exactly correct and checked out perfectly. He was very helpful in all aspects of the transition, explaining exactly what needed to happen and the proper steps to make for a smooth buying process. Even after all of this I still didn’t trust him (because the price was too good to be true) until I saw the car come off of the carrier! What came off of that car transport was even better than he had made it out to be. After that I was truly thankful for finding such an honest, hardworking and truthful person in Ahmad and Oryx Motors. I will never again buy a car from anywhere else, only Ahmad and Oryx Motors.
