Defective car I bought a brand new 2015 golf se the car is defective and breaks down, took it in 5 time keeps having problems and gets repair and new problems start I bought a brand new 2015 golf se the car is defective and breaks down, took it in 5 time keeps having problems and gets repair and new problems start the GM does not communicate properly with customers and does not help out I have bought many cars from them and this one one I bought with the new management and new sales crew but was very disappointed, the service crew is still good and helpfully but the GM himself is not good and I found out the car was worth less then what I paid for it. David Wood is and outstanding salesperson !!! I went to David maus vw south,on friday may 29 , around 8 pm but was closing time,for them,but David Wood came over and spoke to me,and we discuss wh I went to David maus vw south,on friday may 29 , around 8 pm but was closing time,for them,but David Wood came over and spoke to me,and we discuss what i was looking for,since was closing time i told David ,i will be back,well i went back last thursday june 4 only to look and get some info on the jetta and the passat, well 3 hours later with Davis wood ,we was doing the paper work on the 2015 vw passat. outstanding costumer service by David and all the entire staff, i will be back ,next time i need to get a new car again !!! Outstanding Service Experience My wife and I were traveling from Alabama to Disneyworld for a much needed vacation when our Passat had an electrical crisis on I-75 just south of Lak My wife and I were traveling from Alabama to Disneyworld for a much needed vacation when our Passat had an electrical crisis on I-75 just south of Lake City. After a short time on the side of the interstate the car started again and got us to Disneyworld without further incident. Not wanting to drive back to Alabama the following Saturday without getting the issue checked out, I dropped-in at David Maus VW in Orlando and met service advisor Darren Russo. After explaining the situation and showing him the video I took of the dash lights and chimes going haywire during the incident he consulted his service manager and their team jumped into action. Not wanting us to miss any more of our vacation, Darren got us into a loaner and sent us on our way keeping our Passat to fully check it out. Darren called later that afternoon to tell us the good news that they had indeed found the problem with a loose ground wire and fixed it right away. We picked our car up 2 days later when it was convenient for us and we were on our way. the drive home to Alabama was uneventful with no further issues with our Passat. The level of courtesy and professionalism shown to me by Mr. Russo and David Maus VW far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely bring my VW back to them again for servicing if I were in the Orlando area again. I only worked with Darren Russo so when you see an additional name listed as who I worked with, I didn't. This selection was a issue with this rating site. More
Great Experience I bought a 2015 VW GTI from here. It took a little bit to locate one but they did and I could not be happier with it. I bought in January and I have already 5700 miles on it. Chris Govia was a fantastic sales person to deal with. Also Gigi Sellers was the initial person I was contacted by through their website when I made a request. Both of them helped make the finding of the car to signing the final papers as smooth as possible. I will be referring any of my family and friends to go there and talk to them. More

She always responded to my emails in a timely manner, was upfront and honest about availability and cost, and repeatedly presented my terms to her manager and GM. She respected my wish to communicate exclusively by email and did not try to persuade me to settle for anything less than my exact specifications. She added a personal touch by wishing me a happy birthday when I submitted my information for a credit check. Her demeanor earned my complete trust. I am remiss that the dealership and I could not come to an agreement over financing, but in the future, if I buy a VW, I will not buy from anyone but Keyla. She sets a new, high standard for car salespeople the world over. I strongly encourage anyone in the state of Florida looking for a Volkswagen to work with her. I wish more dealership employees were as helpful, courteous, and kind as she is! I cannot recommend her highly enough. More
Always easy and convenient Because I work 50 miles away from Orlando, getting my car into the dealership and picking it up can be a logistics problem. The service folks at David Maus South always do whatever it takes to meet my schedule. My new Passat was up for its 10K mile servicing and I had asked them to fix a wind noise coming from the sunroof. Both issues were taken care of and I was called and told what was done and the car was ready for pick up. In the meantime, the salesman who sold me the car checked in with me to see if everything was good. The personal touch is always great and keeps me coming back - this is car #6 or 7, I've lost count, that I have obtained from DMS. More

They had the most reasonable on-line evaluate your trade-in software and when I submitted a request for their best price on a vehicle in stock a sales rep. called me (Keyla Veras), asked a few questions, then submitted an exact price via e-mail which include all pertinent taxes and add-ons. Therefore, when I actually visited the dealership the only haggling was for my trade-in's value, which I had printed from their website (as recommended). After a brief negotiation I ended up with even a better deal than anticipated. Everyone at the dealership was pleasant and helpful, and I left feeling like I not only gained a new vehicle but a new friend as well. More
