Missing part on delivery, no problem!!! I took delivery of my new VW GTI Friday night. I spent the weekend out-of-town showing friends and family my new car. On Saturday night I realized t I took delivery of my new VW GTI Friday night. I spent the weekend out-of-town showing friends and family my new car. On Saturday night I realized the small "cap" over the rear windshield wiper blade was missing. It had been missing since they gave me the car Friday night. I just did not realize that a piece was supposed to be there covering the bolt. I called David Maus VW over the weekend and spoke with Charlotte. I explained that the piece was never on the car when it was delivered to me. Charlotte advised me to bring the car in when I got back to town Tuesday morning. I did. Charlotte and Carlos looked at the problem and I expected to hear them say they would have to order a part for me or something. However, Carlos walked over to another GTI on the lot, took off the piece that my car was missing and put it on to my car instantly. Charlotte said they would order a new part for the car on the lot, not mine. I thought this was the epitome of good customer service. I was very impressed. I love the vehicle!! My interaction with the dealership, so far, as you can see, has been wonderful. I would definitely recommend to anyone David Maus VW South!!! More
