There are always two sides to the story. The vehicle in question is a 2008 Infiniti FX 35 with just over 104,000 miles recorded on the odometer. The vehicle was recently brought into our Orlando facility for an oil change. During the normal oil change process, we carry out a complementary multipoint inspection, replaced the front passenger airbag, (due to a recall) and conducted a complementary alignment check. During the multi point inspection it was observed that the vehicle's engine had some oil leaks emanating from the valve cover gaskets and possibly the rear main oil seal areas. The customer elected not to have these repairs done at the time. 8 days later the customer came in to buy an extended protection plan for this vehicle. Approximately 30 days after that, he returned to the service department asking that the oil leak repairs be carried out under the warranty. (Pre-existing conditions are not covered by extended protection plans). As the chronology of events will illustrate, the customer had known about the oil leaks prior, and sought to have them taken care as described. The extended plan protection company denied his claim. During this entire period, Orlando Infiniti had provided the customer with a new Infiniti loaner vehicle to drive at no expense to him. The customer has not sustained any financial loss as a result of this episode and has been offered a full refund of the cost of the extended protection plan. When returning to the dealership the customer did threaten to post negative reviews as a consequence to our unwillingness to proceed with the unauthorized repairs. This customer had no prior purchase or service history with the dealership.

Ms. Singh, As you are aware, we have reviewed the issues cited in this review with you personally. During these reviews you indicated to us that you had not attempted to clean the vehicle since the Xzilon was applied. In the terms of your agreement with Xzilon, you are required to clean the vehicle. This condition was not met. Regardless, we asked you to bring your vehicle to the dealership so that we could try to take care of your concerns for you. You declined. We also offered to process your claim under goodwill with the Xzilon. You declined that as well. Despite our attempts to help you resolve this matter, you were not willing to cooperate and as such the case was closed. If you have since reconsidered our offers, we would ask that you call us at (407) 734-2970 and ask for Brandon Brevard. We shall once again attempt to resolve your concerns as best we can.

Great damage control. Yes Amanda asked to bring my car in to take a look at it with no guarantee or goodwill to clean my car. Yes I never used any chemicals or professional products to clean the stain before it is used as a void in the service. I did wipe it immediately with a wet rag as I declared. The process entirely is such an inconvenience. Yes, I will take you up on your offer to do SOMETHING at the least and I will contact Brandon.
