Plus on top of that they took the path of nothing is wrong with the vehicle for which you are bringing it in for. Forced to take it to another dealership, they upon the first visit confirmed my concerns and are working with me to correct the problem. Advice! check your vehicle before leaving this dealership especially the face of your wheels. Better yet find another dealer for your service needs. More
Service on my Toyota was a disaster. In the last 4 months I've had to return twice to have them correct work that was done. One one case a bolt was completely missing from my exhaust manifold, the smell of exhaust fumes in the car was terrible, and the noise should have been a dead give away something was wrong. Nope, they gave it to me like that, and I had to return to have them fix it the right way. Beware a "diagnostic charge" they hit you with as well - $200 to diagnose what the problem is, if you have the work done they apply the charge to the cost of fixing it, unfortunately their repair costs usually exceed other Toyota dealers so you lose either way. One other thing - they don't tell you before hand if the work is covered by the warranty, so you might think it is, only to find out it's not and they charge you the $200 just to tell you what's wrong with your car. After they had my car for the better part of two days, working specifically under the front of the vehicle, another service center informs me that one of the CV boots is torn and the CV joint needs to be replaced. This is 2 weeks after the "trained technicians" at Toyota completely missed this - or completed failed to inform me. Either way, they'll never see my Toyota in Orland Toyota for service again More
My first service experience with my new car was a disaster. Parts they had ordered came in wrong but were never checked before I arrived to have the work done. I came back a few days later and whil disaster. Parts they had ordered came in wrong but were never checked before I arrived to have the work done. I came back a few days later and while waiting in the service customer waiting area I heard another customer being told their parts had come in wrong. Is there a pattern here? More
I bought a new 4-runner from this dealership several years ago. Last Summer I took my 4-runner in to the service department for new shocks and struts. They did not have the struts in stock and said th years ago. Last Summer I took my 4-runner in to the service department for new shocks and struts. They did not have the struts in stock and said that they must order them and that it would take 1-3 days for them to be delivered. In the mean time, I paid in FULL for parts and labor, in advance of any service. Every week for six weeks I would call and get nothing but excuses: Out of Stock, Shipment lost and no tracking number, struts sent to another dealership. On and on it went. After the seventh week, I got tired of the BS and excuses. The manager would NOT return my calls so I went and got a refund. They will never see my smiling face or get another dime from me or my family, friends or neighbors. I plan to buy a new car this year and I will purchase it through the COSTCO buying plan. They know how to treat and respect customers. More
