I brought my 2024 RAV4 for service for squeaky brakes on 12/17. I was told brakes are good and the cause is dust, cold weather, and that I shouldn’t let my car sit long periods without driving it. I have low mileage but I drive my car everyday which I told Zach, the service rep. I drove my car home and the brakes continue to squeak everyday whether the car is warm or cold. I called to make a new appt for the same reason and was told by the lady who answered my call that I needed to talk to Zach first because I was taking the car back for the same reason. She put me through to his voicemail and I left a message to call me so I could set up a new appt. In my voicemail I also informed him that I knew of a technical service bulletin reporting an update for a fix for the squeaky front breaks. I guess it been a problem dating back to some 2019 up to every year since…and that now included the 2024/25 models. I wanted to know why they didn’t apply this repair to my brakes since the bulletin came out before I first took it in for the problem. I received NO call back. I called the next day and again, NO call back. I called to talk to the service manager John and left my number with the girls who answer the phones for a call back. I called twice with NO call back. I would like this repair made to my squeaky brakes. More
I appreciate the care and servicing expertise at Orland Toyota. Also, Toyota holds its promise as it relates to warranty maintenance for my car. After the service of my car I had to bring it back because my washer fluid was not coming out and they refused to check it without me paying. Brought my Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE to Orland Toyota for the second key to be delivered and to check out the "Check Engine Light" which went on during our vacation in Florida. The OBD reader indicated the evapo second key to be delivered and to check out the "Check Engine Light" which went on during our vacation in Florida. The OBD reader indicated the evaporator purge valve is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. They also did the 15k Toyota Care (which I didn't make an appointment for) and found my alignment was way off. Since they had to order the purge valve I will return tomorrow to have it installed. I want to give a shout out to the dealer but especially to Jim Faciana who went above and beyond in treating me extremely well and keeping me informed during the entire procedure.
