Went to get the figures to buy out my lease from the dealership, so I could pass on the right loan amount to my bank to arrange my own financing. Called ahead to "schedule" an appointment the day before dealership, so I could pass on the right loan amount to my bank to arrange my own financing. Called ahead to "schedule" an appointment the day before and when I showed up, Roxanne didn't even know who I was (granted someone else scheduled the appointment for her). Next, we got there and a salesman was in her office, so we waited - then they directed another couple, out of nowhere, into her office without acknowledging us. Next, we waited for 45 minutes. After finally making it into her office, Roxanne was very nice - but things were very disappointing when I learned the truth about the maintenance plan she offered us. Long story short - we told her we'd be leaving the country, so she called someone and said we could freeze the warranty while gone so we would waste the warranty in a place it wasn't redeemable. Since nothing was in writing, we later called the warranty people who never heard of such an option. Came back with the check a few days later, as we we're signing the documents, I notice the maintenance plan term was 36 mos instead of 48, which we spoke about - we got 1 year less than the price quoted to us. She told us we had 60 days to get a full refund if the freezing option didn't pan out. Needless to say, 30 days later, I had cofirmed that the frezzing was not possible and I was outside my 30 day full refund period. I got no feedback or a call back from upper management since formally filing a complaint. I was told I would get one three days later. Overall, I felt completely misled and there was a serious lack of follow and no attempt to make me whole. More
We have purchased 2 new vehicles and 1 used vehicle at this Dealership. After numerous visits to the competition, we purchased a 2012 Highlander from Orland Toyota. This is the first time we dealt with John Davison and found him to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to answer our questions. During negotiations on the price, we never felt pressure or that our requests were unreasonable. He always was patient if we needed further explanations of a option or package, and even helped us set up our bluetooth enabled radio. We were introduced to the service manager, who took the time to explain how scheduling for service, and arranging for a loaner vehicle was done. All of this, plus our past two exposures to this dealership, confirmed to us that we had made the correct choice of not only the right sales person, John Davison, but again, the right Dealership, in choosing Orland Toyota in Tinley Park, Il. I can't fit all the things that went wrong here. They sold me a car that didn't have the features they said it would. When I went to pick it up, they pointed me to the cashier and she gave me a key. sold me a car that didn't have the features they said it would. When I went to pick it up, they pointed me to the cashier and she gave me a key. That was it. I had to find it in the lot, remove the stickers, remove all the interior plastic protectors. I had no plates, no 2nd key, no manuals. In the next few weeks, I'd have to call them over and over to find out what was going on with the add-on's they sold me originally. Once, only once, did i get a call from them. Every other (of man) "we'll call you right backs", ended with me waiting too long and calling them back. I wish I never had stepped in that toyota. I wish I could give the car back. I will be going anywhere else for service and any further help. The cashier that gives you the key is the height of their "customer service" edit: they ended up putting a 3rd party stereo with the ipod connection i wanted originally. More
I was recently rear-ended that resulted in the total loss of my car. Since my husband and I are both frugal, we decided to spend only what we received in payment for our totaled vehicle ($10,400 to be exact of my car. Since my husband and I are both frugal, we decided to spend only what we received in payment for our totaled vehicle ($10,400 to be exact). After searching for a couple weeks online, at dealerships and in used car magazines, we finally found a car that seemed like a good deal. My husband and I drove over an hour to view the car Orland Toyota had advertised in Cars Magazine. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Carlos. He was very friendly and helpful. He even seemed to go above and beyond to get us a great deal on our car. He even had the mechanic at Orland Toyota inspect the car for any problems. As one can guess, we were happy to hear (from the mechanic himself) that the car was in excellent working condition. He explained everything in detail, which made us feel confident in our prospective purchase. Needless to say, we made the purchase feeling confident both in the dealership and our decision. However, about two weeks after purchasing our car from Orland Toyota, our newly purchased car would not start. This was in October, so the weather was not a factor. Additionally, I live 4 miles away from work, so excessive driving was also not a factor. I immediately called the dealership to notify them of the problem. The manager offered to tow my vehicle back to the dealership, but was unsuccessful at finding a tow company open past 6:00 P.M. Therefore, I said I would take the car in to a local mechanic and contact them first thing in the morning to let them know what was wrong with the car. Since then, I have yet to hear back from this dealership. I've called several times requesting assistance, but without luck. I even left 4 voicemails with the management team pleading for a response. Still, I have yet to hear back from them. Thankfully, a friend took pity on us and was able to fix our car. However, the total cost of repairs was near $2,000. I truly hope this review makes it to the eyes of the management team at Orland Toyota. If it does, I'm the owner of a Cadillac CTS who is still waiting for a call back from you. More
After searching the internet and local papers looking for a low priced used car, I made the trip to the dealers of the cars I identified. After several visits with pushy and arrogant salesmen, and seeing ca a low priced used car, I made the trip to the dealers of the cars I identified. After several visits with pushy and arrogant salesmen, and seeing cars that did not match the descriptions, I was ready to give up on the search. I decided I would make one last stop at Orland Toyota on 159th. There I worked with salesman John Davidson who worked with my wife and I to show us the cars we were interested in. He took the time to ask us our requirements and to see if he had anything else that fit our needs and budget. He answered our questions in a courteous and professional manner. He did not talk down to us and was not pushy and did not try to have us look at cars that would not meet our requirements. A few days after the sale was complete I had a couple of questions about the car and John took the time to resolve the issues right away. Also, I asked John about getting a spare key for the car He said that he would see if both sets were turned in and would get back to me. Before I got home from the dealer John called my house to inform me that the spare set of keys was located and they would be ready for me to pickup. The rest of the staff there were also great. Worked with several other people/departments at the dealer and they were all very courteous and helpful. More
I buy blue compact cars for my business, Molly Maid of Southwest Cook County. I own 14 vehicles, 9 of which are Toyotas. I bought 8 of the 9 from Toyota of Orland, including 2 2011 Corollas today and 2 ea Southwest Cook County. I own 14 vehicles, 9 of which are Toyotas. I bought 8 of the 9 from Toyota of Orland, including 2 2011 Corollas today and 2 earlier in the year. I worked with Al Krajewski on every purchase. Al knows my business and what I need. There are no hassles and getting a good, competitive price is direct and timely(no checking with the guy in the back over and over). He maintains my business and credit information so Al also makes working with the financial person a breeze(Roxanne Seckus was also helpful and suggested maintenance and warranty programs that will save me money over the life of my cars). In the past year, Al has called me when the dealership had a Certified Used Car that would meet my business needs. 3 of my purchases from Al were Certified Used Cars. Over the years, I have asked other dealerships to be on the look out for good used cars. Only Al Krajewski has ever called me and saved me time and money when a quality, late model used car became available. Because Lexus of Orland is part of the Orland Dealership Family, Al has also helped us with the purchase of my wife's new Lexus ES350(yesterday). This was our 4th Lexus purchase from Lexus of Orland. I unequivocally recommend that anyone interested in buying a new Toyota or quality used car, call or visit Al Krajewski. If you do, you probably will join me and numerous other folks on Al's extensive list of extremely well-satisfied customers More
We have owned 5 Toyota's. Loved everyone of them. We like Orland Toyota and have bought our last 3 from them as the other 2 were purchased from a family members. Our sales associate was very informative, kno Orland Toyota and have bought our last 3 from them as the other 2 were purchased from a family members. Our sales associate was very informative, knowledeable, friendly, polite and just simply nice; not pushy (neither were the other sales associates the other times we purchased) which is another reason why we keep returning. I believe "neighborly" is a good descriptive. The williness to "work" with us was apparent. They even gave us a car to use while a repair was needed to the vehicle before we could take. AWESOME! We've rated the highest in all categories except for price...as we always wish we could get more for less! All and all, it's always been a great experience & we will continue to return and purchase as we believe in the Toyota vehicle and this particular dealership and employees. More
Al is the best! We have purchased two trucks from Al and will be back. Our new truck was difficult to find with the options we wanted, but Al was able to find one and we are thrilled with it. We had a specific color we wanted and it was difficult to get, but of course Al came through. He is very professional, knowledgeable and nice to work with. No pressure sales at all. He worked with us to get what we wanted and kept us informed about every step and let us know about all the rebates available for the different models. If you are considering buying a car, Al is definitely the guy to see. More
