I finally had time to bring it in yesterday, 1/4/24 only to find the tech telling me the light comes on every 5k miles and I wasn't due for an oil change for another 5k miles. They rotated my tires since I was there, but I had no real reason to take off work for this. So, please tell Toyota to chill on the idiot light and if it will turn on no matter what, maybe the "smart" vehicle can be more specific as to why the warning is on every time the car is started. Just seems like it's designed to lure you into the dealership for ~something~. More
