We secured our own financing and paid for our vehicle with a cashier's check. The finance "guy" was NOT friendly. Not only did he NOT give us the title for the vehicle we bought, but we didn't get a "t with a cashier's check. The finance "guy" was NOT friendly. Not only did he NOT give us the title for the vehicle we bought, but we didn't get a "temporary driving permit" for the window...needless to say, I couldn't get a temporary tag NOR license plates because I didn't have the title, and we couldn't DRIVE our vehicle because there was no temp. tag! We had to "sneak" it home (a 2 hour drive. When I asked Brian about a "sticker" for the window, he told me they don't give them to vehicles sold "as is". The DMV told me that they are supposed to! Now, here I sit, with a cute little truck in the driveway that we BOUGHT to DRIVE and we can't even drive it!! I will NEVER do business with Brent Brown Toyota again and I will share my experience with everyone I know! I felt like we weren't "important". More
We purchased our 2008 Sequia from them in early July, we purchased the extended warranty and we still have not been able to use. Apparently its not activated in the system. We have some minor issues with purchased the extended warranty and we still have not been able to use. Apparently its not activated in the system. We have some minor issues with the vehicle that we would like fixed that are covered by the Warranty and they keep giving us the run around. They never call us to inform us of any updates, if you leave a message with someone, they never call back. They internal customer management system is noir intuitive enough to allow all service representatives know and understand the needs of the customer, the progress of a service ticket, the status of finance and warranty data or the whereabouts of parts. I need to explain my situation form the beginning every time I talk to a representative form Brent Brown. Maui in the service department seems to be the only person that has enough knowledge of the systems to gather the information he needs to help us but he's never available or he's busy so I'm stuck with a level 2 rep that's clueless. I will never buy from them again, and unfortunately I have to have my vehicle serviced by them for the next 36,000 miles. More

Purchased a used 2005 toyota 4runner for $18,000 and dealer said it came with dvd players in headrests and heated seats. These were two things the salesman pointed out specifically as selling points whi dealer said it came with dvd players in headrests and heated seats. These were two things the salesman pointed out specifically as selling points while i test drove the vehicle with the salesman. so i checked and the driver's seat heater did function but i did not check the passenger one because i was not sitting in it. Later that night i tried the heater and found that it did not work at all. then decided to try a dvd player since i did not have a dvd with me at the dealership. the passenger side dvd player turned on but does not play the disc you insert. tried to get these items fixed over the next couple days but the dealership said they could not help me because "there wasn't enough room in the deal." So i paid for 2 heated seats and got only one... and I paid for 2 dvd players and only got one. Not to mention tires that barely passed safety requirements. I would think I should have received what was outlined in the vehicle description since they got the money that was outlined in the description. Horrible experience! even worse is that my sister, dad, brother-in-law, best friend and myself had previously bought new cars from them. You would think they would help me out since I had recommended my family to purchase vehicle's from them in the past. If you are looking for a vehicle, do not go to Brent Brown Toyota. They say they will bend over backwards for you, but is that really true? More

Review of Gephardt Approved and Brent Brown Toyota: I went to one of Bill's "approved" businesses, Brent Brown Toyota, and have never been treated so poorly by an auto dealership. Short story, they threa went to one of Bill's "approved" businesses, Brent Brown Toyota, and have never been treated so poorly by an auto dealership. Short story, they threatened to sue me when I pointed out that I felt they breached a contract. In my opinion, Brent Brown Toyota should not be on the Gephardt Approved list. The customer service manager and general manager demeaned and berated me after papers were signed. They acted unprofessionally. They told me they would rather lose money on the deal because they had a point to prove. Bill took the side of the dealership and I did not receive the Gephardt $1,000 guarantee that he promotes. Brent Brown Toyota removed my non-complimentary review and locked their Facebook website for updates. I noticed they allow positive reviews of employees but they didn't allow a negative one by a customer. I would be VERY careful about both Brent Brown Toyota and Gephardt "Approved" businesses. My opinion is that they both have credibility issues. More
I always hated car dealerships and distrusted car salesman but a few years ago I checked out Brent Brown Toyota and was surprised to find that the price they offered was lower than any other dealersh salesman but a few years ago I checked out Brent Brown Toyota and was surprised to find that the price they offered was lower than any other dealership in the state. Ever since that first experience I have been a loyal returning customer purchasing several work trucks and personal cars. I have been 100% satisfied every time. I recommend Brent Brown Toyota to anyone that is looking for a new or used car. More
Service writer John Goodman gets an A in my book. I ordered tires that were to be delivered to the dealership by 5:00 pm. The carrier missed the delivery but John saved the day. He was sensitive to t ordered tires that were to be delivered to the dealership by 5:00 pm. The carrier missed the delivery but John saved the day. He was sensitive to the fact that I drive from Ephraim for service and found even better tires and got me on the road as quick as he could. Many thanks to him and the other service people at Brent Brown. They only do what the car needs. The price is fair and the service outstanding. More
I bought a Ford excursion, the brakes were very bad and needed to replaced (drum and all). It should have NEVER passed saftey inspection. They reluctantly reimbursed me for them after a few phone calls and needed to replaced (drum and all). It should have NEVER passed saftey inspection. They reluctantly reimbursed me for them after a few phone calls and two trips to the store. Next, the oil pan was leaking badly...The Sales person told me a vehicle would not leave the lot if it tleaked. When I came back The sales manager said I should expect it to leak...after all it was used? However, they said they would fix it...when I came back to pick it up the next day they said it was fixed...It still leaks! After I thought I was over everything...my truck was rough starting while it was cold...now I think I know why it was running when I called and told them I wanted to test drive it. I just spent $2500 getting 4 injectors replaced on it...it only has 76,000 miles, which is very low for a diesel. I had to change all fluids in the vehicle from oil to transmission to the differentials($600)...none had been done. Again, the sales rep told me they had gone through and serviced everything? Now I am still waiting for my plates which were supposed to be mailed to me? I called to talk to them...the girl I spoke to could not help me becuase I was not in their system, she transferred me to someone else who sent me to her voice mail the temporary tags expire tommorrow! They finally called and said they did not have the IM in their system that was supposed to be done when they sold me the truck? Go figure...remember the part about 4 injectors being bad...My guess is it did not pass. I had the IM ran somewhere else so I could get my plates...They did say they would overnight the plates...Barb was very nice and embarrassed. Still no plates? Four days later? The Nada blue book values it at $22,500...so I guess I only paid $5000 too much after the dust settles? The good news...I finally love the truck even though it still leaks...I will spend another $300 and get that fixed and hopefully be good to go. I can't believe this dealership is Gebhart approved, Really? PS...finally got my plates! Hope I am done with these guys... More
I like Toyota vehicles, but not the sales experience (finding your car and then haggling over price). I suggest you shop 3 or 4 different Toyota dealerships for the best deal because not all dealership (finding your car and then haggling over price). I suggest you shop 3 or 4 different Toyota dealerships for the best deal because not all dealerships have the same prices or selection, and when they know you're comparing them with other Toyotas they are faster to give a better deal. I've had Toyotas before, and I used the build-your-vehicle feature on Toyota's website (so I knew what the cars could come with and for how much) but dealerships consistently told me the car I wanted was not available and could not be built OR would tell me they had the car but the Toyota 0% financing didn't apply to the car I asked about; and they tried to sell me something else as a compromise. When Brent Brown Toyota does not have what you want their salesmen promise they will call when they get the car or deal you want, but they rarely do. I didn't even lowball them on a sales figure; instead I had only said that I wanted them to offer a better price than their competitors and told them that I would go to their competitors to be certain of it. Alas, no follow-through from Brent Brown, unless I called or came back later with the same request. Other dealerships called me repeatedly until I told them I had already bought a car with a competitor. I had an Avalon to trade in, and I wanted the new car to have all the same colors and features as I already had (radar adaptive cruise, smart key with soft-touch exterior lock, nav and bluetooth; black on black) but also with the option to turn on and off the VSC, and a newer model nav. At Brent Brown Toyota a salesman named Bill McDearmot promised he could get the exact car I wanted from a different dealer; but when the car came (three hours late) it was not the color I wanted. He then began crying, and telling me he dealer-traded it as a commitment with no return option, and that he would be in trouble by his boss, and told me how he has pain from physical handicaps, and family problems in his home, and actually tried to guilt me into the car. I walked out and later learned that Bill had filed the paperwork to his boss saying I had committed to buy the car when I hadn't. When a different salesman named Jared Clayton called me I learned Bill had been fired for misconduct and they assigned Jared to clean Bill's mess and salvage a sale. By this point none of the Toyota dealerships had what I wanted and said they couldn't get it, so when Jared told me he could get it I was doubtful but intrigued. I learned that Toyota once offered black on black, but now the interior "black" is actually black-bordeau which is more of a dark red. I didn't want the red, and because they now don't even make black anymore I compromised for a gray interior. Toyota also stopped offering the radar adaptive cruise control (only had standard cruise control) on the Avalon, but at least gave the Avalon the option to turn off the VSC. Jared had a habit of promising to call me, and would give me an exact time, but then would never call me. I agreed to buy the car even though they didn't have it and needed to buy it out of their region, but I wanted it on a satisfaction guarantee. The car was delivered four days after the promise date. I then posed an idea of buying a second car for my wife: a Corolla LE with after-market nav, but Jared didn't call me back even for an additional sale. I asked for a $250 finance price range (with $0 down) and Jared initially said it would be easy to stay within the price range I wanted, but then told me it would be financed at nearly two hundred over what I wanted. Also, the "new" Corolla came with 250 miles on it. More
