I love my car but am just so so disappointed with Brent Brown Toyota. I wish I could leave a positive review. The sad thing is my wife and I were very satisfied up until we started to have all these proble Brown Toyota. I wish I could leave a positive review. The sad thing is my wife and I were very satisfied up until we started to have all these problems. We had even shared with people how great the sales rep was at helping us find a car and get what we wanted. It was all cloud nine until they got the signature they wanted. Not only was this the worst car buying experience I have ever had. This was the worst service, most completely uncaring, unprofessional, experience I have ever had with any type of purchase I have ever had in my life. I never write reviews, but over the months of trying to work with Brent Brown Toyota I have been let down time after time after time. I could not help but write this review in hope that it will save someone the bitter troubles I have had to deal with and am still dealing with. First reason. We were there many hours trying to get a price negotiated for a used scion. A price was finally agreed upon and all the math was written out on a paper we were using with the sales rep with the final price we were willing to pay and the one he "accepted". By the time we were able to get into meet with the guy who helps us sign all the paper work it was after midnight. The Gentlemen stated that since it was so late he was going to take the quick route though signing the papers and getting it all done. He FLEW us thought the papers. We felt very rushed. Sign here sign here and here and here. After all was done we were very happy to be leaving with our now purchased car! A little while later when we get our first bill we noticed that the overall pice of the car was 2,000 dollars more then what we had agreed upon!!! We were very shocked and went into talk to the manager about this and were prepared to do what ever we could to get this fixed. Even if that meant reversing the sale and giving the car back. They literally said "LIFE ISNT FAIR" and said there was nothing they were going to do about it because it was the price we agreed upon. I then explained that the price we agreed upon with the service rep was supposed to be the overall total, taxed and fines all added up and taken into account as we had discussed, but now there was an extra 2,000 on top of that. He then said that the price that we signed for and agreed to was not the final price and was a pre-tax/fine amount. He then showed us tucked away in one of the many many pages of the contract a total price. He then said, you signed it and were not going to do anything about it. I Tried to explain that the guy who was helping us through signing the contract was rushing us an incredible amount and said that he was going to even "skip some not as needed parts" because it was so late, already past midnight, and that we were never shown that part or it was at least had it flashed past us very fast. Neither me nor my wife saw this number we tried to explain and tried to even get the help of the gentleman who sold us the car but he would not offer help either. I felt like we had been duped into a extra 2,000 and now we were being hung out to dry. Not one word of help or sympathy. And it doesn't end there. When we get the car home and look under the mat in the back of the car where the spare tire is its incredibly filthy. It looked like someone had dumped a thing of soda recently in the back and we found tons and trash and even a knife. The real reason this was upsetting was they told us when we picked it up from them it would be clean. And it doesn't end there. Later a part in my car broke when I went to use it. I took the car back to them because the car came with a bumper to bumper warrenty. They checked what broke and said that it will be fixed FREE of charge and they would call me in 5 days when they have the part. I left happy that something actually went kinda smooth. After two weeks of not hearing from them I call and spake to a John. He told me that the part was never ordered. He finds the records saying it was supposed to be but never was. He then orders it for me and says he will call me when its in. I, understanding that mistakes are made, was fine and waited for his call. About a week later I get a message from John that the part was in and to call him. I call back and leave a message that I was returning his call and for him to please call me back so we can schedule a time to get it fixed. I never hear from him. By that time it was Christmas season and didn't have time to go get it fixed so waited until after the holiday to call again. I do, and get in the following week to get it fixed. I arrive and am told that I have to pay $50.00 for the part. I told him that when I was there last time I was told that it was covered by my "bumper to bumper warranty" and that it would cost me nothing to get it fixed. He said that there was NOTHING they could do in a very unpleasant manner. I being somewhat aggravated and upset about another lie, debated with him for a few minutes on the matter. He said that they guy who told me that it was completely covered by my bumper to bumper should not have told me that. I tried to explain that it's not my job to know what the service reps are supposed to tell people or not; and that since it was told to me that it would be free, not to mention it wasn't ordered until two weeks after it was supposed to be, they should have good customer service and keep it free for us. I having worked in customer service before know that a company can eat fifty bucks to keep a customer happy, especially when dealing with things where $50.00 is nothing to them. I managed to get him down to $25.00. Still a business that had any kinda customer service would not hesitate to cover something so simple for a customer. My experience leaves me feeling like all I was to them was a big check and nothing else. More
Vehicle wasn't what Shane talked about, water came inside vehicle from holes where a rack once was, It damaged the interior sealing of the vehicle. when I tried to talked to him of why he sold me a ca inside vehicle from holes where a rack once was, It damaged the interior sealing of the vehicle. when I tried to talked to him of why he sold me a car like that, he simply got up and walked again when I was still talking and demanding and explanation or the least an apology. Sheldon is exactly the type of person with whom I like to deal. I explained what I was looking for. He showed me what inventory there was that fit my description. There was no pressuring to sell me one ca deal. I explained what I was looking for. He showed me what inventory there was that fit my description. There was no pressuring to sell me one car over another. When we found the right car, I had my trade-in appraised. It came in $500 more than another dealer in Orem where I had checked for a car (not Toyota). Sheldon was patient while overnight my wife and I considered the financial commitment needed to purchase the car. I had hoped for a little more "give" in the price but went ahead. I would request Sheldon every time I have a car purchase need at Brent Brown Toyota. You are fortunate to have this a customer friendly/savvy floor manager in your organization. I would recommend him to any of my friends who are looking to purchase a car--new or used. More

We were very nervous to go to a dealership when we needed to buy a car to replace ours that no longer works. Our last experience with a big name dealership was SO BAD and left such a horrible memory with us to buy a car to replace ours that no longer works. Our last experience with a big name dealership was SO BAD and left such a horrible memory with us (for over a year now) that we swore we would never go to a dealership again. However, after searching around for a minivan that we could afford, that was in good - clean shape ... and driving a lot that were none of these things, I found this van on the internet late on a Saturday night. I emailed the address on the posting and didn't think we would do anything else with it at that point. Taylor, at Brent Brown called me first thing Monday morning. She was very pleasant and let me vent a little about our last "dealer" experience - and she was understanding and genuine about it with me. I told her we would come drive the van and we didn't want to sit at any desk or table and that we would let them know if we were interested after we had time to talk it over. She said she would pass on the information to the salesman that was over that van. We arrived and were totally surprised to find that Sheldon already knew our name and was expecting us. He had the key ready for us to test drive the van - no questions, no pressure, no unpleasant "dealer" tactics that we encountered at the other place. We were allowed to test drive without the pressure of a sales person riding with us, we were allowed to take the van to our mechanic to have it looked over (almost a two hour event - between taking the car, getting in to our mechanic and getting back to Orem to the dealership). The best part was, my husband stated what we would need to happen and what price we needed to walk out the door and Sheldon Williams came through - perfectly!! THANKS BRENT BROWN for a very pleasant car buying experience!! More
I live 549 miles away. The drive to your dealership is over 8 hours. I drive that length of time because Todd Robinson listens to what I have to say and makes me feel that I am getting the best deal possi over 8 hours. I have been to this center twice, worked with Mike Black both times, and I am super impressed. When Mike discovered my "Just in Case" box in the trunk with oil, coolant, and a first aid kit, he took a real both times, and I am super impressed. When Mike discovered my "Just in Case" box in the trunk with oil, coolant, and a first aid kit, he took a real interest. He ran out to his vehicle to grab a mini air compressor to show it to me. He encouraged me to get one so if I have a slow leak I won't be stranded but will be able to pump up the tire and drive to help (or at least to civilization and safety). I waited for my car to be done and it was done within the timeframe they estimated. They were even 10 minutes early. He walked through the report with me and told me how the air pressure in the tires was getting low because of the cold weather. He told me what it should be at so I can keep an eye on it. He also answered all of the questions I had thought of since my last visit. The other thing I was really impressed by was Brent Brown. He was walking around the service center personally delivering paychecks to his employees and making sure they and their families were all doing well. What a neat place to have your car serviced.
