During this time frame I and,or my husband and I have purchased 6 automobiles beginning with a SkyHawk in 1977, a Rivera in 1984, a Skylark in 1993, a Century in 1998, a Century in 2002 and a Lucerne in 2008. We have always received excellent service from the service department as well as the sales department. As Service Director, John Baumgardner has always been available to answer any and all questions we may have. He is very honest, efficient, professional and friendly. He is never too busy to take time to speak with us whenever we are there. The service advisors have also been very efficient, friendly and helpful. The repairs and/or maintenance on our automobile have always been done in a very timely mannner and done well. Our sales persons, Scott Roberts and Steve Williams, were always honest and helpful in assisting us in finding the perfect automobiles for our needs. All of our experiences with this dealership have been superb. We will continue to utilize this dealership for all of our purchases and repairs. He told us to call or come in if we have any questions and that he would be more than happy to go over any more questions we might have. This is our 3rd car we have purchased at this dealership. We have dealt with Fred Asher in the service department for years with our other vehicle and have received great service. That is one of the reasons we wanted to purchase another car here. Much of our negotiation was done on-line, prior to setting foot in the dealership which made the car transaction easier. I do wish that we had the extra warranty information prior to signing the pape setting foot in the dealership which made the car transaction easier. I do wish that we had the extra warranty information prior to signing the paperwork. Otherwise, the transaction was quick and smooth. Leslie did a great job of explaining the vehicle features and pointing out differences between the vehicle we chose and other we were considering. Buying a new vehicle is always painful too me (far too much time spent at dealerships waiting around), but this experience was not too awful. Kudos to Leslie for a job well done. More
Went to the dealership under duress as had personally decided on a Honda. She, after seeing the Honda's, convinced me to go next to the Buick dealership and at least look at the Buicks and check them ou decided on a Honda. Having had a previous very bad experience at this particular Buick dealership (with service, not sales) was determined not to go but this was the dealership SHE wanted to go to. Was VERY pleasantly surprised at the friendliness, professionalism, courtesy and pride of product when I arrived at Orange Buick of Orlando. Granted, the dealership is rather shabby and rundown as is hardly in what would be considered a better part of Orlando, still the way we were treated made all else pale by comparison. Would hardily recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new vehicle. Would also recommend the Buick line as Detroit and GM have apparently awakened and appear to be producing a car one is literally PROUD to drive. I personally drive a 2010 BMW 535i yet am seriously considering trading on a Buick myself as liked what I saw. Love the way her new Lacrosse drives and feel it is a GREAT vehicle for the money. BTW, we purchased this vehicle on a Sunday but did not complete the transaction until Monday as the dealership needed a bank check rather than a personal check for the purchase price and was unable to do so on a Sunday. Did not realize we both needed to be at the dealership in order to sign for delivery......so Mike Sweeny went the EXTRA mile and went to our home in order to obtain her signature, thus effectively saving me from going back and picking her up or her going down on her own. This is professionalism, courtesy and concern for the customer which is totally unheard of! Kudos to this dealership, kudos to Mike Sweeny, kudos to GM/Buick and kudos to ME for listening to her and caving in. Was the best thing I ever did!! LOL More
We purchased our 2010 Acadia in September and it was the nicest car buying experience I have ever had. Thomas was great, patient and honorable. My car has been in service for 10 days and still not fixed. The service rep Fred claims they are working on it night and day? No call backs or any explanations except they are working on it. I am certain the folks that are technicians are very qualified.Not sure why this dealership is so backwards,they lack any customer service skills or empathy no one has attempted to get on the phone with me or make this a priority they just don't give a care. I have never had this problem with GM and have bought many automobiles from them,I will never go back to this dealership or ever refer anyone to buy there or use the service dept as a matter of fact use them at your own risk. This is a poorly run organization and people wonder why the American car companies are struggling it's because of the we don't give a shit attitude these folks have that I recommend you stay away from Orange GMC. More
