I brought my VW Tiguan to their service center because my roof was leaking when it rained. I thought I had more time on my warranty but I arrived they informed me that I had a few more months on my warranty roof was leaking when it rained. I thought I had more time on my warranty but I arrived they informed me that I had a few more months on my warranty but it was over the mileage (understandable). They said my best bet was to file a claim with my insurance and I should just have to pay for the diagnostic cost (and my deductible). I started the claim process with insurance while I left the car for the diagnostic test. They ran the car under a shower to find the source of the leak but called to tell me they couldn't find a leak, no water was coming through. I then sent over pictures from the last time in rained showing a huge water stain on my roof and water dripping on the dash. From these pictures they decided that the drains around my sun roof needed to be cleared, and "since insurance was paying for it" the drains should also be replaced. Again, this was after finding nothing from their own ($280) diagnostic test. They then sent a quote of over $4,000 for the repair and replacement of the drains, $3,000 of which was just labor cost. They quoted 12 hours of labor. While I was waiting for a response to the quote from my insurance company something wasn't sitting right with me. The exorbitant cost aside, the representatives use of the phrase "since insurance is paying for it" to justify the replacement of the drains made me think I was being quoted for more work than I needed. Even if my insurance did cover the bulk of the charges, I was still looking at a $500 deductible on top of that diagnostic fee. After a few calls I ended up bringing the car to a mechanic I trusted to get a second opinion. He spent an hour with the car and told me there was nothing wrong with my drains at all, that there were actually cracks in the plastic lining of my sunroof and that was how the water was leaking in. It cost me $250 and two hours of labor (he put a polymer in to seal the cracks). VW was going to charge me $4000 for a problem I didn't have. I know that I can expect higher labor costs and an up sell on services when I bring my car to a dealership service center over a local mechanic, but this was above and beyond. They would have charged me that crazy price and I still would have had a leaky roof! More
Complete Bait Switch advertising by VW. I received several letters, one a month, offering increased price for my car. Finally I took the car in today in response to a letter offering up to $24k for my car. A car with only 5k miles per year and in tip top condition. When i went there Andre Rosales offered $17k without any reason except some lame excuse about market crashing...and basically told me to leave when I was mid-sentence "thank you for coming". I understand "upto" doesn't mean full price, but "upto" doesn't also mean a 30% reduction in original offer for no valid reason. Be aware. More
Avoid at all costs. Bought a car and a CNA Preferred Tire Care Contract for tire and wheel which they denied when they had to replace a tire. CNA confirmed the validity of the contract and the Sales Manager Care Contract for tire and wheel which they denied when they had to replace a tire. CNA confirmed the validity of the contract and the Sales Manager Andre Rosales is denying that I have tire coverage, then he argues that the VIN number on the contract is wrong. I will fight it until I get my money back. More
Although my car ended up being totaled in the end I can't thank Liza and the folks at Open Road VW enough. They constantly followed up with my insurer and kept me informed through the process. thank Liza and the folks at Open Road VW enough. By far the worst experience i have had with a dealership service department. Had to bring in for multiple recalls and told them I needed my car by end of the day. I called at 3PM and they told me it wont be service department. Had to bring in for multiple recalls and told them I needed my car by end of the day. I called at 3PM and they told me it wont be ready until 4pm the next day. Admittedly angry I had to have the associate tell me "I understand you are angry" I got a call from the GM Anthony the next day accusing me of cursing out one of the employees and was told to not come back there. 1. I never cursed 2. Anthony should get his facts straight before ripping into anyone let alone a customer 3. Never going back to that horrendous service is probably the easiest one I have ever made More

We put down a dep would highly recommend the efficacy of their sale staff. Ling was amazing! She was efficient, responsive and truly took care of us. We put down a deposit swiftly on a great gem of a car, and Ling closed the deal for us in the most perfect way. She has great charm, and made it a memorable experience. Our car rocks! It was a 2010 Beetle in pristine condition with only 15K miles, we are loving it! Thanks Ling and Brian for all your help! More
This dealership offers the worst deals around. They're all profit for the dealership and loss for the customer. They employ the bait and switch technique. Jacob calls repeatedly and offers one deal, even all profit for the dealership and loss for the customer. They employ the bait and switch technique. Jacob calls repeatedly and offers one deal, even takes credit card info using the high pressure technique of claiming the car will be sold in days so better hurry, then Anthony calls to say he won't honor Jacob's representations. However, this dealer sought to buy my coveted car, that other dealers offered to buy and in exchange waive all upfront costs for a 2021 model, while the lousy deal offered was for me to forfeit the $10k in equity I invested at the dealer's profit and to lease a year old car, charging more up front than when I leased my VW new and paying a higher monthly lease rate on top! Unbelievable. Another words I was to get nothing for offering to let this dealer buy the lease as the residual price, thousands below its sale value. All the while Jacob is pressuring the customer and promising a match with what I paid upfront before, which is still a lousy deal considering the consideration of my car to buy at the residual price, which I put added money into unnecessarily due to false claims of needed work by this own dealer's service center. Several non dealers confirmed the work was unneeded. At least I didn't do everything they wanted to make a profit on. Service at this dealer makes up work to do and offers no discounts whereas discounts on the same work are available at other area dealers. It is ignorance to buy or service here. The undiscounted price of a year old car here is more than the discounted price in the are of brand new cars. Once before I was going to buy based on an internet price. I called the next day and the manager denied the price. The price increased. The sales managers here don't stay around long. Take a drive to another dealer. Anthony should have honored Jacob's offer at least under agency law. Jacob bound his principal but what he failed to honor was a lousy deal. Anthony wanted to make it even lousier. This place is dishonest and lacks integrity. They rob you blind. More
I purchased a car from this dealership 2 months ago, cash, and still have yet to receive my registration, which is over a month expired at this point. When I try to connect with Open Road, I'm sent to v cash, and still have yet to receive my registration, which is over a month expired at this point. When I try to connect with Open Road, I'm sent to voicemail with a generic greeting. The sales agent won't respond to my emails or phone calls anymore, either. Really disappointing customer service and I would not recommend working with this dealer. More
