This group made everything easy and smooth. I came from Raleigh NC to see family not thinking I could make this happen and without a second though they did. I came from Raleigh NC to see family not thinking I could make this happen and without a second though they did. More
We are repeat customers of Opelika Ford due to positive experiences in the past. However, our last visit to them in March left us angry and extremely disappointed. Our salesman, Justin Dunn, was great as a experiences in the past. However, our last visit to them in March left us angry and extremely disappointed. Our salesman, Justin Dunn, was great as always. He set us up with a new 2024 Ford Bronco. Once we began to discuss terms with finance our problems began. We went into the deal with a pre-approval from our bank. We were told by finance that our bank wouldn’t finance the deal due to an off-road package that was on the vehicle. Come to find out there is slight truth to this, the dealership cannot finance this through our bank, but we can personally. We were not given either option. We were told that the only option was to use Truist at a much higher interest rate. Reluctantly we went forward. We were made to sit in finance for well over an hour. The finance guy, honestly seemed like he didn’t want to be there. He even made a comment when we asked if everything was okay, “oh you know just wishing I was big money like you…two cars in less than three months.” My wife and I were extremely uncomfortable as he clicked very quickly through each section, mumbling through the explanations. We were tired and ready to go but really should have just walked out, and that is our own fault we didn’t. We continued and left with the vehicle that day. On Monday we reached out to our bank because we felt like we had been screwed over. They confirmed they could have done the loan at the pre approved rate we expected with the off-road package on the vehicle. We went back into the dealership and asked for management, we explained we felt lied to and manipulated. We have excellent credit and are repeat customers and this whole experience has been unacceptable. The sales manager stated the difference between the financing options (with and without the off-road package) and that we would have had to do that through the bank, but they could not. He also confirmed that the rate we were given was the lowest rate with Truist. He said the loan was already funded and there was no going back. Nothing was offered regarding our experience other than, next time just ask for the sales manager when you are pre-approved. Fast forward one month later, I go to get my payoff amount from Truist so my bank can refinance and the rate I wanted originally, the Truist banker tells me we could have gotten you TWO POINTS LOWER based on your credit. He continued to tell me that it should be a crime that the finance at dealerships can do that to customers. We will never return to this dealership! They advertise, “At our dealership, we have devoted ourselves to helping and serving our customers to the best of our ability.” In our opinion they did not serve us to the best of their ability. Instead, they served themselves by lying and manipulating customers who would have been lifelong. I hope this review deters other hard-working people in our area from experiencing the same thing! This was of no fault to our salesman and if he ever goes to another dealership, we will follow him. However, the finance and management are highly lacking and very dishonest. Don’t trust them. More

By far the WORST experience I have ever had with a service department. They lied to me multiple days in a row that someone was diagnosing my car only to find out on the fourth day that no one had laid service department. They lied to me multiple days in a row that someone was diagnosing my car only to find out on the fourth day that no one had laid eyes on my car yet… Also, Heather was extremely rude when I went in to try and pick up my car. It was apparent she had no interest in doing her job, and my conversation with her was definitely one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and take your car anywhere else for service! More
I drove from Montgomery to purchase a truck after seeing it online at Cars.com. I confirmed it was there and the Cam would be taking care of us. My son and I test drove it and they worked up a sheet based o it online at Cars.com. I confirmed it was there and the Cam would be taking care of us. My son and I test drove it and they worked up a sheet based on the numbers that were advertised at full asking price. Their offer for my trade was extremely low. They came up $2,000 on it but it still wasn't good enough. I told them I was going to see if I could sell it myself. We left around 3pm and kept in contact with Cam by text. At 5:07 PM I let Cam know that I had worked out a deal to sell my trade in and that if he would proceed with the purchase at the asking price we had agreed on. He replied that he would work on it first thing in the morning. I messaged him at 7:30AM the next day and told him I would be there at 1PM to sign paperwork and pick it up. At 9:22AM he texted and said the price has changed. They wanted $4k more for the truck. I was livid. I've sold my vehicle and now they want me to pay more than was advertised and agreed on the day before. I called Cam and reminded him that we already had a deal at that price and he said the deals changed. I asked who was making this decision and was told it was Mike Chandler the Used Car Manager (Cam's mentor as he had told me the day before). I called Mike to appeal the decision. He said the price was advertised in error and that since I didn't have a trade any longer they can't make enough money off the deal so I would have to buy it at the new price. I have also called Jeremy Hicks the general sales manager and have left two messages that have not been returned. More
