I was contacted by Nissan regarding a recall. When I contacted Martin Nissan, I was told that "this is a fresh recall" and they "don't have a solution at this time", despite the notice being weeks old a contacted Martin Nissan, I was told that "this is a fresh recall" and they "don't have a solution at this time", despite the notice being weeks old and the steps to remedy the problem being outlined in the notice. The dealership wouldn't let me make an appointment and said they would contact me in several weeks. I contacted Nissan North America customer service who then contacted the dealership. The customer service rep was told the dealership didn't have the parts at this time. Which is it? More

Nickel and dime you without performing the work This has been an absolutely horrible experience the past several times i have brought my car in for service. I will forever be warning people to stay far away from Martin Nissan if they ever want to be treated fairly and with respect. At every turn, Martin Nissan in Skokie will try to screw you out of any money they can. They have dented my car and it took months to get them to fix it, they claimed to have replaced a tire sensor but never did, and now they are going back on the contract agreement that they signed with me when I purchased my car in the first place! What kind of people do you have running your service department! Where are all of the honest people? How is it that you believe it would be ok to charge one of your long standing clients, someone who has purchased and driven business your way since before 2008 with such disregard! My car has always received full synthetic oil and for free as this was part of the deal to purchase the car in the first place. Now you want to charge me for requesting the SAME service that has been provided to my car since its purchase in 2008. Until you completely revamp your service department, I cannot consciously suggest anyone to every go here. They will nickel and dime you any way they can, cheat you on parts, and claim to provide services that were never done. If you visit there once and you have an issue with your car, go somewhere else and have their worked checked. Several other places that have checked Martin Nissans work on my car will state that the issue I am experiencing is because nothing was done or it was improperly done and they cut corners to do a quick bandaid fix. 100% the worst. More
