We brought in our new Passport Honda Elite to the dealership to remove a scratch on a door and to fix the edge guard on all doors. They provided a civic loaner car where the service advisor was very thorough in expressing our responsibilities for the car. Even stating that if a tire blows out I'm responsible for it. We inspected the car for damages and took pictures. Half way to San Diego the tire pressure warning light came on in the car. We tried to find a gas station with a working pressure meter and were unable to find one. We went to a discount tire store where the young attendant with a proper meter diagnosed that all the tires were set at 40psi. I asked him what they should be set at and he said 32 or 33psi. Well, he fixed the problem. The warning light was fixed. We went back to the dealership to have a conversation with the service advisor. I told him what a coincidence that you stated if a tire blew out I'd be responsible and I explained how all the tires were inflated at 40 psi. I told him by the way you owe me $10.00 for correcting the tire pressure on the vehicle. The service advisor flew off the handle at the customer, me. He said in a loud voice go to my service manager which I did and explained how unprofessional his service advisor was. I explained to the service manager how disappointed I was about the whole situation and how was I suppose to have confidence in his dealership in the future. He tried to reassure me but I am not satisfied. That's why I have decided to write this letter. I thought Honda prided itself on safety. Lets assume one of the tires blew out on your loaner vehicle and me and wife were injured. The authorities would find out that the tires were over inflated and you Honda Corp would have a big lawsuit on your hand. Thank God that did not happen. However, in the future it would be better if you checked out your loaner cars and made sure they are safe prior to loaning them to customers. I hope you will refund my $10.00 dollars. Thank you. The detail job they did on my Honda Passport Elite was full of finger prints and smudges on the windows. If you would like pictures, I will provide them. I am also cancelling my maintenance service contract because of this incident. I've owned Hondas all my life and never have experienced such negative interactions with service advisors. Drive to another delership I stopped by here on a Friday morning looking for a specific car. I parked, walked around the cars enjoying the fact that I was not bombarded by salesmen. But then I had questions so I walked into the side door of the building it is was quiet as crickets. I walked 1/3 way in and saw no one, so I Walked out. Looked around a bit more and got back in my car as an older man in a straw hat came to peer out the door. Saturday I brought a friend that was a male. Low and behold, before we were out of the car, a salesman was on us. Our experience went downhill from there. He answered our questions and we test drove a car. During that time we learned more about him then I know about some of my friends. The whole time the conversation was peppered with language that would make my mother blush. At one point I told him I wouldn't talk tat way -and he continued. Unbelievable. Once inside I reluctantly gave him my cell # because I was interested in the car. I told him I had things to do but would come back in 3 hours. I also told him I would give my # but not to call me a thousand times. He promised he would not. In that time I had 5 texts from him or other people at the dealership and one call. Talk about overkill. We did go back in and felt like prey - too heavy on the push. No matter how much I may have liked a car - that was more than I could handle, I will drive to another Honda dealership. I have blocked all calls and will not mention any names because they do have my info. I have visited several dealerships in my cat hunt - this dealership is the epitome of car salesmen. Worst Dealership Absolute worst dealership and customer service (or extreme lack of) I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I would caution you to even consider buy Absolute worst dealership and customer service (or extreme lack of) I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I would caution you to even consider buying or especially leasing any car from this location-it will be a complete nightmare. And don’t even bother calling them because they will give you the run around and forward you to people’s voicemails, that is unless you want to buy something of course. These people will make you think they care about you as a customer, then waste your time for hours to tell you there’s nothing they can do. And make sure you read the fine print/contracts carefully, because when you call for information they will misinform you. I would definitely caution you to ever deal with the sales manager there named Aoude. When asked what I was signing, for dropping off my car at the end of my lease, he couldn’t produce paper documents for me. He just wanted me to sign a screen on his cellphone. After everything I had been through I told him I didn’t trust them, so he went ahead and signed my paperwork FOR ME and said “ok I’ll just mark the paperwork like you weren’t here.” Don’t trust him, and demand your paperwork. These guys have no integrity, are incompetent, but rude, and only care about taking care of you if you’re purchasing a new car. Truly disappointed in this location as I have purchased cars for over 30 + years at one of the owner’s other locations up North. More

After driving 45 minutes to buy the car at the initial offer we were extremely frustrated and treated as if we were still getting an amazing offer at $2k more. If the manager was honest up front about the pricing we would have never made the drive, which is likely why they were so dishonest about the price initially to lure us in. Needless to say we purchased from another dealer for a lower price and honest service. Save your time and money and don't buy from Ocean. More

Bullying by the General Manager Salesperson was nice and personable, I feel sorry he has to work at this dealership. When we were getting up to leave the General Manager started to sound like an auctioneer; dropping the price to no cash down & $300 (after subsequent drops in price). This was a good deal, but after the experience I expected that they would further jerk us around. General Manager had an attitude of a drill sergeant, demanding we make an appointment to come back and bad mouthed the other manufacturer of car we were interested in; which we have owned before. It was an odd experience. They waste your time and I felt like there were better places to buy a car. Additionally they coat all their cars with some kind of clear coating (that can be seen quite easily) and have locks on the wheels which raised the price of the car by $2000. More
