Pushy and predatory When you keep in mind that a dealer's object is to sell cars, you won't be surprised that they do not focus on what is best for the customer. attentive, gentlemanly salesperson Wife and I did NOT intend to purchase an auto our first time shopping. I bought a car last 13 years ago, and she about 5. We both have Toyotas, which have been carefree to drive. Our salesperson was standing out in the rain to welcome us. He listened to our needs and took great pains to find two pre-driven autos on hand. One required repainting from a door having been keyed. The other (each a Prius) was on hand. We took a test drive, and our salesperson showed us the auto's features. When we thought we might shop around elsewhere, our salesperson Mo pulled up similar models at dealerships in a 50-mile area. We decided that we had a nice certified auto. We ended up buying. If we could have future salespersons all similar to Mo,. we know we will have been well-served. More
My Car Buying Experience I went into a dealership near my home in Countryside IL and the sales person that met with me when I arrived made me feel like I was wasting his time. I went into a dealership near my home in Countryside IL and the sales person that met with me when I arrived made me feel like I was wasting his time. He even mentioned that people don't walk into dealerships and buy cars they search on line. So I took his advice and found a van I was interested in on line and that took me to Oakbrook Toyota. My sales consultant was Syed Mustafa and he was wonderful. Very polite, informative and he immediately put me at ease. I wanted the van when I did a test ride but I hadn't received the ok from my insurance company that my car was totaled. Mustafa spoke with Cesar Meraz the sales manager and agreed to hold the van until the next day. My car ended up being totaled and I came back and purchased the van the following day. Every person that I spoke with at the dealership was so professional and went out of there way to answer all my questions. I had my 6 year old granddaughter with me when I came to pick up the van and she wasn't in Mr. Mustafa's office for 3 minutes and she had a bottled water, popcorn and a huge balloon which put a huge smile on her face and mine. I then ran into an old friend Joe Perry as he was leaving for the day. He made sure that I was well taken care of and he was still checking on me 45 minutes later, so much for going home! I would recommend your dealership to my friends and the next time I am in the market I will be back. More

Since I had never owned or driven an SUV I wanted more time to shop & compare. Before leaving Alex introduced me to the finance manager to whom Alex had already explained my needs. Although I was not ready to buy that day neither Alex or the FM Manager made me feel like I had been an inconvenience. So after visiting a several other dealerships & test drives I decided on a Certified Toyota. Since my initial visit to Oakbrook Toyota was a pleasant one I decided to go back with a specific car in mind. Alex Turk was not available however Clinton Scott was able to assist. Clinton also was very knowledgeable, friendly and HONEST! I purchased a 2014 RAV4 that night. The entire team at Oakbrook Toyota was awesome. This was my 3rd car purchase from a dealership and the best experience ever. I highly recommend buying a car at Oakbrook Toyota. More

Easiest car buying ever My husband, daughter and I went in on Saturday, 20 minutes before closing. Admittedly, I had done a lot of homework on the car we wanted, and we were ready to buy a used 2011 Camry we saw at another dealer. On a lark, we decided to stop by Oakbrook of Toyota to see a 2011 Camry that was similar in price and mileage. We just wanted to compare the condition and wear and tear. We liked the car and figured if the people at Oakbrook of Toyota could meet the price the other dealer was offering, we could save a trip back up to the Northwest suburbs on the following Monday. Once I showed our sales man, Jaime, the price of the other car, we asked him if he could meet their price. We had a little bit of the typical back and forth negotiation with Steve, the manager, but in the end, we were really happy with the deal we got and our experience with Steve and Jaime. We left with the Camry about an hour after arriving. So easy. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a car, new or used. More
