Since I had never owned or driven an SUV I wanted more time to shop & compare. Before leaving Alex introduced me to the finance manager to whom Alex had already explained my needs. Although I was not ready to buy that day neither Alex or the FM Manager made me feel like I had been an inconvenience. So after visiting a several other dealerships & test drives I decided on a Certified Toyota. Since my initial visit to Oakbrook Toyota was a pleasant one I decided to go back with a specific car in mind. Alex Turk was not available however Clinton Scott was able to assist. Clinton also was very knowledgeable, friendly and HONEST! I purchased a 2014 RAV4 that night. The entire team at Oakbrook Toyota was awesome. This was my 3rd car purchase from a dealership and the best experience ever. I highly recommend buying a car at Oakbrook Toyota. More

Admittedly, I had done a lot of homework on the car we wanted, and we were ready to buy a used 2011 Camry we saw at another dealer. On a lark, we decided to stop by Oakbrook of Toyota to see a 2011 Camry that was similar in price and mileage. We just wanted to compare the condition and wear and tear. We liked the car and figured if the people at Oakbrook of Toyota could meet the price the other dealer was offering, we could save a trip back up to the Northwest suburbs on the following Monday. Once I showed our sales man, Jaime, the price of the other car, we asked him if he could meet their price. We had a little bit of the typical back and forth negotiation with Steve, the manager, but in the end, we were really happy with the deal we got and our experience with Steve and Jaime. We left with the Camry about an hour after arriving. So easy. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a car, new or used. More

I know I was a difficult customer and wasn't able to be persuaded into an easier model to get, but they gave me realistic expectations. Disappointed I came in to test drive and possibly buy a new Scion iA. I was disappointed with the salesman. He didn't really do much to sell the car; I had to take the initiative to ask about most features. When it came to the radio, he didn't even know how to tune it! I figured it out after he left the car to go get his boss to help. He didn't have much other than canned lines like "Today is your lucky day!" "What a great choice!" and "congratulations!" Maybe the guy was new, but then, neither he nor his boss made much of an effort to be polite; apparently my current car, which KBB puts around $800, was "basically worthless" and they would give me a couple hundred "to take it off my hands." When it came time to negotiate, their "best offer" was still more than $400 above what other dealers had quoted me online. I will say this, though: the boss had a good poker face when I made my counter-offer. They said that they were "no-hassle, no-haggle" and as proof, took me over to a sign in the front that made no mention of this. I had to stifle a laugh as we walked back to the cubicle. They didn't make any serious effort to negotiate and just let me walk. Ultimately, I got the impression that they didn't take me seriously as a customer, as though they didn't care whether they got my business. More

I've purchased two dozen cars for family members over the years. and there is none better than Oakbrook Toyota with .....these guys are first rate. Joe is a pro...knowledgable, straightforward, pleasant, low key. I come in with my experience and having done my homework. The negotiations are quick, to the point, and always transparent. And he'll return my calls or quote me a price even if I'm checking for an out-of-state family member. I've purchased cars at a dozen different dealerships over the years. It's easy to buy cars here.....at prices as good or better than anywhere else. As an experienced buyer, I give them my highest recommendation. More
Refusal of service after appointment was made I brought my car in for an oil change and diagonastic. They did not have time to repair the problem found in the diagnostic so they had me make an app I brought my car in for an oil change and diagonastic. They did not have time to repair the problem found in the diagnostic so they had me make an appointment for Saturday to have it fixed. When I arrived Saturday morning for my appointment I was told that this was not a Saturday job and they were unable to perform the service. Why would they have me make an appointment Saturday if they knew they wouldn't be able to fix it. I have now tried twice now to get my car fixed and went out of my way to find transportation to and from the dealership and both times have been told they won't fix it that particular day. If you actually want to get your car worked on go to ANOTHER LOCATION. Leon was extremely rude and not professional to deal with. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told he was unavailable and in a meeting. I will not be wasting my time at this location in the future and I strongly suggest others do the same. More
